I came in for a showing one day and the environment was so clean, quiet and beautiful.the only reson why I didn't rent is that i don't drive and need to be in an area where there is more than one public transportation available for me to get back and forth to work.
I am a long time resident. I've been a resident since Imperial Tower days. I'd like to commend the maintenance staff of Luis(Lou) and Albert. They keep the grounds and building in top notch condition. I have seen maintenance teams come and go but this crew is the BEST!

DO NOT RENT HERE UNLESS YOU ARE A WEED SMOKER OR LOVE SECONDHAND SMOKES Please do not be pull by the newly renovate lobby, they won’t care about you once the lease is signed!! I’ve been living here for almost a year and it is the worst apartment to live. First, everything was alright, but recently other tenants on my floor started smoking weed EVERY NIGHT for 5-6 hours. The hallway/ common area of my floor smells like pot house, so is my unit. I filed complaints to the leasing office many times. First, the community manager Jess told me to call 911 because they are not here after office hours, but this building has security front desk 24 hours on duty. I guess they don’t do anything but “Facetime” during their working hours at the lobby area. Second, the management team only sent out the letter regarding about this issue. When I asked her what’s the NEXT step for this issue. She said, “She doesn’t know, you need to give us time.” So, everyone is risking their health by secondhand weed smoke on my floor every night. And, the apartment management team will not take any action to stop smoking tenants. They don’t mind putting all tenants’ health in danger!! Also, when I asked her to have the maintenance team to cover my vent in my unit because the weed smells are coming into my unit. she denied my request. This happened to my previous rental before, the management team would provide tenants door draft stopper and odder spread and take serious investigation IMMEDIATELY. But, this doesn’t happen at Imperial Tower Apartments!!

I am currently living here. I have been in this building for a year. It is full of mice. If you don’t see them you can here the mice squeaking under the sink cabinet. I found one trapped in my bedroom another one behind the oven and so many running in the kitchen. I had last winter cockroach whenever people start to turn on the heater. The place is very old and disgusting. They only renovated the kitchen for the new apartment to fool new tenants. I’m searching for another place now

Poor management and customer service. Repairs not done in timely manner or completed right. Front desk attendants are unprofessional.
The worst place to live in the city ave area. The new management at this place is horrible look else where if want a manager that actually cares about the people. I would not recommend this complex to anyone.

This place was decent until recently they decided to save water and replace the toilet, shower head, kitchen sink, and bathroom sink for the whole building. The toilet and bathroom sink are not a big deal but the shower head barely has water and it would take forever to take a shower. In addition, the most annoying is the kitchen sink. It takes forever to do the dishes or fill up water in a pot to cook anything. And when you touch the tip of the faucet by accident, the water almost stop running. You would have to turn it off and back on again to get some water out of it again. I suggest you test out the sink faucets and shower head see if you can handle it. Other than water issue, the building is great. Maintenance responds quick. You feel safer with 24/7 security guard.

I wouldn't recommend living here based on my experience. I've never had to put in as many maintenance requests in any apartment I've lived in and when you do you have to constantly follow up with them. The people in the front office never respond to calls or voicemails. On average the water is shut off every 6 weeks for "emergency repairs" yet there's always a water leak somewhere - I've had 3 in my apartment alone. When taking a shower the only options are freezing cold or scolding hot. The fire alarm goes off constantly in the early hours of the morning and takes nearly an hour to turn off because the system is so old (words from the fire department). The common areas always smell like garbage. The place is run down and is an embarrassing place to call home. I'd strongly recommend renting elsewhere.
I lived there for a year while I was in school. I only moved out because they don't have an in-apartment washer/dryer, which was one of my girlfriend's requirements for living together. Otherwise, I would have stayed longer. The apartment was very comfortable, and the building has good amenities and staff. There is plenty of living space and easy access to great places in Philadelphia. The 24 hour security guard service is a nice perk. It's easy for friends and family to visit. I got frustrated with little things here and there, but for the most part, it was a very positive experience.

Living at the Imperial Towers is a pleasure, which is now close to 20 years, originally I came for two years. There are so many great attractions and so close to Bala Cynwyd, Philadelphia East Falls. The apartments have only 8 stories in a lovely setting of the city. The building is quite and the staff is really nice. If anything is wrong the guys fix it right away. Over the years I've enjoyed talking with the friendly and competent staff as well as maintenance. God willing, I'm planning and hoping to live here for many more years!
Please be very careful before getting into a lease with this company. The office rep/salses sitting in imperial towers provide completely different information than the actual lease terms, once you get into a trouble, office reps wont answers the questions. Then someone from the Scully property management come into picture, they will give you completely different terms and condidtions.. They add wrong terms /addendum to your lease without your knowledge. Would not recommend this appartment at all. Cunning and non ethical pratices.
Nice and clean place with 24 hours security guard in front. Close to 76 so very convenient. No need to worry about parking because there is plenty.
The walk through was very informative. The apartment building is at the top of my list as a possible rental. Lots of closet space and I can see myself living there.
