Property Ratings at The Landings at Pine Lake
It’s a little too often that they cut the water off for a day without notice; even if you pay your bills. Just doesn’t make sense. Old buildings +poor maintenance.. always something new
I've lived here for 7 years and enough is enough. Two owners ago when I moved in... The place was amazing. Maintenance was professional and timely. The grounds and trash area was well maintained. The office staff cared and we're nice AFTER you moved in.... Not only before. There was an actual dog park. If you wanted to play a little game of tennis. You could hit the ball over an actual not. And the pool didn't require a fee. Also if you wanted to play a little tennis you could hit the ball over an actual net and not worry about an ankle sprain trying to dodge the earthquake size cracks in the pavement. The community isn't safe anymore. People speed through and blow stop signs. Dog poop is everywhere. Vehicles are vandilized and even stolen! Call the office... Noone is concerned, but if a cat is stolen/lost? Office sends out and email. Go figure. I mean animals are important.....but if a cat runs away it ran away....but you vehicle? You tell me. Wouldn't you want to know if you should be on the lookout for suspicious activity not just looking out for cat nappers? IDK. Trash piles up on the regular... And the staff rides right by it all day long. They only fix things on a grand scale if the township says they have to after their inspection. My carpet was here before I moved in... And I've been here for over 6 years. Called about changing it for more than 2 years.... And it's still here. Maybe there's a back order on cheep carpet or those pesky China tariffs are the blame. I don't know if the staff wrote the 5 star reviews, but if you were thinking about moving here.... search again. Look I recommend my friend move in here and now he won't talk to me....go figure! As I said before....enough is enough.
Some people luck out some people don’t . They try to slap together almost anything. If you’re a gambler this property is for you, because you will not see your unit and theres a 50/50 chance it’ll be a good one and 50/50 chance that any necessities will be properly repaired by the maintenance staff. More efficient and kind professionals make a property go round! All of the staff could use some fine tuning. Then they have the nerve to charge for pool passes. It ought to be free for what residents have to put up with.
I am so pleased I chose The Landing at Pine Lake for my home. I have the best neighbors, a lovely community, GREAT office and maintenance staff, and the most convenient, cozy apartment!! If you’re looking for a new home...absolutely check out The Landings at Pine Lake!!! It’s awesome!
The landings at pine lake have its moments two owners ago the place was great things got fixed and the grounds are clean. The new owners are slow to repair things the grounds need to be cleaned up. And some of the fees are ridiculous one that comes to mind is pain to use the pool that's amazing. it's so amazing that none of the sites nor the own company's website state that you have to pay to play in the pool.
Horrible ! This place is cheat! Starting from when we first moved in they showed us their model house which looks so much different than the apartment we got. We were not told that it could happen this way. We asked multiple times to show us the actual apartment we will be moving in and they kept denying it. Management sucks - they act rude at time and some of them act so fake (friendly ones). And the worst part about this community is Maintenance- YOU WILL NEVER GET ANYTHING DONE. They lie to avoid getting things done. Sometimes its "we are missing a part which we will order in 5000 years " sometimes it is " Oh we didn't know you called us" even when you called them about issue 5 times in a week. there is only one person in the maintenance who actually is not lazy and professional. DONT MOVE HERE ! THEY LIE AND ARE EXTREMELY RUDE ONCE YOU SIGN UR LEASE.
Maintenance would be faster if they employed snails, the apartments are crooked and poorly constructed (floors slant, 2 story apartments have a cathedral ceiling that is an excellent way to waste hundreds of dollars on heat and AC, the pool is hardly ever actually open, and the front office has a great habit of adding hidden fees to your rent and deposits without telling you, then charging you fees for not paying them. If you do live here, or move in, I highly recommend getting everything on paper, whether it’s your deposit amount or when you put a ticket in for maintenance. We have been waiting 4 months to get our AC fixed, as it averages about 85-90 degrees in our apartment with it running constantly right now. The dumpsters are also overflowing practically all the time, and they only have 2 in the entire complex that you can deposit your trash into. Your best bet is to avoid Altmanco owned apartments altogether, this is the second place we’ve rented at that has had these or very similar issues.
I normally don't like to write reviews, but after living here I definitely feel the need to warn people about this place. The apartment itself is not too bad , especially for the price paid and the size. Once you actually get into the apartment all the smiles fade and no one can care less to help you with any issues you have. If you have a maintenance issue in your apartment all you can expect from them is to put a work order in and pretty much never hear from them again. Your best bet is if it is an issue you can fix on your own then just do it yourself. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone I know. Can't wait for my lease to be up!!!

Oh no, we are so sorry your experience with our maintenance service has fallen below your expectations. Our team works hard to provide our residents with the excellent service they deserve, so this is highly disheartening to read. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to leave us your valuable feedback, which will help us better understand how we can improve the way we serve. Please visit us in the office to chat about this so that we can get to work resolving your concerns soon.
From my initial contact with The Landings at Pine Lake's leasing office, it has been a continuosly fantastic experience. My first phone call to the leasing office is why I considered living here, due to the prompt, and courteous response I received from the first leasing agent I spoke with, to the entire leasing staff. They work individually and as a team of professionals. They provided the time and consideration I needed to make a very quick move due to a job relocation. They made the impossible happen which made my decison making process less stressful. The leasing and maintenance staff went above and beyond to accomodate my schedule and move in was seamless. Not only did one of the leasing staff come in on their day off to ensure the processing of my lease paperwork fit my availability, the maintenance staff responded in less than five minutes to a call I made after hours because I was having trouble with my key. The environment the entire staff projects is that they care about the tenants and truly enjoy their jobs and they love their managment company. Everyone of them that I have met has said the same thing..."we are always here for you and welcome to the community". I recommend The Landings at Pine Lake to anyone who is looking for a new home.....because you have just found it.!!
My fiancée and I had just recently moved in to the Landings. I have had many friends and family recommend checking out the apartments and so far, I have nothing but nice things to say. They have a dog park which is perfect for my 2 year old dog to play in. They have a wonderful gym that I can go to late after work. The apartments are great and was completely spotless when we moved in. The staff at the leasing center were so helpful and welcoming as soon as we stepped foot into the office. We have stayed in one other apartment complex but this one is the best by far! Highly recommend!
Ive been at the Landings for about 9 months. I don't typically review places which most people don't unless they're angry but felt like The Landings deserved a decent review. I love my townhouse (I think you can call it that). I love that my roommate and I each have our own bathrooms. I have had 3 services requests and they were typically resolved in about 48-72 hours. I know there is new management here but they often solicit opinions from us through email which I like. I know some changes are going on and so far i think its been for the better. Its definitely a better looking property in the summer because of dead pine needles but its really worth a look if you're in the market for a new home.
I don't normally write reviews but I had to say something about this place. I recently moved in to a beautiful new apt. First let me say, the apt was clean, fresh and felt like new. Like it was built and made just for me. Even during the leasing process, the employees made me feel at home. Everyone was very welcoming. The leasing consistent, Liz, was extremely helpful. She made me feel super welcome and helped me every step of the way since this is my first apt. Sure there were a few hiccups along the way but with Liz's help, everything went smoothly and everything was explained in detail. I could tell she cared about her residents. By the end of the process, I felt like I was apart of her family. Now that I have finished moving into this new place, it already feels like home. The view of the lake from my window is just perfect, and the fellow residents I have met so far are friendly. The only thing I found wrong with my apt was a small leak under one of my sinks, but I put in a request for maintenance and they came over fast and fixed the problem. Now no more leak! :D I was very impressed with how fast they came out and professional they acted. I'm already falling in love with the landings. I can see myself living here for a very long time. Thank you Liz and office staff!
I just moved in like 3 months ago into a 2BR/2BA and haven't had much issues since moving in. The office staff was pleasant and they helped resolved any issues I had with my unit in a quick and fashionably manner. The maintenance is fast and the neighbors are friendly. I would recommend this place to friends. The schools are nearby so it makes it easy to take my children there and also head off to work in no time at all.
I'm currently renting a 2bed 2bth extra large unit it's a nice size but the bth on the 1st floor is way outdated very ugly brown vinyl floors and old off white cabinets it looks like they found throwaway counters and pieced it together. I moved into my place without an initial viewing never make that mistake.I went to Lowe's and diy the bth. The carpet throughout is of the cheapest quality warn and old they told me my carpet was new but I can't tell. The kitchen cabinets are outdated off white almost yellow the appliances are outdated. The walls are thin in the downstairs bdrm you can hear the neighbors whole conversation and if they smoke you will smell it in your unit. Although I've been fortunate to have peaceful neighbors. Maintenance...if it's something you can fix on your own then just do it yourself they don't wear shoe coverings so you'll have dirt tracking. I had something stolen from me on the day maintenance was there unattended.
I LIVE HERE NOW.... I PUT A WORK ORDER IN FOR A CLOSET DOOR A MONTH AGO AND I GET NO ANSWERS AND LIES FROM THE OFFICE STAFF AND MAINTENANCE MANAGER. RENTER BEWARE!
This complex doesn't even deserve one star. They make empty promises about fixing things. We had an ongoing issue with our heater over 2 winters & had to call maintenance out quite a few times. We were told that parts needed to be replaced & even up until the time we moved out it was never done. We had a window in our unit that had not been sealed correctly & because of the shift/sink of the building, there was a gap between the actual window frame & the structure. They'd been promising us a window replacement for over 7 months. When the maintenance supervisor Rob came out & documented everything wrong in the unit he told us he would take care of it, still no work orders created. Our building was sinking & NOTHING in our apartment was level. We pointed out a gap in the downstairs bathroom & the severe smell of mold coming from behind the liner. After the first year of living there stains were coming up from under the carpet & we asked to have them clean the carpets. They took chunks out of the carpet in the living room & the office didn't even care! The lady that worked in the office, Naima, said it was no big deal. Liz, in the office, thinks by calling people Baby or Sweetie or Hunny makes things ok. Even on the day I turned in the keys I had to tell her to stop using terms of endearment when addressing me because it's inprofessional & degrading. Let's not forget about how at least twice a week every trash dumpster is overloaded with garbage & maintenance leaves it for days. We actually had a resident blame us for dog poop & the office told us they were going to send us an official letter about it. When photographic evidence of the actual resident responsible was shown to the office nothing was done & no apology was given. The fact that you had to navigate through miles of goose poop all over the grounds & track it into your apartment was disgusting! This place switched hands & they keep bringing in new people who seem to do nothing more than continue to make empty promises. They really need to completely clean house. When I dropped off the paperwork stating we were not renewing the lease, the new guy in the office asked me why. I told him poor management and dilapidated buildings & he actually admit to me that they're aware of the sinking buildings. The state needs come in & take a look at the true condition of these units. We still have pictures to prove all of the issues.
If I could give negative stars I would. First off maintenance is HORRIBLE. I've called multiple times for issues and either a.) I get sent to voicemail and no one calls back or b.) I get someone on the phone, they put in a work order, and it takes weeks to fix. When I first moved in within the first month there were fleas (mind you I do not own any animals and never have). Once the summer hit, my air conditioner was not working properly, it took maintenance 3 weeks to fix it (it was 85 degrees in my apartment at this time). My stove is old and the display doesn't work, the fridge leaks (which I'm still waiting for maintenance to deal with) and now there are ants EVERYWHERE. They say they have an exterminator come out every week on Thursday (that should say enough about the insect issue). I have not even been here 6 months and will definitely not be renewing my lease.
First let me say..management has changed once since moving in (about half way into my lease). Pros.. -Decent prices on apartments -Spacious -Ground keeping is alright Cons.. -Old and outdated appliances, AC units, etc. -parking does sucks..depending which building. -maintainance takes will take 2 weeks to fix problems. They don't give you a heads up, no sign they were there, and prefer to come when you not home. - office doesn't seem to be helpful for anything as a tenant. They basically just direct you to mail boxes.. My experiences with them is this.. - had a leaking roof for 4 months. That they would basically band aid. New management came and fixed it. - some power outlets no working. Took 2-3 visits to fix. After me having to constantly call of course! - AC not blowing air properly and not at all in bed rooms. 2 plus weeks...still waiting It's my belief that not all units are problem ridden but as a new tenant how would you know? There obviously going to try to hide it. My advise if you really want to move in thoroughly check these apartment before signing because a lot of them have problems and maintain everything take there time to fix.
I've been a resident in my development, The Landings at Pine Lake, for 13 years. After Altman took over I had to move to another unit due to structural issues. Since my move I've had a countless number of legitimately serious repairs... documented in various ways. The most recent is my air unit, which, after multiple attempts, is not repaired. I spoke to the Regional Manager regarding my concerns and my health. He suggested I get a doctor's note, which apparently means nothing! I come home to an 87° apartment, with the air on all day! My husband and I called the emergency line tonight 4 times and did not receive as much as an acknowledgment of the call. I'm sadly disappointed in the service, or lack thereof. I'll be visiting the leasing office AGAIN tomorrow!
I guess you get what you pay for. The size of the apartment is great for the price, especially the bi-level options give it a condo feel as opposed to an apartment feel. However, management is horrible, they are rude, and nonchalant about everything. Don't expect anything to get fixed in a timely manor, I've been without AC for about 10 days, and a faucet that won't turn off for about 5.... Are they going to contribute to my electric bill? I think not! This isn't the first time maintenance took their good old time fixing big problems. They've also messed up the cost of our rent at least 4 times. The neighbors (depending on what section you live in) are... a mess. We frequently hear neighbors domestic violence disputes and have had attempted break ins in our section on two occasions. Its not as safe and quiet as we once thought it was. They also let trash pile up to the sky without getting it cleaned up for days at a time. Not looking forward to the smell of that this summer! I wouldn't recommend anyone living here unless you're someone who enjoys sleeping in the heat and don't mind getting woken up at 4 AM to screaming neighbors. . . The only good thing about the apartment is the space. The surrounding outskirts are also crappy, with nothing but rude people everywhere.

They grossly overcharge on the gas and don't bother to inquire why there is a 100 percent rate increase in the gas bill the leading company sends you online. Apartments are grossly in need of renovations, air conditioner works minimally. Stay away!

Terrible customer service. They do not call you back to help fix minor issues in the apartment, their leasing team is rude and at least twice a week the trash is overflowing the designated areas. Plus parking is a mess.
Just moved in to the 1 bedroom apt. Its a perfect little starter place. Big enough to host people and entertain yet small enough to easily maintain. The screened in patio is the best feature. Perfect for spring/summer nights.

Thanks for this great response! We are happy you are apart of The landing's Community! Welcome Home!
I moved here from North Jersey and I must say love it. It's so peaceful, and the scenery is amazing. The property is managed very well. Parking spaces are plentiful. My apartment is very spacious with a full size washer and dryer. The carpet was new when i moved in. Everyone around here is so nice. I barely even see or hear my neighbors. In which in my case, I don't mind at all. I love the calm and serene surroundings. Moving to The Landings at Pine Lake was the best move I ever made.
Pet friendly apartment in a nice quiet neighborhood. Luxurious kitchen interior design. The tenants make you feel like home with some homemade warm cookies.
This apartment is a slice of heaven. With the massive living room with a beautiful cathedral ceiling and fireplace gives you the feeling of pure serenity as soon as you enter. The two bedrooms are colossal with closet space to match, perfect for any household. You'd never want to get out of the tub, after taking a hot bath. Summers are amazing. I have the option of relaxing on the balcony with a nice lemonade or the option of soaking up the sun at the pool which is two-feet away. Maintenance responds and assists in miraculous timing. Excellent for students, a family, roommates, or maybe a couple with space for a man-cave. It is definitely worth checking out!
They gave me a good discount on the security deposit and monthly rent for being a student, and they allowed large dogs, that is the only reason I rented here. Maintenance is good. Office staff is mean, they also have terrible contact hours. The place also doesn't pay ANY utilities which is beat! In the winter the furnace bill is sometimes more than $200 and I'm just one person! I can' always afford that on top of my rent and other utilities, I'm a college student with a lot of student dept. They don't even pay the $10/month trash removal fee, come on! It's a cooling little place and I'd say its worth all the discounts they throw you but out of 5 stars this place is maybe a 3.
Although this neighborhood is particularly quiet, and the beautiful scenic lake view is endearing. There are a multitude of things you must consider as a renter. The first being that for the amount of money you pay monthly, you get appliances that are outdated and are only "tweaked" and not replaced. Management is very nice and helpful , but the cost of living in this place is too high for what you receive in return. For a town such as Lindenwold this community is a gem , however it is still Lindenwold so do not expect more than what is to be expected if you wish to reside here
