This is safe but there are a lot of halls and the price of electricity and utilities are high compered with the other places ,some rooms have no windows and might not be comfortable .It depends on your peronality to like that or not.

Super quiet, gated parking garage, and staff is super friendly. The room room sizes are decent. There isn’t a ton of storage space so I would encourage you to bring some things to keep cooking utensils or towels in.

Moving in was easy, my unit keys don’t work and having mail room issues. Will have to call maintenance for certain issues in unit. Quiet neighborhood and peaceful.

The Icon in St. Louis continue to be more and more disappointing. The internet has gone out for over 2 weeks total this year, and they promised us an upgrade. The upgrade was actually an outsource, and it's more unstable than ever before. The hallways are filthy are flies are all over the building. The parking garage remains unsecure. Quality is going down as rent goes up, and management is regularly cavalier and unhelpful when they're actually available.

I've been living in this apartment for almost a month now and it has been a great experience overall. The location is fantastic, with easy access to campus( just short and few mins walks) and various amenities. The apartment itself is well-maintained, and the management team is responsive to maintenance requests. The community is friendly, and I've had no issues with noise or disturbances. My only minor complaint is that the parking can be a bit tight at times. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment for its convenience and comfort.

Bad stuff: Some repairs were not done before I moved into the apartment. Good stuff: trash is always cleared. My roommates are awesome. It’s convenient to live here

It’s alright the complex is okay but I think it would be better if they closed both entrance and exiting garage doors for safety purposes and had think tanks open @ night

I like the apartment. The living room is quite good, while the rooms are ok but they haven't any windows there's not so natural light. At first they gave me the worst room (it has a column in the middle) but then I asked for a change and they gave me another one since it was still empty.

Living at The ICONS is truly an experience, coming here ,I heard a lot of bad stuffs about the residence but I loved what I saw online especially when Jennifer privately chatted me on messenger to just follow my heart. And in a week of staying here,the new management did quite a lot of transformation and I'm loving it. Please stay this way always.

I think this is a good place to live, considering where it's at. Many amenities within and many shops right around the corner. Resident portal is extremely easy to use and they accept pets.

The move in process was smooth although the apartment was different than what I originally agreed to and there's water damage on the ceiling. Overall a 3/5

So far my resident experience has been pretty great! The moving in process was a little challenging but everything else has been great! The reason why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is so to the move in experience being a little tough but everything is great otherwise!

So far so good :) Still under renovation but I haven’t ran into any major troubles thus far! The only con I will leave is that we should have some fresh scents in the hallway and elevators. Too many not good smells lingering around.

I'm very upset about not being able to move my things in because of the apartment not being ready, not clean or anything with lots of housekeeping items left inside of my place! It has cost me a lot of money.

I recently moved in. We had a problem with our sink. Not a big issue but the maintenance person is friendly and also cares. He repaired the problem. Air conditioner also work just fine. The hallways have new paint. There are some things being updated. It looks like work is almost done in the study rooms. Some study rooms are open now. I was told the rest of the study rooms will be open in the next couple weeks. The laundry rooms have also been clean when I have used them. I give things a 3.5 stars right now. Things are good. The front desk people are also very helpful. That is what makes me give a 4 star.

I have been living at The Icon for over 6months and it's been okay so far. Front desk employees at the leasing office are so helpful and easy to talk to. I just think their management team are more interested in new residents than existing residents (just my thoughts).

The management is friendly attentive. They care about the tenants. Maintenance is quick to respond. The complex is well kept and secure. It is a fun place to live!

Cleanliness, garbage disposal is not proper. People with dogs don't follow regulations. Dog urine can be seen in passages. It takes a lot of time to clear it. Gym is not very well equipped. Sanitizer wipes are not available. No tech service, gathering place. Air conditioning in passages is not working.

The apartment is not well-maintained, having one issue or the other all the time, issues are not addressed properly. The apartment is not at all clean and tidy. The garage door was seen broken and year ago and they never did anything about it, always an excuse stating they will soon do it, which would never happen.

The apartments are too expensive for as much inconvenience and overall uncleanliness that exists in this apartment complex. My A/C has been broken for my entire lease term (at no fault of my own), the garage exit has been broken for my entire lease term and the entrance door has been broken a majority of my lease term. The garbages are constantly overflowing, there is always dog pooped left all over the complex, and there is an unpleasant smell that lingers throughout the entire complex. I would not recommend living here. The only perk is that it is close to SLU.

I would put 0 stars if I could It is so dirty here and they try to evict everyone here… the trash room is disgusting and they leave the doors open so bugs get in. It’s always trash in the hall. When my friend and I first moved here we had roaches ?? then management is never here and the parking garage is always wide open so anything or anyone can get in there. I’ve seen homeless ppl walking in here. They lied about having cable… they told me to call spectrum to get it activated then when I called spectrum they told me that they stopped their plan in June 2022 and that’s before we came there in august. All they do is play games and lie just same yourself Im definitely finding a new apartment!!!

I would give a higher rating if it weren't for the A/C in my unit being broken for a year now. I would love to say the building doesn't have a problem with cleanliness but unfortunately there's always trash and animal poop in the hallways and elevator for sometimes weeks. The removal of most amenities that were once available to all tenants and not an additional charge was nice while it lasted. However, the lack of security in the garage makes me feel incredibly unsafe, especially since my car parts were stolen along with many other resident's. Hopefully, both garage doors will be fixed before someone gets into an accident. When I moved in two years ago, I loved living here but so much has changed and unfortunately, not everyone in the leasing office appreciates good tenants.

The experience has been pretty poor the last couple of months. The internet has gone out twice, the first time for 4 days and it went out again 24 hours ago. The complex has been dirty, with trash and broken glass throughout the building and stairwells. The laundry facilities are filthy. Management is often unavailable. Hopeful this will all improve.

Awful place to live, I stay with a friend here. They fired the leasing manager and the only decent employee in maintenance quit. Glad they painted the walls but the floors look like crap still and the current employees can’t upkeep with anything. There is always loud music in the halls at night and the homeless people are starting to come back. Dont even get me started on how unsafe and gross the parking garage is. Don’t live here.

Living at the icon has been amazing, the staff is super nice and maintanence has been quick to fix everything up for us. Highly recommend living here.

It’s gross and units are small. The maintenance and trash removal team are way understaffed and the renovations are unkept promised

It is pretty good for the location, moving in was a lot though. Felt a little under informed about the whole process so didn’t really know what I was walking into.

Icon is a walkable distance to SLU North Campus which is the best thing about the apartment. The management tries to fix things on time and at-least listen to our reviews & complaints. They have good customer service and nice people at the front desk and security operatives keeping us safe at night. Downsides: MOST of the rooms do not have windows which makes the living experience fair! You don’t see YOUR apartment before you move in, you only get shown the model room. The management keeps changing all the time and each comes with a different experience! The rent is no longer inclusive of electricity, Wi-Fi & water! The lease is for a whole year with no flexibility!

It's improving. Making progress. Jay is amazing. The new security, painting the building, and new lighting makes the place much safer. The priceses are going up and they charge much more than they once did. I am hopeful that the property will continue to improve.

I’ve had an ok experience definitely not the best and definitely not the worst… I have had some very irritable periods in time with this apartment and the people in the office they’re not very helpful and a few of them are rude

I like that the icon allows dogs and provided TV and internet. It is located near a bus line and the metolink located on St Louis University's campus.

Overall it isn’t a terrible place to live. They are making some renovations which is nice to see. I look forward to when everything is renovated and fixed.
