Property Ratings at The JaXon
BEWARE!!! The Jaxon has faulty gates on the parking deck that damage vehicles, and they will not pay for the damage or even give you their insurance info to file a report. On the afternoon of June 6th, our daughter was visiting a friend at the Jaxon and leaving the parking deck. She was not tailgating and the gate was just open as she drove down the ramp and neared it. As she drove through, the gate randomly closed on her truck damaging the right side from the front fender all the way down to the rear bumper. The gate did not appear to have any operational safety devices telling it not to close when a vehicle was in the opening or to bounce back if it hit something ... thank God she was not walking through and crushed. The estimate on the truck damage is over $6500 !!! When she spoke to the manager on duty, he admitted that he saw it happen and that it has been happening every week to different people. It was such a problem, that the second gate had been taken out of service to be repaired ... so this is admitted to be on ongoing problem yet they refuse to take responsibility, and even refused to give us their insurance information so we can file a claim. So we are left with a bill for over $6500 to fix the damage when they knew they had a faulty gate that repeatedly damages vehicles !!! BEWARE and avoid renting from this complex or you could be next.

Our gate is functioning properly, and we have communicated to our residents that each vehicle must stop after the last car has exited. The signage on the gate indicates that we do not assume any responsibility for any damage to vehicles caused by the gate. Huge turnover of staff when I lived here last year, some were helpful, some were just rude, I got charged a fee for a service that was not in my written lease, and after bringing it up with the staff they said that it should have been in my lease, so I needed to pay it anyways. The trash chute area was constantly disgusting and trash was anywhere but in the chute, and I had water dripping from my ceiling one day (I wasn’t even on the top floor), and by the time maintenance came the next day, they said since it had stopped they weren’t worried about it.

Don’t do it. We are so disappointed and can’t wait for this lease to be over. I am at a hotel right now with my family because our ac has went out multiple times. Then, on yesterday, nobody would even give us a call back. The parking gates have been broke since February. We spent too much money buying parking passes to not have anyone security or even a place to park. The grounds are nasty. Several residents have experienced theft and break ins.

Break ins in the gated parking garage and break ins into peoples apartments which are hard to get to. (All front doors are inside) Trash bags being left in hallways. Dog poop and pee in the hallways. EXTREMELY rude managers with no care for their residents. No help during the whole pandemic. They did whole kitchen/restroom renovations back in December 2019. Paint/epoxy and strange men around walking in and out of our apartments while we had a 11 month old and newborn. Glass, screws and nails were left on our floors for my infant to put in her mouth. We’ve had a mold issue for months now. Their solution is to just paint over it. And over it. And over it. These apartments were great until the new management came in. This place is trash now. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Due to my minor physical limitations and complete isolation due to illness at the time my house sold, Kelesia made the downsizing process as smooth as possible. In fact, every member of the leasing team seems to have been thoroughly vetted and selected for their dedication to customer service. All three appear to genuinely want to know the property's residents and support the community in any way they can, to the very best of their abilities. The finishes in the renovated apartments are thoughtful and attractive (e.g., special tiles in the shower prevent slipping and falling). The only time I've requested maintenance, staff were knocking on my door within the hour and quickly solved multiple plumbing issues quietly and respectfully since I was on a video conference. The location of The Jaxon can't be beat. Kingwood's Restaurant Row is within walking distance, as are the many shops between The Jaxon and the restaurants. The property is on West Lake Houston Pkwy, which provides easy access to FM-1960, Kingwood Drive, Beltway 8 and I-59. The amenities have been updated and the top floor of the garage is being repurposed into a common area for the community. The parking garage is secure. A reserved space is available for a small monthly fee. Valet trash service is offered Monday through Thursday and Sunday evenings. The washer at The Jaxon has the largest capacity I’ve ever seen. Although you can expect some increase in noise when moving from a house to an apartment, The Jaxon is surprisingly very quiet. In addition, the porch or balcony is spacious enough for a full outdoor configuration with loveseat, table and chair. All in all, if you want to enjoy the look and feel of an upscale property and all it has to offer, and a ready smile and genuine warmth every time you encounter a member of the leasing team, look no further than The Jaxon. The property strives for true excellence on every level, the customer service is unparalleled, and the overall value is hard to beat.

After having lived in several apartment communities, and most of them were ok, I must say Harbor View is by far THE BEST!
Harbor View is in a great location, right off Lake Houston. High School and Grammar Schools close. Grocery Stores centrally located in either direction. There are Restaurants, and Bars within walking distance. And during the summer their are concerts, and during the year there are all sorts of activities. Inclusive within Harbor View there is a Fitness Room, a Yoga Room, a Club House with a billiard table, and a card table, a pool with Barbeque Grill., an a five tear Parking Garage and secure doors. In essence a great place to live.

I consistently see smell urine and feces in the halls from other tenets pets.
management is great and they have no way of knowing how residents will behave until they have moved in. It is just not the quiet, peaceful place that it was, but still probably far and above most places out there
I love the staff at Habor View: Hamila, Stephanie, Taylor, Sophia, Jan and Ms. Karen, Jaime, Omar and Marco! The are the best. These young people are easy to please and they make sure they take care of their residents. They are my Guardian Angels and I consider them my family!
Awesome place to live. It truly feels like home. The area is beautiful and the Harbor View complex is beautiful and convenient to everything. The office and maintenance staff are great! Love that Harbor View is animal friendly and is a non-smoking environment.

If I was to review Harbor View I would have to rate my experience here as great. The Location is great. It is located in a nice area. The property has everything you could possibly want. Parking Garage, a Yoga Room, Fitness Room, Club Room, Business Center, Party Room, Conference Room, and a Lounge at the Office. They provide Garbage Lounge, and activities during the year with regard to the season, and social activities for the tenants.
If you are looking for a clean, newly renovated luxury apartment come to Harbor View, where you are top priority and we appreciate you. Its beautiful, uplifting and the staff is AWESOME!!!

I lost everything during Hurricane Harvey. I was living at a newly built apartment community in Kingwood. I loved the apartment, but I hated the leasing office and the manager! I maintained a relationship with Halima and Stephanie, and waited on the HV open house. To come back and visit was enough for me! It felt like home. I could not wait for the first floor to open! I spoke with corporate at KL and was able to terminate my lease and come back home, where I belong! The HV team is a caring group of young people with Hearts of GOLD!!!!!
Lived here 6 years. Conrgrats Cortland Partners with your choice of a new manager here at Harborview. A move that should have been made years ago, instead of the unqualified "affirmative action" hire we have had to endure. Only see good things happening here in the future with Stephanie Clay as manager...

Harbor View is a very welcoming community. The office staff is professional and the maintenance team ensures that your requests are resolved very quickly. The door to door trash pickup, beautiful clubhouse, gym, garaged parking, security features and elevators give you a feel of living a very luxurious high-rise life at a cost that is second to none. They say that your home is where your heart is and at Harbor View I've found my Home!
Harborview is a wonderful place to live. The office staff and management are always accessible and available to help with any issues that I have. It's so amazing that both Halima, the property manager and Stephanie, the assistant manager know every resident by name. That makes all the difference.

I have been a resident at Harborview Apartments for the past going on four years. I must say I am very content and glad I chose this community. The community is easily accessible to lots of restaurants and shopping, but for me the bonus is “Halima”. I had to let her know that I had so much respect for her tenacity and dedication in managing her job as community manager. I realize the magnitude of daily or shall I say the enormous issues that she and her staff are handling. It takes someone with such dedication and loyalty. She has empathy for her residents, to ensure we are comforted and understand how important we are. Being that this is a huge community she graciously exude in her efforts in making sure issues or service requests are resolved. So, I say well done “Halima” may God continue to strengthen you and give you wisdom each day challenges come forth.???????? By the way, garage parking on the same level as your apartment unit is a true blessing.

Harbor View is a beautiful community with lovely apartment homes. The office staff is wonderful! Very helpful, friendly and always greets you with a smile. The maintenance team is the best I have ever dealt with. All in all a dream team in apartment management.
