The Landings at Pembroke Lakes

The rent is too high for it being an old apartment with a paint job. The washer, dryer, fridge, and oven look like ones you'd buy a decade ago, with no digital parts (not even clock/timer on oven). No microwave is included. Gunshots can be heard across the lake several times a month. A/C unit broke multiple times over the summer and it was not replaced. The agents at the front office are very unsympathetic, and it's hard to get anyone on the phone. Had my car towed away while it was parked in front of my apartment, and their frustrating parking rules makes it easy for guests' cars to be towed as well.

Once you have decided on facilities, the crucial element is the management. Is the management team available for your requests, are they thorough and will their efforts persist until your requests are resolved? These people are available, thorough and persistent in resolving problems. I've lived here nearly 18 years, have looked elsewhere, and still find the Landings to be a superior place to live.

This place was a lot nicer when I first moved in, but It is quickly going downhill. The rent is going up just as quickly each year though. No one picks up after their pets, and there are three+ people living in the one bedroom apartments. With no assigned parking spaces, you’re hiking it with groceries, etc. There are nicer, safer, cleaner communities in the area for less money.

The exterior areas are not well kept. There is tons of mold and doors seem unpainted. Does not feel safe. Need to make the exterior areas presentable. Not gated and needs security. Too dark at night.

I have already began suggesting to my friends and family because the community is welcoming, clean, practical, has great parking, the amenities exceed our expectations. The Landings is truly a great find!

I love my manager liz. Also Dian the sales rep. That why i renew my lease. Very courteous people..maintentance. The older man is very very nice. Do very good work

Location and apartments are nice- management does take care of the basics well (lawn, pool, pets) but don’t respond to complaints well

I have reservations recommending this complex, solely because it needs a major upgrade. The buildings are all old and as a result, have mold growing in there. A quick fix is always cost-effective, however, it does not help the tenant who might have asthma (such as myself).

Everything was perfect in the apartment and the community except for the price but the price was reasonable for the area.

I would definitely recommend this apartment community if all monthly fees were included in the rent (like trash pick-up and pet rent)

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. What's more encouraging and wonderful is the leading agents that are so kind and helpful Miss Diane was wonderful and so lovely. She encouraged my decision to want to move there because of her kindness and her ability to help meet my needs as a new tenant.

I would recommend this community to friends/family because it is well maintained, clean and safe. I wouldn't recommend these apartments because they have very thin walls. I could hear my neighbors conversations, anyone coming and going up the stairs outside and when garbage was being collected. Sometimes garbage collection was after midnight.

I would recommend the apartment based on the welcoming attributes, however I felt that for the price the units could be upgraded.

Although it's an older community, you can't beat the location (off the beaten path) and it's pretty quiet at night even in the summer. I would recommend this for people who aren't needy and trendy and want a nice quiet place to live. If you are one of those S. Florida folks who must have EVERY amenity, this is NOT the place for you. The price is great in comparison to others in the area, but fewer amenities.

The apartment use to be great. Now I would give it a good rating. Its located in the perfect area, spacious and family friendly. Lately uncaring tenants have been moving in. Kids, trash and noise all over the place. The parking has become awful.

THIS IS MY THIRD APARTMENT COMPLEX THAT I HAVE LIVED IN AND IT WAS JUST AS GREAT AS MY PREVIOUS COMPLEX. THE APARTMENTS ARE SUPER SILENT, THERE IS NOT MUCH TRAFFIC BUT LOCATED IN THE MIDDLE OF REGULAR VISIT STORES SUCH AS WAL-MART/ TARGET/ CHIPOTLE ETC. IT HAS A LARGE, CLEAN POOL, GYM, TENNIS COURT AND RAQUET BALL BUT THE BEST FEATURE IS THE LAKE IT BORDERS. YOU CAN GO FISHING ANY TIME OF DAYLIGHT AND GRAB SOME BASS, NO ONE FISHES HERE SO THERE IS ALWAYS FISH. YOUR RARELY SEE PEOPLE MAYBE BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY TWO STORY BUILDINGS. MANAGEMENT IS THE BEST BY FAR OUT OF ALL MY OTHER EXPERIENCES. SURROUNDINGS ARE CLEAN, AUTO PAY ONLINE BOTH RENT AND UTILITIES MAKES YOU JUST FORGET AND GRAB A ROD AFTER WORK AND BREEZE AT THIS COZY HOME.

This is a great pllace to live. Lots of parking spaces and recreational areas!!

It's just an average non-gated apartment community. I would really like to move to a nicer gated/secure community for the amount of rent that is being charged.
