This place is way below average, in all aspects other than maintenance. Yet they continue to raise the rent each year. You drive 0.5 miles in any direction and you'll be in the ghetto. At night you'll here the drive by shootings in the distance. The area isn't nice so it's baffling why they push tenants out by raising rent. Package handling is abysmal. When the lockers are offline, just pray to the Gods the front office doesnt "lose" your package or return to sender. They will return to sender without a receipt, so you will have no idea where your packages are. Also, hallways and stairs are absolutely filthy. When valet trash comes to take your garbage, bags will drip and stain everywhere and the complex will never clean it. I watched valet trash literally gather all the bags for one building and set them on the sidewalk that leads to the building, which puddles all that lovely trash juice in one area. Your walls in your apartment are either thin or made of hardened construction paper, because you will hear every single thing your neighbors do. I mean EVERYTHING.The complex will also allow landscapers to start mowing the grass at like 5am-6am, which will wake you up instantly. Bugs are a real problem here. Had issues with spiders, roaches, crickets, and wasps throughout my time here. Doesn't matter what floor your on. The only positive about this place, is their maintenance crew, which will fix anything you need asap, day of. Access to the Greenline park is another plus. All in all, I would not recommend this place. The value isn't there, for what you are paying. Not by a long shot.

The community is great and the units are amazing. However, the leasing office staff is horrible. They have horrible communication skills and as a result I have to constantly follow up to get basic issues resolved. I couldnt get into the complex because my clickers didnt work, nor did my gate code. Also, I cant even check my mail because my mail keys dont work either. I also cant get packages because they have yet to send info for their package concierge services either.

This is an Oasis! Beautiful apartment community with awesome leasing managers and staff. There is valet trash collection and a very well kept community. It is quiet and the balconies are a plus. The location is convenient and reasonably price. This is the best community we have lived in since Playa Del Rey, California.
The staff is always super friendly and willing to help. Never had issues that werent resolved.

The Kennedy at Brooks city base is a well established community with excellent staff. Customer service is a priority for the team and they make sure you were taken care of. I would recommend Kennedy at Brooks city base to all my friends. The amenities are excellent and the green space is great for riding bikes, walking or jogging.
Landscaping is always kept up. Areas are always clean. Office staff is always nice and helpful.
I Am very satisfied with my Living here I really feel safe,comfy,so relax when am home and feel I do have my privacy The staff very nice maintenance súper on the ball residents Are kind. Am Glad I picked The Kennedy Apt this is My Home.
We have had a great experience living at The Kennedy at Brooks City Base the last 3 months. We love having immediate access to the Greenline Park, the quality of the amenities, and the pet-friendly community. We have felt happy and safe living here!
I love the Kennedy hill apartments its upscale luxury and Ive never had any problems or issues with anyone very quiet community.
I am very satisfied with my living here its very clean peaceful love the keeping up with the lawn the area people are nice very quiet place I enjoy myself everyday private well taken care of
I love living at The Kennedy. The staff is top notch and every request is handled professionally and with alacrity. Its location makes it perfect for neighborhood living with restaurants, shopping and theaters close by. Moving to The Kennedy was one of the best decisions I ever made.
Resort style living....great for retirement...no hassle lifestyle...Amenities are well maintained and the Greenline Park is a huge bonus!
This place has a HORRIBLE crime problem. Many people have had their cars vandalized from a rock through a window to someone backing into another car and taking off. Be prepared for packages to come up missing and don't be alarmed if you have creepers trying to watch you through your windows. There's also drug dealers that go on in plain sight. Also the gates are ALWAYS broken. They have a HORRIBLY bad ant problem, especially when it rains. The ants then start coming into the apartments. They claim they sprayed but didn't do any good and they didn't come out the day they said they would, she had to reach back out to the property. She does not leave food out or live in messy conditions however, she's always finding ants. They're solution is either she pays to fix the problem or keep putting in request and they'll continually come out and spray their situation. The apartments are not insulated at all. You can tell this by your electricity bill as well as being able to hear everything around you. You can hear you neighbors talk, their TVs, every time they close a door or cabinet, and you can hear everyone go up and down the stairs and everything else outside. This includes them playing music down at the place next door and playing outside movies. The wood flooring already buckling in the bathroom bc of the poor quality. Her walls have many cracks in them and are growing larger. They came and "fixed" them however, you can't just put a little puddy on the wall and think it will fix it when it's a fountain issue. So now the cracks are not only visible again but larger and even more cracks where there wasn't proper. The bedroom door wouldn't shut but they did fix that. The back door has to be slammed more than once for it to actually shut enough to lock it. Also the front door had a huge gap at the bottom where you could see the wall outside through it. They fixed it about 8 months ago. Now, there's a gap at the top with now cold air coming in. I was informed it's due to them not building the apartments properly and was too big in a rush to get them finished for the students attending next door. There is always something broken or not accessible. The gates are messed up frequently, they will inform you that the bbq pits aren't working or the pool is closed until further notice but they never inform you of the reopening. The under the cabinet lights in the kitchen have never worked.
This apartment complex has been growing in crime rates -- several attempted break-ins, robberies, stolen packages, drug deals, vehicles broken into, harassment from non-residents wandering around the complex. To my knowledge, there have been no measures taken to attempt to increase the security at this apartment. The gates are never closed and have been broken since June. There is a single courtesy officer who will respond to calls, but there is no security patrol. Even more alarming is that the management is aware of these incidents but do not send out alerts to their residents after alarming things happen. They leave us in the dark, instead of warning us. After two months of constant issues, yesterday was the first time they sent any notice, only saying that we are responsible for ourselves, that the gates play no role in security, and to have common sense. The amount of rent I pay to feel this unsafe in my own home is not worth it. I will be moving out as soon as possible. I do not recommend you live here if safety is a priority, especially if you have a family or plan to live alone.
