Property Ratings at The Hudson
This place is the worst! Lived here for a year and so many issues, first day of moving in there were roaches everywhere. Black mold on our bathroom ceiling which they only covered with a panel. Maintenance came in after only 1 knock and were very rude. Whenever we left we gave them 30 days notice and paid the last months rent, after we moved we get a collection agency paper saying we owed the apartment over $1,200 saying we didn’t pay rent. Whole place is a disgrace. Please don’t move here
They worst apartment I have ever lived in. The property manager is very rude. They don’t fix anything when you make complaints and the roaches are horrible here.
The worst managed apartments in independence. The Manager is extremely rude. They are never consistent on what they say. I had a hole in my ceiling for over 6 months and calling them daily before anyone looked at it. Then another 3 months before they fixed it. The office doesn’t care about your well being at all. The neighborhood is sketchy and there is constantly shootings and illegal activities going on here. It is dangerous. I firmly believe the whole office should be fired and the apartments should be condemned…
i’ve been here since august and i’ve had the SAME experience problems even till now and they never ever fix anything!!! i have put in a request for my oven since september!!! and i still dont have one! men came into my home while i was asleep, UNDRESSED, and had the nerve to still ask me to look around, the maintenance SUCKS, the office people SUCK. and this is the worst apartment i’ve ever been to. I WISH I COULD GIVE IT NO STARS
Property is so neglectful when it comes to maintenance. My ceiling was literally on the verge of caving in from water damage, my apartment was robbed twice in a month and my door frame was literally hanging off of the hinges which they neglected to fix for six months. My AC was out for over a month and only when I threaten to sue did they bring a window unit that did not even fit in my window and a piece of cardboard that they did not even tape to my window. Trash and bugs litter the community. Police are always there, crackheads are all over the place loud at all hours of the night, my neighbors would scream all night long and the police were constantly at our building for domestic violence and drugs. As a single woman living alone here was terrifying and I never felt safe or comfortable whatsoever. If you have children I especially recommend avoiding this place. Worst year of my whole life. Yes rent is cheap and they will approve you on a whim but ultimately it is not worth your safety and comfortability. If you care about yourself or any of your belongings do not live here.
The management is unprofessional and there was always bugs and mold that under qualified maintenance tried to fix but never could. I highly don’t recommend living there.
The apartment staff is absolutely terrible. They never answer the phones. There are cockroaches, there’s water damage. We have not had hot water for the past 3 days and the lights in our hallways are out so it is completely pitch black at night. We’ve had issues since we first moved in. I have tried getting ahold of them for 3 days trying to get this issue resolved and I have not heard anything from anyone in the office. I’m not the only one trying to get answers. Do not move here!
The girls in the office have always been very helpful and responsive. The residents I've talked to have also been nothing but nice. I have nothing but good things to say about The Hudson!

I have been living here for 2 years if I have seen changes, although I have months with some details that have not been solved and one has to insist a lot so that they go to the department to see what is happening and sometimes they do not even send the staff.
I really love it here and and my boyfriend both rent a place here and started our family been here six months they fixed every problem we have had and more I really recommend this apartment complex

I have reported Maintenance issues and they send people who are unqualified maintenance people!! They don’t fix the issues correctly. They only make huge changes to the appearance of the complex the insides can’t compare. Most of the pictures are of the office and half the listed amenities are not there and or they make you pay for them. The neighborhood is getting worse. Car break ins,Drug busts, police in neighborhood almost everyday. Loud neighbors. If you have a nice car I would not park it in the lots because your car will get damaged by the neighborhood kid. Would definitely not recommend living here I have had so many issues with this apartment complex!!!

They don’t fix anything and when you complain about them not fixing anything they decide to blow you off and make sure they have other apartments ready for move in. I have mold throughout my whole apartment roof is falling in and carpets that are completely destroyed and they refuse to fix it until I moved out the only thing they want is your money. DO NOT MOVE YOUR FAMILY HERE !!!!!!

Ive been here going on 3 yrs and i have seen a drastic change they are really working hard at getting the property together when i call and have a problem with my unit they respond in 2.2 now im very comfortable thanx a lot for making a change hudson apartments
This apartment complex sucks. They have cracks in the ceiling, mold on Windows, my windows and closets are messed up. Management is rude and threatens to evict people over everything. They don't fix anything and then when you say something they want to evict you. I recommend thet no one movrs in there thats why I left. Plus rent goes up every year and for what these horrible apartments??? That's why they don't have any pictures of the insides of the apartments. They will get you so BEWARE
I have lived here over two years and three management changes, 08/22/17. The current management has been here for under a year. They have input some changes, mainly outside to make it appear nicer. The apartments don't have microwaves, no fitness center, and no sauna. The picture shown is inside the management office. I still have pests (bugs, roaches, mice). The pest control is not continuous, and if you call to report it - you still don't know if anyone has come to spray. The maintenance persons do not come to repair when you report it still. Even emergencies, they never call you back and its rare if they show up. I have always had to go into the office to keep telling them. For the past few months I have reported issues with bugs, wetness in the carpets and walls - no one has come and they don't care. Yes, I will be leaving as soon as possible.
Stove has been out for almost a month. Every time they say they're going to fix it they don't
no Disposal, or dishwasher, maint. sucks, because I do not want to move again I will stay here.
really poor garbage collection , no parking enforcement rent money not put toward apartment improvement but in wrong places.. maintenance sorlly lacking , things don't get fixed. their really need need a more professional crew . we don't need playgrounds , we need apartments upgraded , that are liveable.
