I would definitely recommend Hemingway apartments to friends/family. Apartments are pretty spacious, management is amazing, friendly and understanding, area is decent as well. Apartments are priced pretty well considering the quality of them. If you’re looking into Hemingway apartments don’t just consider them apply online or schedule a tour today. You definitely won’t regret it!
STAY FAR AWAY! My girlfriend lives here.. with a 4 year old kid, and the living conditions are uninhabitable. She has been complaining about mice to the management for SEVERAL MONTHS and does not feel comfortable living there with mice keeping her up all night so she stays with me the majority of time. I have never heard of any company so lazy or cheap to spend money on fixing a problem. They finally sent in a pest company, which simply spent 5 minutes in her apartment laying glue traps. She has already has stated she spent her own money and tried every trap imaginable for the last few months. You will not solve the problem unless you get into the attic, eradicate them, and spend some money sealing up all entry holes in the building. I understand it is Kentucky and we have mice -- however, refusing to fix a unsanitary problem for your residents is unacceptable. Simply leaving water & food outside on your grounds feeding the stray cats thinking they will be the solution, is clearly not the answer. I am tired of hearing about the mice every week, so please fix it or I will spend my own money & use all resources available.. including exploring landlord-tenant laws along with SEO to keep all future prospective residents away

So me and my two friends are suppose to move in tomorrow. We get a phone call just now saying it won’t be ready for another 2 weeks. Very unhappy, very disappointed with the service, and thinking of new area to live now. I’m already spending money to stay at a hotel until it was time to move in. Very uncalled for and should of had one ready. February 15 is suppose to be our move in date. I expect that to be the date.

Hello, I'm a student at UofL, and have signed a lease at Bent Creek Apartments. My rent is $735/mo but I have a roommate so it's split. The washer/dryer connection is very old so a lot of times the plugs included with your washer/dryer don't work. The staff seem very confused when u ask details, and take a while to do fixes on your apartment. The roads in the apartment complex need to be paved better, but they are paving it with the potholes soon. The pool is very dirty, so might as well say the pool isn't included, there is a small little children's play area. A lot of families live here, so kids play in the street of the apartment complex parking lot so you have to drive slow. General area is convenient to shopping, restaurants, groceries , etc Distance from UofL is about 10-20 min without any accidents on the interstate. The place is a general safe area. The gate is useless because, people will wait until someone opens the gates so they can drive through. The gate is super cramped/small and traffic backs up occasionally. Overall I'd give it a 3 start not bad place for college students it is quiet as well. Hope it helps :)
I am so glad I chose my apartment community. The price was good for a 3 large bedrooms and 2 baths. I enjoy the area after moving here from Raleigh , NC I was looking for a community to call home. I am so glad I made the chose to call this apartment, home.
I moved here from Raleigh, NC in April 2015. I came down to look at apartments prior to my move. I love the apartment I chose. It is home away from home, it's a large 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment, the monthly rent, I like the community, the fitness center, my neighbors are friendly. I am pleased with my chose to make this apartment complex home.
