When I put in a request they show up. I put in that my dishwasher was not draining the very next day they came out and looked said it needed a part. By Monday they had the part and my dishwasher was fixed. Been having the same maintenance team since I been here. Always nice and respectful. Just renewed my lease. In the 5 years I been here I have had one issue and it was my AC. Not the property's fault they had to wait for a part. I will continue to renew my lease. This is home

everything is great, i do wish you weren’t working on the meadowbrook pool mid-summer. it seems that the apartments are almost always overlooked and that’s frustrating. hoping it’s a short time for closure since it’s getting super hot.
I love the community! The pool is great, now that it is complete. The spacious units and having a 2 car garage is a plus. Best of all, management and maintenance are very friendly and approachable.
The leasing office team is very friendly and attentive to resident needs! They address any issues the same day, and the property is very well kept. This is a great community.
I was nervous about moving from our house to an apartment at The Highland. But I felt right at home when I got here. The leasing management are super helpful. The community is clean with pretty landscaping. They swab your dogs so if they find their poop, they fine you. This really helps keep it clean because I haven't seen any dog messes left out. There are upgrades being done. And the interiors are very nice and homey with upgraded appliances and light fixtures and also crown molding and a built in shelf in the wall that adds a nice touch to the place. I've lived in apartments some years ago and this is by far the best experience I've had at apartments.
Experience has been great so far (though we moved in 2 days ago). No major issues. Only small imperfections in the apartment which I am told will be fixed in the next few days. Other than that I am liking the property and apartment space. Good layout and nice community

It’s been amazing living at the apartment. I love the people there. The employees are very kind and take their job seriously. The neighbor aren’t too loud making easier for us to enjoy staying there.

Love this place and it's staff. Since I work from home as an IT expensive devices gets delivered to me. They go out of their way to call me to let ke know the package was in their office.
The Highland is ideally placed on the East-West Camelback corridor, as well as North-South on SR-51, with services a stone throw away. Management has taken steps to improve the situation of dog waste (using DNA testing), a welcome measure. The Highland team is doing their best with what means are available. Missing is an attention to the exteriors : broken lights, broken barbecue installations, new trash containers due to a new provider but no real thought of how people need to access their openings and containers sitting in an old infrastructure where trash has accumulated. Trees are a treasure, but some are unfortunately dying, without replacements. There is constantly room for improvement which requires a willingness to act. Priorities could be shifted from the virtual world to the real one : less social media, and more action on the grounds. I support the Highland people that try hard to get things done, and will stay positive. I call this place home.
Love our unit - there is so much space! Management is also great at reaponding to requests and following up when needed. The amenities are nice and well maintained.
All of the leasing agents here are so amazing and thoughtful! I love the personal touches, such as invitations to cool community events and little door surprises/gifts to make us feel appreciated and part of the community :)
It's amazingly quiet for being so close to the freeway and my neighbors are not very loud. Many of the maintenance delays have been resolved and I'm very happy I moved here.
So far I love living at The Highland! I was able to do a walk-in tour on the same day and was told upfront about the pricing/move in costs which I appreciate! The move in itself was super easy as the office had everything ready for me when I arrived. The apartment was cleaned before, had a few minor issues but maintenance came and fixed those fairly quickly. Have had some bugs but with the monsoon season here it is expected especially for being on the first floor. Neighbors above are a tiny bit loud but nothing to complain about. The complex itself is very quiet despite being so close to the highway. I’ve never had an issue with mail being stolen and feel very safe walking around at night by myself if need be!
I really loved this area its peaceful, withs lots of greenery and a pool to relax and let's not forget the gym for health fitness. The rooms are spacious and the services are rendered on time.its really awesome to be here.

Amazing all around!! Staff is so friendly and really do care about their residents. I’m loving the newer community events they have done recently, although I haven’t been able to attend yet! I’m looking forward to more emails letting me know about important things going on in the community!
First I'll say that the inside of the apartment we live in is nice, the layout is good, spacious and in pretty good condition. BUT, in the year that we've been here, the upkeep of the property has gone from bad to worse, and if you have an issue it takes months to get it resolved. When we moved in our dishwasher wasn't working and it took 2 Months to get a guy to come fix it, and he fixed it in 5 minutes. The last straw was when our dryer died and it took 2 Months before we got a new one. The Office and Manager will NEVER return a call or follow-up with you, even though me and my Wife called everyday. By the time they finally compensated us for the money we spent at the laundromat, we were within our 60 Days to end our lease, but of course THEN they wanted to be 'by the book'. And we had to stay another month at a higher rate. Horrible service is what you can expect from them at inflated priced for the area. You can find much better Apartments, in better locations for hundreds less. ??

We have lived here for 6 years and have had a good experience for the most part. However, in the past year and a half we have experienced a lack of response to our maintenance request (3+ months or even being closed before addressed) and now a $300 increase in rent. Paying more when we don't even get what we are paying for at our current amount is crazy. We have addressed this concern with the front office with no answer other than "sign your lease or move". Corporate has also not responded to our concerns. They do not seem to value long-term residents and just keep saying maintenance is catching up on requests... They will never catch up at this rate. Disappointed at this downfall and lack of communication and care for residents. Sadly would not recommend anyone live here at this point which is a shame after spending so many years here...
I really enjoy the management team and how friendly and diligently they work to answer any of my questions! They take the time to show they care and make you feel welcomed every time you walk into the office. It's nice to know I feel like my "voice"'was heard when asking questions or expressing concerns. The community is always clean, it's quiet and I love how fast maintenance gets the jobs done!
Pros: Townhouses have a garage attached. Carpets replaced after each tenants. Cons: Where to begin… - street racing all hours of the day right next to the complex, good luck getting a good nights sleep. -there is a cat colony here that poops and pees everywhere and are aggressive toward dogs, the neighbors leave trash everywhere from feeding them and it attracts rats and roaches, and has the cats meowing loudly outside everyone’s doors for food. There’s a new stray in the complex each week. Management knows about them and does nothing. - complex is disgusting, always trash everywhere, there is no one that maintains the grounds so trash is constantly overflowing and scattered everywhere. - has security go around and put notices on cars that don’t have updated registration but will not enforce the “no parking in front of garages” policy so I am constantly getting blocked in and dodging trucks that are sticking out into the road parked in front of the garage. -gates are almost always inoperable, anyone can enter the community. -not enough parking for the amount of residents, by 8pm every space is taken which makes people park in front of their garage, causing issues for others.
Noisey neighbors stomping up the stairs, listening to loud music in their cars with that booming bass barking dogs (alone in apartment?). People not picking up after their dogs and the trash by the mailboxes usually overflowing.
Overalll place is safe and only compliant is the gym way to tiny. But again its home vibe it gives an all that matter's
the people that work for this community are great. I lived in the unit for 2 years, for the 1st year the residents on the adjacent wall were up all hours of the night smoking weed and I could smell it in my bedroom and bathroom...once they left everything was good.
Felt like a neighborhood, good size of apartment, great location. Had a few issues with marijuana smells but this eventually resolved. Sometimes large vehicles parked in front of apartments in the areas we had to drive through, which could be a little stressful.
I would give it a 10 but the location where I just moved to is very loud. All you hear are racing cars all night. Unable to get a good night's rest my first night there, so I'm grouchy but everything else seems great. I love the apartment so far.
I was cautious when choosing an apartment community I am a single female and safety is key for me, I Have now lived here since June of 2020 and I will tell you not one single problem, Not one time have I had a problem. My unit faces the 51 freeway and at first, I was concerned about noise, Nope even being as close as I am I do not hear traffic. The best part is if I email my manager (And I have more than a few times) The response is always the same day in fact usually instant. I stopped a maintenance worker and asked him where to point my key fob for the gate he stopped what he was doing and showed me then noticed my battery was low and knocked on my door with a replacement. I love it here and will hopefully be renewing my lease again come June.. AJ
The unit was in great condition. I feel the maintenance dept does a great job, grounds well kept. Rental office could have been more helpful with move-in process.

I love my apartment and the community. The people are nice the staff members always respond usually within a few minutes. It is relaxing and most importantly I feel safe
The move in was great, my "agent" was amazing and she made the transition very smooth.
It's the perfect location for me, and it has all the amenities I care about (and many others I'll never use, but that's OK). I can't say 10 out of 10 because it is expensive. You need to have a solid income stream to pay rent that's equivalent to a mortgage.
