The Kensington is a great place to live -- nice location, beautiful landscape, and friendly neighbors. Abby, the property manager is quick to respond to any queries and then follows up to ensure that things are taken care. Highly recommended!
I have been living here for a few years and absolutely love it. The apartments are spacious with high ceilings, stainless steel appliances, comes with washer/dryer, and accepts our furry friends! The community is very friendly, and we look out for one another. Summer is a blast with the pool, and so many use the gym. I hope to be here a long long time!
I cannot say enough good things about this complex! My husband and I are going on our 4th year here. Such a beautiful property that is kept very clean. The apartments themselves are beautiful. So much character. What more could you ask for... close to so much, in unit laundry room (not just a closet for your washer and dryer), garage, great layout with so many nice touches throughout the apartments. Management & maintenance are wonderful. Is it more expensive than other complexes? Sure but in my opinion... totally worth it. You get what you pay for and this complex it so worth it!
I've been here for three years and I am happy to make this my home. After 35 years of owning my home I was skeptical of living outside of my home. I looked at several other facilities before chosing Kensington. I have not been disappointed. If anything needs service I get prompt and efficient response from management. My neighbors are very nice and the grounds are maintained through all seasons. Just a great plce to live.
Honestly, you could find something much better for around the same price. If you do decide to live here, DO NOT choose the Yorkshire. The entire apartment is above 3 garages (4 if you include your own) and you can hear everything from the car starting to the person coughing to the garage door opening and closing. These are hard times so if this is your only option for a home, it's not terrible. If you have other options, I highly recommend considering them.
My family and I moved here about 1 year ago and we have nothing but great things to say. The property manager is very accommodating and in fact the couple of times we have had small issues she will stay late to wait for us to get home so we can talk to her. Maintenance is very responsive and friendly. We have met many people here and we truly feel as if we are part of a community. We highly recommend Kensington
I must admit when I moved here it was wonderful, but in the last year or so management leaves ALOT to be desired. I honestly can't understand how it rates at 5 stars, seeing as those are from previous years and there haven't been many 5 stars since. Wayyy overpriced! Staff is never around, they don't return calls or care in the least about what goes on, maintenance is garbage, paint was scraped off doors well over a year ago, still haven't been painted, sprinkler system was broken since spring, just was fixed about a week ago, grass is dead. They did however finally get to powerwash the apartments...on THANKSGIVING DAY! my guests were so excited to get soaked coming in for dinner. NOT a child friendly place in the least! People run stop signs and speed thru development and an email goes out about supervising your children. Please, save yourself the headache, take your business and peace of mind elsewhere!
They fail to inform the tenants of what is happening in our own community. There was a shooting, and they only told people in the surrounding buildings. Then cars were broken in to and they told no one! Keep raising the rent and take away amenities. Landscaping does a terrible job as well.
With how awful the buildings are built I'm surprised at mainly 4 and 5 star reviews. I will start off by saying the company and management are both really good. However, the buildings themselves are built so poorly I can't leave a positive review. I've only been here a few months and the walls are paper thin that you hear everything that your neighbors do. Also, if you're on the first floor you hear every single footstep that your upstairs neighbors take, so you're really in their mercy on when you can get to sleep. I'm already counting days til I can get out of this building.
We had a great experience at The Kensington! Our residence was in excellent condition, maintenance was always Prompt and helpful, the amenities are great and the pool was so nice to have during the summer months. Highly recommended if you are searching!

With the amount of money tenants pay to live here the office could at least maintain a clean environment in the lobby for example making sure garbage is picked up off the floor,the coffee machine is filled & cream,sugars are stocked etc....It’s disturbing to see the leasing agent sitting at her desk doing nothing when the lobby is & kitchen area is in such an unkept state.Do better!The people that pay good money to live here deserve it!

Great complex, staff from management to maintenance are friendly and supportive, facilities and environment are great. We made a lot of friends, but we had to move because we bought a house. Stayed there for two years and my family enjoyed our stay
I rented for a year before moving into a town home. Excellent complex! New and modern fixtures, the amenities were fantastic. The clubhouse and setting were also well maintained, never over crowded, and easy to book for private parties. Staff and management are very friendly and approachable. The size of the garage was generous as it fit my 3/4ton truck. Never any problems, would have stayed if we did not move up to owning a town home. :)
The Kensington is a wonderful community and certainly the nicest apartment complex in Clifton Park. The amenities are second to none, and include a pool, gym, yoga room, movie theater (available for free reservation by residents), and billiard room in the clubhouse. The staff is also exceptional and insists on doing everything they can for residents. Whenever I've had an issue (and there has only been one minor issue that was unavoidable), Kaitlin, the property manager, has taken immediate action to make sure I was happy. She does an amazing job for the community and even puts on events to help people get to know each other. The property is kept in perfect condition and the landscaping is beautiful. It doesn’t feel crowded at all. There is plenty of parking and every unit comes with a garage. Inside, the carpets are the nicest of any place I've ever lived and the kitchen appliances are stainless steel with granite countertops. The Kensington is in a perfect location — easily accessible to the interstate yet far enough away to not hear any noise. The complex is surrounded by beautiful wetlands and greenery. I'm such a fan that I'm actually upgrading from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom. The Kensington is a little more expensive than other communities in the area, but since cable, internet, water, and trash removal are included, it's more than worth it to me. You get what you pay for with apartment communities. The people here are quiet, friendly, and respectful. The Kensington is a great place to live, and I couldn't recommend it more.
The Kensington is one of the best values for your money in the Albany area. The apartment amenities are beyond comparison. The Kensington has the best club house and gym of any apartment complex we have ever seen. The location is convinent to Albany or Saratoga and surrounded by all necessities of daily life. This is they place in live in the Capital District.
Quiet and scenic, roomy and modern, great location. Staff friendly and helpful.
