The neighborhood of Scott’s Addition is a historic district in Richmond, encompassed by many buildings and structures that contributed to its achievements. This community just south of Bryan Park noticeably became a part of the “Virginia Beer Boom” after the state’s blue laws were reformed. Inside this close-knit community, nine alcohol producers call Scott’s Addition home.
Because of the breweries and distilleries here – like the Veil Brewing Company and Buskey Cider – tourism soared in Scott’s Addition. In addition to many places to grab drinks, there are tons of restaurants in walking distance of one another. To commute into Richmond, residents enjoy the convenience of city bus service and Interstate 195.

Apartment is OK. Fun location in Scotts Addition but management was very behind on construction schedule. Pool and courtyard area were completed months after we were told it would be ready. Maintenance issues with our apartment that have yet to be fixed.

Overall I really like living here! It was frustrating to not have the pool that was part of the amenities I paid for the first summer, but it was opened early this year and is very nice. Krista is a great prop manager and I really appreciate her.

Wish they wouldn’t increase rent by 2% every year for no reason. Also because construction was rushed, even though it’s new construction, there are several issues with the paint job, dirt on windows, and knicks on cabinets that are visible. There is absurdly little closet space if you want you live with two people. Like the neighborhood and having utilities included though.

good: location, in unit W/D, large closets, package room, wifi connection bad: kitchen storage (not enough), natural light (I’m on parking garage side), dirty dog park (it is hosed but needs to be professionally cleaning frequently), construction, loud neighbors, shower doesn’t always get hot enough ugly: pricing (increase is my reason for moving), fire alarms go off just by opening the oven (even with all fans on and window open), windows won’t open more than a couple inches and don’t have screens so bugs come in if open, i had a very uncomfortable interaction one night in the dog park and never received any follow up from management.

the building is always super clean, noise levels are normal, having a parking garage makes life so much easier and safer! The pool area is beautiful but would love a couch on the side with the grills for a places to relax with the pool is closed. Best place to live in Scott’s

So far so good! Very clean, nice space, huge closets, very quiet, great location, no issues with parking, appreciate the locked package room, love the elevators …. Very pleased overall ??
