The Kensington is a great place to live. The staff are helpful and the maintenance team is outstanding! Great location with excellent amenities. I have lived here for over 5 years and plan to stay. The only downsides are the current building being built next door (noise and it will impact some afternoon sun on the pool deck) and the significant decline of community activities that provide an opportunity for residents to meet new people and interact as a community. I am hoping that will change, as these events are a great way to meet fellow residents.

Kensington provides all you may want living in the city.- amazing location, walking distance to pretty much anywhere, Great amenities - gym, outdoor pool, well designed spaces for working or hosting an event. There are community events allowing residents to meet and mingle while enjoying drinks, music, and such. I've been living here for a few years now and can't imagine a better place to live in the city!

Such a great and peacefull building to live in. Well managed, great location near supermarkets, T, downtown and backbay. As well as a variety of cafes around, UPS. The staff is sweet and helpful. Safe building.

Living at The Kensington has been amazing. The team members are incredibly kind and friendly. From the concierge to the maintenance team, everyone goes out of their way to make you feel at home and assist with any needs or questions you may have. They create such a warm, welcoming environment that truly makes living here feel special. Also, the amenities are top-notch. The fitness center is well-equipped and always clean, and the lounge areas are perfect for relaxing or working remotely. I also love the outdoor spaces — whether it’s unwinding on the terrace or enjoying the pool, there’s always a place to escape and recharge. Also love how conveniently located the building is. Being close to so many restaurants, shops, and parks makes it easy to enjoy the neighborhood, and public transportation is right around the corner. I genuinely love living here and would recommend The Kensington to anyone looking for a comfortable, high-quality living experience!

Overall, it's a great place to live. Maintenance is great, front desk is stellar, gym /pool/lounge brings the luxury, but the leasing office is hit or miss.

Amazing place to live
My wife and I lived in the Kensington for 4 years beginning in the summer of 2020. Initially, we were skeptical about living in a big building downtown. We were also aware that there were less expensive options nearby. We ended up loving our time there and will cherish our memories of the place, our co-residents, and especially the staff. The whole team really goes out of their way to make you feel at home. The front desk team (Isaac, Peter, John, George, Angel, Cory, Jermaine, and others) greeted us everyday with a smile. They took the time to know us and make us feel cared for. The onsite maintenance team responded to any requests literally within minutes. The management team went out of their way to create events to build a real sense of community within the building. The halloween haunted house, summer barbecues, and monthly gatherings were way above token events. The space, especially the 6th floor pool and gym, speaks for itself, but it's the staff that really made our 4 years so special and made the extra $$ in rent compared with other buildings worthwhile. We love the Kensington and can't recommend it highly enough!

Everyone who works here is amazing, the other residents are great, and I love the events! All the appliances in my apartment feel brand new, even though I’m not sure if they are. Overall, it has been my best rental experience so far (and I’ve rented many times!) It seems like the people who run the building truly care, which has been rare in my experience.

Since moving in about a month ago, we’ve been blown away by our experience here! We LOVE our apartment, but the people who live here and the staff who work here are even better. The events have been so welcoming and honestly so fun! We submitted a ticket for our dryer recently and they came less than 24 hours later to fix it. From the apartment, to the gym and events, to the concierge — the Kensington is 10/10.
