Property Ratings at The Henry at Woodland Hills
I've been living here for 3 months, and the apartment staff are friendly and very accommodating while making my family feel welcomed. The move-in process was a breeze, and my maintenance requests have all been handled promptly with actual repairs being made to the unit. The property itself is well-maintained with maintenance staff roaming the grounds throughout the day to keep it tidy. The property has been considerably quiet with not too much in and out traffic at late night hours. They do have security that patrols in the evenings. I have had a great experience so far and recommend these apartments.
Please do not move here! Last year we went over a month without our AC working in the middle of summer. We recently found black mold in our HVAC in the bathroom and bedroom. We found it all up in there. Clearly, it's been there for years, it's obvious they painted over the mold and the water damage most likely due to Hurricane Harvey instead of repairing it. Do you think management care? Nope! If you care about your health, do not do it. Management is beyond terrible and they never answer their phone. Always claim to be short staffed. The appliances in the apartments are horrible. Way too much money on rent to live in a terrible condition. If this is your only option, please inspect the vents! Look at everything closely. There is nothing good about living at Generation Grove, save yourself the headache and move elsewhere.
Do not move in to these apartments, we have been here for almost 4 years everything was okay until new management started they are very unprofessional very rude when you call the office the always have attitude, and also the they give out violations with our investigating the situation first also they don’t allow certain dog breads but yet I see all kinds of dogs around here and plus dog poop everywhere I can’t wait till my lease is over ... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENTS AT ALL....

First off, we'd like to thank you for being a resident for 4 years, Danya. We are very sorry for any negative interactions you've had with our staff members. Our goal as a team is to provide excellent service in a friendly and professional way, so we'd like to learn more about your experiences. We'd also like to talk to you about your review and have a discussion about ways in which we can make your stay at our community better. Whenever you have a moment, please contact our front office so that we can address your concerns.
I’ve been here months and there is accountability as far as management goes. My car was broken into like 5 others and we have security but somehow this still happened. I’ve been complaining about the heavy smell of weed coming from the apartment below me but the management can’t do anything about that either when I explained that my daughter has asthma. They said their hands were tied and unless they actually see them smoking there’s not much they can do. I was told that if I needed to switch apartments because of this that I will still need to start the process over like a new applicant including running my credit and a new deposit. So if you would like to deal with noisy weed smoking neighbors and dog owner who don’t pick up after their dogs then this is the place to move.
There is a Hub for packages. Office staff removed several packages I had and couldn’t give an account of what happened to them. I have had it with this place. Cars get broken into and packages get stolen
These apartments are not luxury living. The rent here is entirely too high. We get charged close to $100 higher than the printed rent monthly for services that they can't seem to keep. up. The office staff and maintenance people are very rude. There is no parking if you come home after 8 pm. The lighting in the apartments are horrible, especially in the kitchen area. I can't wait until my lease is up. I wish the Greystar would not have sold the property to these lazy, rude, and inconsiderate people.
If you and/or your spouse are working professionals, keeping looking elsewhere. Do not be fooled by the outside image of the new apartment feeling and amenities. The ceilings are weak and thin by hearing people running or jumping. You may not get any sleep or peace and quiet. The manager, if she still works there will lie to your face.
Parking is terrible. Apartment is infested with bugs, and the foundation of the building my family is in is horrible.
I am glad that I leased this apartment, in terms of location I can get pretty much anywhere in Houston within 30-45 minutes regardless of traffic. With no traffic I am there in 20-30 minutes easily! This is such a convenient commute for me since I travel a lot. I also love the layout of my apartment and the amenities offered. Includes washer/dryer, built in bookshelf and desk area to place my computer and books so I don't spend needlessly on unnecessary furniture. Love that the gym is accessible 24 hours per day and the pool is open year round which allows me to workout even when I get home late. My apartment is also very modest and chic at the same time....so I feel like I am getting the best of both worlds....a little elegance on top of just cool casual living space. Love the wood flooring and espresso cabinets. Very limited issues with maintenance since I've been here no pest either. The leasing staff is generally nice....a little slow to respond to some questions but other than that pretty helpful. Overall, after seeing many apartments in the area I'd definitely say this one is the best bang for my buck.....very similar amenities and nice spacious floor plan with good eye catching features at an affordable price.
This complex is a nice, quiet property with not a lot of activity. The pool area is really nice, the leasing office and amenities are great, with an on-site gym and dog park. It is a great value and has a grocery store, banks and restaurants really close. The management is great, and they take care of any maintenance issues quickly. If you like living in the suburbs, this is a great place to live.
