Affectionately known as “Where the West Begins,” Mandan is a city with a hearty and rugged nature that manifests in its local terrain, people, special community events, and rich history. Despite rapid growth, Mandan preserves its heritage and hometown feel while moving toward the future.
Mandan is home to a number of historic attractions, including Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park, On-A-Slant Village, Custer House, and the North Dakota State Railroad Museum, which capture Mandan’s past as an American Indian village, cavalry fort, railroad town, and agricultural hub. The close-knit community in Mandan comes together for a range of annual celebrations like Mandan Rodeo Days, Buggies-n-Blues, Wild West Grill Fest, and Haunted Fort.
Nestled between the Heart and Missouri rivers, Mandan is ripe with opportunities for outdoor activities such as riverside fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and camping in addition to hiking and golfing at local parks and courses.

Property Ratings at The Landings
Moved in June 20th, since then the rent was not on the app. So I figured it will be due by the beginning of July! The beginning of July they charged me a late fee which was not my fault. Payed the late fee called them didn’t answer. Today I see another charge on my room without any reason. Called again didn’t answer!! Horrible management and communication! Will move out next chance I get!!
I have lived here for just over two years and I have never had a single issue with noise! The neighborhood is amazingly quiet and the other tenants are highly respectful of the property. I have only ever had one issue, and it was with an extremely old washing machine that had been here for awhile. When I submitted the maintenance request I not only got a lightening fast response, but Natalie was also able to replace our washing machine within no time at all!
