Lafayette has many beautiful neighborhoods. Different people like different areas of the city for their own reasons. However, the south side of the city is typically the most sought after. The area surrounding the University of Louisiana – Lafayette is known as the university area. This area, as well as Lafayette’s Downtown District, is more urban in nature than other parts of Lafayette. It is possible to walk to the school, local restaurants, shops, and art galleries. Broadmore is mostly residential and home to people of many different ages. This is also where the Thomas Park Recreation Center is located. Broussard, Youngsville, and Scott are small cities on the outskirts of Lafayette.

Me my fiance and son have been here for about a year and a half I must say it's wondering and I love it. The office staff are sweethearts and any problems you have they work together and solve it very quickly. Maintaince staff members are also quick to resolve any issues or problems. So peaceful and quiet. Neighbors are wonderful and nice too. I highly recommend to anyone.

I have lived here two years. I moved here because I'm a single mom that was looking for comfortable quiet and safety. And I tell you this place is all 3 and more believe me. So if you are looking for a great place with alpt of room for you and your family this is it!!!!

My husband and I moved here to be closer to grand baby. We planed on buying a house, but have been here for a year and a half, life is too easy here!! After all the hurricanes we had this year, we had no worries, just came home and swept off the balcony and done. We love living here, its so nice, quite and the grounds are always on point!! Management and maintenance team are top notch.

I have lived here for a year and this has been such a great place to live! The property is beautiful and peaceful; whether I walked my dog at 5am, noon or 11pm, I have felt completely safe. The neighbors are extremely friendly and considerate. Maintenance requests are fulfilled quickly and office staff is very efficient in responding to email and phone communication.

This is an awesome place to live! After looking at numerous other Apartment Homes in the area, I'm very happy I chose to live at The Highlands of Grand Pointe! It's very quiet, the rooms and closets are very spacious. The grounds, common areas, and buildings are kept up extremely well, and the attached garages are a bonus with extra walk-in storage spaces within them as well! I have to say the main reason and deciding factor when I made my final decision is the Office Staff, including the Maintenance Crew, they are all extremely friendly and helpful, they treat you like family! Love it here, No Complaints!

We always strive to provide top-notch amenities, spacious apartments, excellent customer service and a friendly and quiet community. It's nice to know that you enjoy everything we have to offer.
The apartments are nicely sized, and the maintenance guys are quick to help with any problems. However, the management is absolutely horrible. The say they will do something to fix issues and that is a blatant lie. They act like the very obvious issues have never been an issue before. Parking is also an issue. While you do have a garage, that doesn't mean you wont get blocked in/out by someone else who decides to park where ever the please. Parking spaces other than the garage are also very limited. This could be a great place to live if the front office personnel were fired and replaced with people who didn't lie and respected the residents.
