Beautiful, quiet, clean neighborhood! Love it here. Close to Evans and shopping. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Love going to the gym and pool area. Events seem to always be on the schedule that are fun and a good way to get to know your neighbors. Painting nights and trivia are just fun times.

The Apartment complex is quiet and the area is nice. The community feels safe and the grounds are always clean. What I liked most is efficient maintenance, promptly responding to maintenance requests and performing regular preventative.

Absolutely love it here! Nature Trails, resident events, staff, and neighbors make this place the prime place to be. The apartments are huge and I love my double garage.

Perfect community! Great staff and ammenities. The resident events are out of this world. My apartment is spacious and comes with a double car garage. Big rooms with big kitchen.

We've been here for two years and it's been great! We have great neighbors in this complex, very friendly. The gym, pool, club house, dog washing station, dog park, and various lounging areas make this complex feel like we're living in a luxury resort.

Living in this Heron apartment has been an exceptional experience from day one. Great community, amenities, staff, and residents. Hurricane Helene showed what a wonderful community it was to live at! Residents getting together and staff doing their best to support who was left. Wouldn't like to live anywhere else!

Living at the Heron has been great. The apartments are built to a high standard, the complex is well maintained. The pool and grilling are is great for relaxing in the evenings and weekends. I would have liked to see more environmentally conscious things such as recycling and electric vehicle charging. The secure parcel room is fantastic, knowing your parcels are delivered and secure without worrying about porch pirates. Keep an eye out at dawn and dusk you can often see deer!

Love it here. Pool is awesome, gym is nice, mail room is convenient. The trash compactor doesn’t stink. The maintenance fixes stuff fast. The office staff is amazing.

Best place to live in Augusta! It’s quaint and peaceful. I also love the resident events that the staff holds regularly. Wing Wednesday was my favorite.

We are very lucky to have wonderful neighbors. Most neighbors have at least one dog. We enjoy watching the dogs play together in the dog yard, while we visit. They are a hoot! We are glad that our community has such kind and caring residents.

Love the staff here at the Heron! The girls in the office are super sweet and always there to help out if needed! The apartments are good by most standards and quite spacious.

Love it here! Very clean and quiet. The pool area is wonderful. The gym is nice. Lawns always cared for. The office staff is super friendly!

Nice quiet place. Good amenities. Spacious apartment, modern decor . Nice pool area and gathering space. Trash valet service is good. Unfortunately we have been having issues w the trash compactor for a while now.

Great apartments so far I have just moved in for less than a week. Staff and maintenance have been on top of everything I have brought to their attention. Very friendly, great and well kept amenities, and surrounded by a great area.

The Heron has been a great place for me to live. I love the amenities, especially the walking trails at River Island. Staff is great and we have the best resident events!

I loved it at first because of the location, amenities, and the way the style of apartments are but after a year of living here the walls are so thin and you have noisey neighbors… We pay for pest control every month and have so many spiders creating spider webs in front of the door, not to mention the light above the doors stay on and cause light bugs. There is now only 1/3 treadmills working in the fitness area. I just think they don’t have the best management AT ALL, the place is going down hill, and we pay way too much for it to be like this :)

This is as perfect as it gets. Friendly staff and maintenance that will be like your family. Apartments are done so well. Soft close drawers/cabinets. Laundry, Pool, gym and walking or biking trails galore. Pet spa? …Yes. Any issues, just talk to management and everything is fair. Its beautiful to look out my windows. Close to everything for college students as well as family, and the best schools. Truly love it here. I wish I had a garage. The garage's are huge.

Well let’s start with anyone worth managing the property has left. The new lady Is clueless about getting a simple itemized ledger for my move out. I am being charged RIDICULOUS move out fees and for things that are non existent such as trash removal that never happped. Anyways, I’ll be back with a much more detailed review but I will review this place on every site available!
I love, love, LOVE this community! Almost all of the residents are super friendly. Of course, like with any community, there are a few snotty, unsociable residents - yes, you know who you are. Thankfully though, these people are the exception, and not the rule. The office/admin/maintenance staff is ALWAYS amazing! They are always professional, quick to respond, and so, so sweet!! I especially like the regularly scheduled food trucks, parties, and activities. We moved to The Heron for the school zone, and to allow us time to look for a house to buy. But now, I can't imagine ever wanting to leave! We couldn't ask for a better place to live :) Side note... those of us with sweet, polite pups however, are anxiously awaiting the dog park! Rumor has it, the estimated completion is March. Ella can't wait! She misses her buds and the love/attention.
I love the location that these apartments are in, a hidden gem! It's very peaceful and satisfies my needs and wants in a community, to include the doorstep trash pickup, a flawless gym and wonderful admin. The community radiates luxury and cleanliness! I love it here!
I’m relocating from DC to Augusta and can’t wait to move-in. My experience working with The Heron front office has been top notch. I looked at 12 apartments before settling on The Heron - a community overflowing with single-family-home-type floor plans and resort style amenities. I’m 100% convinced there’s no other apartment home better than The Heron - a community for the most discerning of renters! Can’t wait to update my review with what I’m sure will be details on a wonderful living experience!
