Uptown Hoboken is located a few miles north of Downtown Hoboken, stretching from 8th Street to 18th Street. Nestled along the Hudson River, across from New York City, this urban, walkable neighborhood is filled with elegant brownstones, charming brick multi-family units, and lavish high-rise apartments. This neighborhood is home to several gorgeous urban parks, with an abundance of restaurants, pubs, and shops within walking distance of each other.
Waterfront Maxwell Place Park offers dynamic views of the Hudson River along with a small beach and playground, while Shipyard Park hosts family-friendly summer concerts. Nearby you can experience a bit of the Mile Square City’s history by visiting the Hoboken Historical Museum or the Birthplace of Baseball Monument, which marks the spot of where the original baseball diamond was located. When you’re feeling hungry in your new apartment, you’ll be able to take a short walk to whatever you have a taste for.

Property Ratings at The Jordan
Community looks nice and leasing office is very responsive. Emma and Harleigh have been a pleasure to work with!
Emma and the rest of the team are the best. So personable and accommodating to make sure everything went smoothly.
YES
As stated in previous reviews, the walls are incredibly thin and you hear everything. The Clinton St side of the building has a trash pickup every morning around 1am that will wake you up. Also as stated best in an earlier review, “if you are unlucky to have neighbors above you who have children, you will wish you never signed the lease because you will have a miserable existence.” The apartments have a nice interior, but construction of the building is horrible and management doesn’t seem to care.
This is the best management company I ever had, and I would therefore definitely recommend this community. Great service, always with a smile, allways willing to help!
I would recommend this apartment community because it is a community.
Walls and doors were very thin. I could even hear neighbors phone alarms going off in the morning. This shouldn't be the case in a 'luxury' apartment. Rent was also high given the available units in the area.
Just like the previous review stated, the ceiling walls are thin. If you are unlucky to have neighbors above you who have children, you will wish you never signed the lease because you will have a miserable existence. Also, you will hear drunk people on the street coming back from Biergarten every Friday and Saturday. The apartments themselves are very nice, but construction is horrible.
The interiors are very nice at the Jordan. However, you can hear your neighbors stomping above you day and night and management doesn't seem to care nor enforce carpeting clauses. They leased up the building prior to completing construction and noise and odor issues that affect the apartments themselves receive no attention from management. The windows are also paper thin. We can hear people having conversations on the street with our windows fully closed, several stories above the sidewalk. I would recommend living on the top floor if you decide to move here.
