This place has the potential to be a very lovely place to live. The apartment, pool, fitness center and clubhouse are actually pretty nice. However, there are definitely some issues. First off, is the dog park. It is oddly located RIGHT next to the property dumpster which unfortunately usually wreaks because people can't seem to figure out how to push their garbage completely into the compressor. If the smell of sitting trash wasn't bad enough, the fact that they rarely empty out the dog waste bins at the dog park (as well as throughout the community) which only adds to the lovely aroma (stench). Secondly, the rule of 1 guest per tenant is CLEARLY not enforced at the pool. I have witnessed a group of at least 10-12 people on multiple occasions come out of an apartment and head to the pool (floaties and all). My spouse and I had planned on heading to the pool one of these times but, after seeing the large "party" heading there, we decided against it. Thirdly, as mentioned in another review, are the noises that come from neighboring tenants, specifically the slamming of doors but also just random sounds. Now, personally, i have noticed the poor craftsmanship that forces the doors (both main and balcony) to have to be shut rather forcefully. however, our neighbors feel the need to SLAM one or both doors about every 10 minutes or so at random times for some reason which reverberates throughout my home. I can also hear people carrying on in neighboring apartments so loudly that at one point I had to go out near the noise to make sure people were ok. Fourthly, but not finally due to an already long review, are the sidewalks. Who in the world designs sidewalks to stop well before the corner curb? SMH Practically every sidewalk suddenly stops short forcing you to A) walk on the "grass", which tends to be mostly clay due to the poor grass production or B) walk on the roadside which can be dangerous considering the way people tend to drive through here likes it's a go kart track or their own personal driveway. In my opinion, unless improvements are made, I wouldn't recommend signing a lease here. I personally will serve out my lease because i believe in fulfilling my contracts plus the fact that i don't want to have to move. However, had i known all the hidden "gems" prior to signing, I would have more than likely gone elsewhere. Unfortunately, some issues don't become clear until you're actually here to experience them.

Thank you for complimenting our various amenities. That said, we apologize if your living experience has been anything short of exceptional. We expect all residents to abide by our noise and pool policies in order to help maintain a peaceful living environment. Your other concerns are also important to us, and we encourage you to please reach us at thelandingatwestmott@yahoo.com so we may speak in greater detail.
You would be a fool to rent a first floor unit unless you like your peace disrupted. It’s understandable that the people upstairs have to move around but for “luxury” you should not hear every step they make, every object they drop, people intentionally stomping nor a dog barking. The barking literally echos throughout the entire unit. Another thing, if you like music, you will surely have the pleasure of enjoying the neighbor's playlist. But not the upstairs neighbors but rather neighbors that are not even directly connected to your unit. Oh, and don’t try to remedy the issue yourself, after making a noise complaint to the office, you will receive a letter threatening legal action that will have you trembling in your boots. Also, it seems like they are always stalking you. You can be home all day long but as soon as you leave, you will conveniently receive random letters. It almost seems like they are stalking you by way of whether you car is in the lot or not. Do not get deceived by the amenities, that you more than likely won’t use, nor the semi-luxury units. If its still tickling your fancy to live here, make sure the second floor unit is occupied, so you can get full experience on your lovely tour. Stay wherever you are, save money and purchase a house. I should have taken my own advice.
