Downtown Rochester is perched along the Zumbro River, a picture-perfect river lined with parks. Minnesota is home to one of the country's best park systems, and Rochester is no exception. The city contains more than 100 parks, many located in or near downtown. And with roughly 85 miles of paved trails, it's the ideal place for jogging and bike-riding. Downtown, you'll find Silver Lake Park, which includes boat ramps and a playground, Cooke Park, Kutzky Park, Plummer House Park, St Marys Park, and Soldiers Field Golf Course -- one of the city's many public golf courses.
While Downtown Rochester is best known for its prestigious Mayo Clinic, there's much more to the neighborhood. Residents enjoy shopping at the Rochester Downtown Farmers Market, enjoying an event at the Mayo Civic Center, spending time at the Rochester Art Center, and attending a wide variety of festivals and events.

Property Ratings at The HUE
I really enjoyed my two years living at the Hue. The management was wonderful, always available to help when issues that needed urgent attention arose, with rapid solutions. I’m very thankful to Grady for the work he puts into making the Hue feel like a community. The units themselves are very nice too. Spacious, lots of natural light, and clean. It was a great place that I highly recommend!!
I’ve lived at The Hue since I moved to Rochester three years ago. I work downtown, and my commute to work is a quick five minutes of walking. The property staff is excellent. All of my maintenance requests were taken care of within 24 hours, and the property manager is super responsive and helpful. I’m so happy I found this gem when I moved here!
Aside from rent being very expensive you also have to pay extra for parking and extra for this and that and it just all adds up there really are no benefits to living here. The boulders is further away from downtown but you get so much more bang for your buck and it’s less expensive.
Wish there is option to give negative stars, i would give them hundred negative stars. Very worse experience of our one year lease. You only prefer it when u have pocket full and u can actually want to waste on it. Very small apartment with super high price with no maintaince. They took all our sd and took 200 more dollars. We cleaned the apartment better than what we got. And now they are charging 110 dollars more for cleaning. We didn't put anything on the wall like nail or any painting just to secure our deposit. But all in vain. I am highly disappointed.
Property Manager at The HUE, Responded To This Review
With the description of this post and the time frame of the review, we can be 100% sure of this resident. There was crayon on the walls, mold halfway across the kitchen counter area, there was a hole in the fiber glass tub, and the screen to the patio was broken. They are lucky we didn't charge them more. The cost to clean the unit exceeded their $99 deposit easily. This review is not only untrue, it's disappointing. It's sad that someone would lie to try to ruin the reputation of a very nice property.

Its a nice apartment, some issues here and there but it's affordable and reasonable. There's a pool.

This does not relate to our property. There is no pool, although our property is pretty nice.
