Property Ratings at The Hilary Gardens
Horrible, horrible experience. I developed severe allergies and breathing difficulties living in the unit and eventually found TOXIC BLACK MOLD in the air conditioners. Confirmed by a third party air inspector, a total nightmare…This landlord is completely and utterly negligent, incompetent, unresponsive, all of the above. I’ve still yet to recover from the mold infestation. Would give a 0 out of 5 if possible. STAY AWAY.
great location nyu across the street washington square park with the french inspiered arch at the base of 5th avenue and the art deco 1 fifth avenue.the apartment is in a wonderfully clean and safe building called hilary gardens located above broadway and historic astor place, the public theater is around the corner as well as cooper union the one bedroom apartment is on the 34th floor with sweeping views from the east river the brooklyn and williamsburg bridges, chinatown, the seaport south to wall street and the amazing freedom tower.to the right the view west is of the historic noho disdtrict the west village and the hudson river with the new jesey shoreline visible. the neighbor hood has it all nyu, wash sq,st marks place, union square and every thing is within walking distance but its nice to be centrally located above the n and r trains on 8th street and broadway, and the 4,5,6, trains on astor place.the building has 24hr 7 day security a great team of doorman and portes,a garage a valet a gym and a rooftop outdoor pool and deck with amazing views and a suana and steam room with showers its the greatest place to live in greenwich village.
