Property Ratings at The Highline
As an international student, I feel so grateful for the kindness and support I received during my application process. Both ladies were incredibly helpful, guiding me through all my questions with warmth and patience. Moving into The Highline Apartment fills me with excitement and joy. The area feels peaceful and welcoming, and the apartments are truly beautiful. I am eager to embrace this new chapter and create a home here. I believe that living in this apartment will be a wonderful experience, and I look forward to making the most of my time here in my new city.

Property Manager at The Highline, Responded To This Review
Hi there! Glad we were able to help. Let us know if you need anything else! The Highline team!
Please do not lease here. Very unprofessional staff and apartments are infested with roaches. Front office is rude and disrespectful. If something breaks be ready to wait around for them to fix it.
I've made this place my home. Living here for 7 years I feel happy and safe .
Es excelente vivir en highline tiene buen servicio y pronta respuesta a mantenimiento
Lovely apartment complex with a greenspace running through the middle of the apartments. Good maintenance team so apartments are cared for.
Overall I love the experience here. Office and maintenance staff is always friendly and ready to help!! The amenities overall are great and clean! My main complaint is with some neighbors, but Highline does take the proper steps to help. I've been here for almost a year and I love it so far!
I've been living here for almost 7 years. The currently management is the best.
The roaches are the problem. There is a definite infestation and it’s scary how Greystar hasn’t done more to remediate the situation. There is a severe infestation to the point where I myself have purchased the strongest poison for them and although it helps it never last long. They are German roaches and cleanliness cannot defeat those multiplying roaches. I would be happy and staying at the end of the year it wasn’t for that. Also the refinishing jobs of the cabinets is mediocre. The maintenance was nice though.
I love the quick and professional service here. They truly take care of everything you need fixed or replaced.
Professional, courteous staff. Always very helpful.
Lovely Greenspace and walking trails on the property. There is Care and concern about property upkeep and the comfort of the people who reside at the Highline.
I know that I can rely on the maintenance team to show up quickly and fix the problem with great expertise!
Nice community and very nice apartments. Friendly staff and great communication.
My apartment is well maintained on a property with a green space which provides an enjoyable outdoor environment.
At the Highline the staff is great to talk to and quick to respond to my needs and they’re very thoughtful.
Nice place to live in, close to everything especially the main attractions in the city. Little bit pricey than average tho. The management is nice and they keep up with maintenance.
Maintenance acts like every maintenance issue that you ask for is a priority to them and they respond guickly.
I am glad that I am living here for 6 years and I am just about to renew my lease. I've made this place my home.
My move-in experience was truly atrocious. Moving into a place that is teaming with roaches completely eliminates any positive aspect of the experience. I would have left immediately if I had not been as exhausted and disappointed as I was. I felt completely disheartened and hopeless. It was a horrible feeling.
These apartments are Beautiful and Homey also very well kept up!
The maintenance team at the Highline Apartments are awesome! They are quick and do a great job. We really appreciate them.
I've been living here for almost 6 years. I made it my home and I am feeling very satisfied.
Maintained apartment with lovely green space down the center of property. Feels close to nature with patios and decks to enjoy the outdoors. Close to transportation.
I've been living at the Highline apartment complex for 5 years. Recently I renewed the rent for another year. I am quite happy.
From the start to the end was such a bad experience . We didn’t even get the “renovated” unit we viewed and applied for. Our apartment came fully carpet except for the kitchen and the restroom and that’s not what we applied for. We applied for fully wood excluding the bedrooms . Our unit looks nothing as what was displayed online so be careful and make sure you are getting what is on their website . Nothing was honored from the start and if I knew what I know now I would just run away from this apartment . They blamed everything on the change of management. This apartment also has a SERIOUS ROACH INFESTATION! I literally kill as much as 20 German roaches for the day . They brought in their pest control and nothing works! I had to go online and purchase multiple expensive treatments myself and the infestation is still really bad! I cannot even cook in peace , one day a roach fell in my pot and mien I just threw away everything. My apt is pretty much always cleaned with little to no dirty dishes ever ! And the roaches are still around like they pay rent. The next thing are the tubs, my tub has been leaking ever since I moved here and it hasn’t been addressed yet. One of my toilet keeps overflowing and always flooding the place and I always always complain and they blame it on me saying that I was the one that clogged it when I’ve been telling them there is no way it can ever be a clogged that there had to be something else wrong . The management really don’t care at all . They’re so nonchalant about every single thing . At month two they even offered me to break my lease without penalty instead of trying to accommodate us. We have endured so much living here , from the stove top not working when it wants, from the fridge was so old it had an smell of a dead person ( they gave us a new fridge) from the ac unit leaking so bad until they had to change the whole ac , theres still leaking in the tubs , outlets not working from the start , ROACH infestation, toilet issues, so many issues that I tried so hard to bear just to live peaceful. From I came here , I’ve had to have maintenance at least 2-3 times a month . Sometimes more. I have to say the maintenance guys are really good . They try their best to help fix issues. Anyhow My time here is almost up and if We can leave today , I really would.
It is a great community even though my side of the apt faces the highway it is rather peaceful. The facilities are kept up and clean. I've only had to put in 3 work orders in the 2 years that I have been here and the issues were for minor issues and answered in a timely manner. Also have great neighbors :)
Tiene muy buen servicio en todo y los apartamentos son muy amplios
Good, safe community. Close to shops, banks, green spaces, freeways, the University, and IH 10 and 1604.
Both the office and maintenance teams at Highline are fantastic. They work hard to make our living here a great experience. We appreciate them all.
Love the view from our apartment, love the amenities. The tall ceilings are nice!
Bad/10. They spend money making the front look pretty, but put no effort in fixing things like stairways missing concrete, missing weights, gates being broken open, etc. Do not go here until they put effort into things that matter.
I love this apartment community for the location and the price. We are right next to Costco and down the street from UTSA. The new management team is really efficient and professional.
Would not recommend. The management seemingly ignores requests installs new plants rather than paying attention to parts of the complex that need attention. If you can, go somewhere else.
Have not seen anything special. Was hoping the new management would be a little more active with the community. Special for the Holidays. I do like the daily report on the email. It is nice @ peaceful here. Been here for about 3yrs.
When I called the Highline, I was given completely different rental rates than advertised on apartments.com. The same thing concerning the supposed move-in special, apartments.com indicates the special is 6 weeks free rent, I was told it’s only 1 month/4 weeks. It appears the Highline “baits” potential renters with competitive rental rates and move-in specials online in order to generate interest. Everything gets “switched” once a potential renter calls the Highline. Disappointing to say the least.
I had an appointment today, I went up to the door, through the window i was ignored while I waited there till I caught the attention of one of the ladies by waving they waved back but had me wait outside for 7 mins (I looked at the time) while they talked. I was told when they reached out I could come in from 2:00pm to 5:30pm so I told them I would come at like 2:00 to 2:30. So One of the girls came to the door and I told her I came to tour the 1 bedroom I was a little early and wanted to see if I could just tour and she told me she couldn’t that she was on break, I work in the medical field so I’m called to work any minute. She didn’t seem interested at all in trying to help me or wanting a potential move in. The other lady couldn’t help me either?. I’m very disappointed at this point so instead I just decided to go somewhere else. Covid has businesses going down hill but they don’t seem to want move ins or business at this community. I’ve managed businesses before, if I ever had an employee not show interest in helping customers I would let them go immediately. I read reviews on communities before moving in or inquiring and give them a chance but I will definitely pass on my experience to everyone looking in the area. I should have looked at the warning signs before wasting my time. 1. The mail boxes next to the office were destroyed from what Im assuming a break in. 2. The way the front office personnel ignored that I was there for a good minute. 3. The lack of interest on a potential move in. I’m not one to complain at all but they made me feel horrible so I want to save whoever reads this time. Thank you.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LIVE AT THE PARQ ON THE BOULEVARD. THE STAFF IS UNKNOWLEDGEABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. THEY HAVE CAUSED US A LOT OF HEARTACHE AND I'VE NEVER SEEN SUCH MISGUIDANCE FROM A COMMUNITY. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS YOUR MONEY.
Property Manager at The Highline, Responded To This Review
We want everyone to be happy and comfortable in their homes, and we're sorry to hear your stay here at The Parq on the Boulevard has been so difficult. We'd love the opportunity to speak to you directly about how we can improve things for you, so please give us a call at 210-696-2024. Thanks.
The apartment lease we signed at first was already overpriced but we decided to live here because of the location and perimeter gate. The gate was stuck open more than half the time so that did nothing to keep anyone who wasn't supposed to be there out - people will just wait for a resident to open the gate and roll in behind them if worked anyway. When the end of our lease came up we were offered a renewal deal...of over $100 more than our current rent. You'd think if you want someone to stay you would try to give them an actual deal. The best part is I'm just now getting an email saying I owe an "outstanding amount" ($100.84) after 3 months after my move out date giving me 48 hours to pay or they turn me over to collections; and their website wont let me sign in to pay
New management is horrible. Maintenance takes forever to do anything like replace a simple light bulb. The office is sometimes closed during business hours and no information is posted anywhere as to why. I'm glad my lease is almost up. Time to find a better place that cares about its tenants and wants to keep my business.
I moved into the formally known, "Marquis" about a year ago. The price offered was extremely reasonable, but the location was the factor that won it all. The lack of parking spaces is a daily struggle. But other than that I'm very comfortable. My apartment is about 800 sq. feet, 1 bed/ 1 bath. Located about 2 miles away from the college campus, the local amusement parks, shopping plazas and many restaurants.
I rent this apartment for a year. Generally the living experience is quite nice, its silent and pretty big place compare to other same rate. The location is awesome, it's next to I-10 and close to any grocery stores. Even without the furnitures, the price still reasonable. The safety is trustable and reliable. However, the efficiency of utility repair application is not as good as expectation. Also, the management of parking lot is terribly poor. If you are looking for one person place, probably not consider about this one. Recommend more than one people to choose here.
