Property Ratings at The Henry at Deerbrook
This is the worst apartment I ever lived I don't recommend anyone to live here the manager is horrible I've called the police on the neighbors upstairs multiple times and, security the manager said she never got anything for either of them SMH there's appliances are 50 years old. The AC was not working. I asked them to put a new one here they refused to do so they have 10 people that live upstairs and 2 bedrooms. They don't do any violations here of the lease. They couldn't care less. This was the worst experience I've ever had in an apartment complex. I filed bankruptcy and included them in it, because they won't get a penny from me I will be moving soon

We can't help but feel there's been a misunderstanding regarding our community policies, one we'd love to resolve directly at your earliest convenience. Thanks again — the team at The Henry at Deerbrook, (281) 446-0055.
Former resident who lived here for 6 years. Very spacious apartments. It feels bigger than some homes. Management is ok. Maintenance requests get taken care of within 24 hours or less. Beware of break ins. Park your car in a space where you can see it from your windows. I’ve seen cars on bricks too often.
We walked the unit and the vibe went from 100 to 0 compared to the model. Very run down and was a major let down compared to what is advertised. Not to mention the unit was dirty, had damages, and frankly wasn’t acceptable for move in. We let the leasing agents know what was wrong so we could have it fixed before we move in and attitude was returned to us. The words “are y’all gonna take the unit or not because we have a lot of people wanting to lease with us” came out of the lady’s mouth. At that point we decided to not do business with this apartment complex. You are not paying for quality, you’re paying for the amount of space. It wasn’t worth settling for especially after the poor experience with the front office.

Very rude ladies that work inside office. The Assistant Manager is never in the office. They call you for stupid things and threaten to give you a lease violation. There is never someone to greet you as soon as you walk in. You have to literally wait minutes or scream to get someone to tend to your needs. Oh and they have a Bad water problem!! Don’t move here guys!

I have lived in the Bellaterra apartments for about a year and a half, and me and my family have been happy here. Maintenance is always on call they come quick and fix everything. Great customer service from the girls in the main office, lesli and Jennifer always answer the phone and they are always helpful. They’re always polite, and always assure they will help with any issue. I like it here, wouldn’t mind spending another year if I had to.

Management changes things (that are not broken)in your apartment without your knowledge. You don't find out they changed something until you see the charge on your account.

This apartment is one of the best I have lived in. The community has beautiful, well maintained grounds where I can safely walk my dogs. In the apartment, the kitchen is beautiful, the bedrooms have spacious closets (which I love!) and the bedrooms are very nice size. I am so happy to call this place home.

Hello, We're very sorry to hear that your first impression of Bellaterra at Deerbrook was not positive. Our team strives to provide 5 star service to every resident and guest and we apologize if you felt we did not meet this standard of excellence. We would like to ask you for another chance and invite you to our community so you can meet the team and we can show you around our beautiful property. Thanks for your consideration. - Bellaterra at Deerbrook Team
I've lived here a year now and it's the best apartment I have ever had. I understand they went through a management change just before I moved in so I can't speak to that but the current management and office staff is great. Cassandra and the rest of the office staff treat you very well and they constantly have activities going on from games to cooking to movies. Any issues I felt I had was easily remedied with a call or conversation with the management team. The apartment is far larger than anything around for the price, even if you exclude my military discount. Yes, they offer a nice Military Discount. I didn't have to ask for it. They noticed my hat when I applied and they asked me if I was a veteran. The kitchen in my 1 bedroom is as big as my living room and the bedroom and closet are large as well. I like the fact the front doors face an outside hallway instead of the weather and sun. This makes it much easier going and coming in bad weather. Dumpsters are plenty, spread throughout the community and emptied often. If you have anything wrong with the apartment, the maintenance crew takes care of it. If you need an air filter or anything simple, all you have to do is ask. Bellaterra is very quiet and does not have roving groups of kids running around messing with things and making noise. I have not had a single incident with a neighbor or troublesome kid. I have a motorcycle with saddle bags and sometimes forget to take everything out of them after a ride. I have yet to have anything come up missing. Bellaterra is located directly behind Academy and is walking distance to sit down and fast food restaurants, shopping, the mall, medical and hospitals. You can almost live your whole life here and not need a car. (Well, maybe not in the summer. That would be nuts. I did say almost.) If you want a quiet, well-maintained apartment with a great office and maintenance staff, lots of activities and close to everything, Bellaterra is an excellent choice. Gene S.

If there is anything you need, or ever have additional feedback, please come by our office and let us know. Thanks again! - Bellaterra at Deerbrook Team
Glad I moved here. I moved in during the management change - literally. I viewed the model apartment with one person that didn't leave me with a good impression, but came back and viewed an available unit with someone else who did a great job! I started paperwork that night. The size of the apartment is perfect for me and my little one, the rate is the best north of Downtown (that I would feel safe at), and there's not much going on to make me feel unsafe. I had a maintenance emergency once - my air went out - it was resolved in less than 30 minutes. Management seems to try to keep the feel of the apartments "community" like, and are always friendly enough. The buildings could use a paint job...maybe a different color, or even just refreshing the current color. The stairwells near the 3rd floor seem neglected sometimes. They have spider webs and could use some pressure washing. Other than that I have no complaints. I do my part - they do theirs. I'll be renewing...

BellaTerra at Deerbrook has the potential to be a great place to live. unfortunately due to poor management, poor communication, and Lazy Employees it is simply an average Apartment community.

When you walk into my kitchen you forget you are in an apartment, the windows give this country feel. The wood floor up to the wooden cabinets just make me feel so warm. My favorite memory of my kitchen was Christmas morning when family came over and helped me cook. They still couldn't believe we were in an apartment. I love this place.
