Nestled just north of I-30, North Arlington is an idyllic neighborhood with a distinct suburban atmosphere. Wide roads are lined with lush trees and modern homes throughout North Arlington, while North Collins Street touts plenty of familiar commercial offerings, from chain restaurants to national retailers.
North Arlington’s sprawling parks and scenic golf courses stand in stark contrast to the bustling environment on the southern side of I-30, which is where you’ll find popular destinations like Six Flags Over Texas, Globe Life Park (home of the Texas Rangers), and AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys). North Arlington residents enjoy a quiet place to come home to as well as convenience to some of the Metroplex’s most exciting amenities.

Property Ratings at The Landry
Hi this is Sammie service at the Landry is 5 star when you need it you get it te Maintenence team is the best and the residence team is 5 star also.
Looking at these reviews I was skeptical, my gut told me go check them out and wow can I say I’m glad it did! All these reviews are from 2022 and I can confidently say those are left in the past. Neuchantel was an absolute pleasure to work with and so was the entire leasing team! I am happy to call this place home and I’m glad I wasn’t quick to judge!
Outstanding Customer Service! The Leasing reps make the process easy and are very understanding with move in process. I can’t wait to begin my lease in such a kind oriented community .
I came to view this property and it’s beautiful!!! The mangers Anthony and Sissy were absolutely amazing with my move in process. They were very professional and friendly. 5 stars
The Landry has an awesome management team & they are really helpful, friendly & are there for you if u need anything at all. I really like this new management!!
The apartments could be really nice if they could control the bugs the roaches are horrible I been killing roaches every since I moved into this apartment never again it’s so bad to where I’m finna break the lease ???????

We’re disappointed by your feedback and that you are not happy with the positive changes our mnagement company has been taing since taking over Brookside. We’d appreciate the chance to go over your concerns and appropriate solutions so please contact us at brooksidemanager@westernwealthcommunities.com
This APARTMENT, is the worst place to live. They are unwilling to provide good service, they have been bought out by a even worse company. The property is also infested with roaches
This apartment complex is the worst. I do not recommend Brookside apartments to nobody. I'll give different why! My apartment was flooded numerous times due to sewage back up. I would come home from work and see fans all over sucking up left over water. My apartment smelled like pure mildew. I tried to switch units but was told I couldnt unless i renewed my lease. They always refused to get the carpet changed or cleaned, due to me having my carpet cleaned prior to moving in. Also, don't expect to walk to your apartment without stepping in dog poop. Dog poop is literally everywhere! I had tons of issues with my ac/heater going out and there was no urgency for anyone coming to fix it. I had to literally call the apartment complex numerous times daily for someone to finally want to come fix it. They also force everyone to have a new parking sticker every month. So if you work night shift or apartment hours please expect your car to be towed off the premises the next morning. The units are also roach infested. They do not send pest control out like other apartment complex. So fair warning be sure to have a can of roach spray to kill all the roaches you'll see. I also put in a 60 day notice with brookside and decided to call a week later to confirm everything was good with my move out date. I was then told they didnt have my notice in the system! I was then forced to add the extra days to my notice and pay the remaining. Last, this apartment complex was under 3 different managers since I've lived there and the most recent one which may current was the worse. Very rude unprofessional and no urgency to all the issues within the apartment. Brookside apartments is an absolute nightmare. Please check all options before deciding to move here.
If you’re used to roaches then this place is perfect for you. I have never experienced any kind of pest problem until I moved into Brookside. I noticed dead roaches while sweeping when I first moved in and then I started to see them pop up in the restroom I’m assuming from the cracks in the ceiling that are very noticeable. Then it was the my pantry that also have cracks in them. I wake up in the middle of the night and see them on my kitchen counter. I’m constantly killing them at the very least every other day. I no longer have company over.
When we toured our unit the day before move in we found a bunch of roaches in all the cabinets and the closets, so we let them know and they said they would take care of it. On move-in day we kept seeing them everywhere so we let them know to put us down for someone to come spray. They miscommunicated to the pest people so we got skipped, so we went out and bought Raid. They came by the next week and laid down sticky traps everywhere but no one sprayed anything. I still see roaches in the fridge, drawers, countertops, walls, they are everywhere. We just moved in so we are stuck here an entire year. So we likely have to get foggers or call our own pest control. I know people sometimes lie on these things for one disagreement or another with management to scorn someone. But this isn't a lie, it really happened, rather it's currently happening. Pass this apartment complex up, there are better ones in the area that will be honest and not just take your check and ignore you. The pest is a clear sign of neglect that has been going on so long the only solution would be a giant pest overall to the entire building.
I am a former tenant. I lived there for 3 years. I was very happy there and loved my apartment. Unfortunately, when I moved out this past June, I have been charged for things that I shouldn't have. The manager, Pam, charged me $60 for carpet cleaning. She walked my unit after I moved but didn't take any photos. She stated that I had several black stains on my carpet, which I did not. I never let any visitors come in with shoes on. When I asked for photos of said stains, I only received 4 pictures and only one showed a small section of carpet but there were no stains. It's funny she walked the unit but failed to take pictures. The pictures were taken days later by Elizabeth when I requested to see them. I have yet to see these so called stains. Both Elizabeth and Pam have failed to return my calls. I have left several messages. I finally spoke to Elizabeth this morning when I called to ask about the pictures. She then tells me her email isn't working so she can't send me the pictures. Currently, I am still waiting on those pictures. I am disputed the $60 carpet cleaning charges. After 3 years, carpet cleaning is to be done anyway before new tenants move in...why am I being charged??? I wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone. Pam and Elizabeth aren't very nice people and all they want is your money for bogus charges.
WARNING...DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. They are not about the tenants, all they care about is ripping you off charging crazy amounts of money to your balance. We lived here about 2 months, due to unforeseen circumstances we had to break our lease. We spoke with the manager Pam told her our situation and she tried to convince us to stay. We didn't want to . We were ready to move back home. So we did what we thought was the right thing to do. We paid the amount they said we needed to pay which is the re letting fee plus two months. This amount was almost two grand. We documented a letter stating that after paying this amount we will not have any more fees to pay. Boy were we wrong. So after being gone two months and we returned back home we tried applying to other realtors we were denied due to a balance we still had with Brookside. After all that money we paid they were still racking up charges. I spoke with Elizabeth and she said these were separate utility charges that they are behind six weeks. I was appalled. In the mean time they still have not walked thru my previous apartment and racked up more charges. I am so threw with these crooks. Even with my husband and I trying to do the right thing by paying the fees for breaking our lease they are still trying to get money from us. DO NOT TRUST this place at all. The only good person who was genuinely nice was Juanita and they forced her to quit. So if your reading this, this place is NOT WORTH it. They will drain you of all your money because at the end of the day that all they care about. They dont care for their tenants, they just want your money.
This complex was ok until new management took over. HORRIBLE management and they want to charge you for EVERYTHING! They make the front look descent but when you get to the back of the complex.. totally different. The front office unorganized, no one knows what's going. They will tell you they are doing upgrades and that is not true. They give you back splash and give you new cabinet handles and tell you that's your new upgrade. The only reason I've stayed here as long as I have is bc it's convenient for my job and daughter. When my lease is up I will be OUT!!! If all possible look elsewhere, not worth it.
I was excited to move here because it seemed like a nice place. Once I'd gotten in it though I started noticing that the "upgrades" weren't really upgrades and more just a quick cheap face lift. The gate around the property is secured access but one or both were usually open at all times or broken. The staff was pretty nice but they usually didn't seem very organized or really know all that much. Maintenance guys were always friendly but when they came to fix stuff it was always more of a band-aid quality fix. I had lived there for around 2 1/2 years and only saw the pest control guys come 1 time. I know this because I have a dog and they wouldn't enter unless he was kenneled, which during the day he never was. As a resident you pay a pest control fee each month so I would expect them to be there much more often. Needless to say I had roach problem even though I'm a very clean person. The only thing that made living there alright was the location. I could get to work or school very easily. Pretty much the only reason I stayed as long as I did.
THE APARTMENTS HAVE ROACHES TO START AND THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGH 3 OFFICE MANAGERS IN THE PAST YEAR!!!!!! THE FRONT LOOKS ALL NICE AND THE APARTMENTS THAT YOU VIEW LOOKS NOCE BUT IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY YOU WILL SPEND. PEST CONTROL NEVER COMES WHEN YOU ASK TO BE PUT ON THE LIST AND MAINTANCE IS NOT THAT GREAT EITHER! PAM THE NEW OFFICE MANAGER IS A MONSTER! STAY WASY FAR AWAY FROM HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO LIVE IN APARTMENTS WHERE PEOPLE KEEP THE TRACH ON THE BALCONY, THE FRONT GATE IS NEVER CLOSED, BECAUSE SOMEONE RAN INTO IT AND THEY NEGLECT TO FIX IT, THE STAIR ARE FALLING APART AND CHIPPED AND BASICALLY THE ONLY THING THAT IS NICE ARE MAYBE YOU NEIGHBORS BECAUSE THEY COMPLAIN WITH YOU ABOUT ROACHES. P.S I STARTED TO SEE THE ROACHES 2 WEEKS AFTER I MOVED IN!!!!!!
Apartment complex is dirty and disgusting. In 2 years, I've had black mold in my vents, roaches, and broken windows. The mgmt is not nice and just want your money. They do improvements towards the front of the complex, but neglect everything else. Dont judge a book by its cover. Its not worth the money.
i was really impressed when I first moved in and I still am. I love my apartment, it's kind of smaller on the inside compared to my last place but I love it and overall satisfied. I have not had any issues and I pray it stays this way. it's quite, I love the fact I have my own washer and dryer, and I love love the new back splash in the kitchen. I also like the fact there's a dog park for Kali. this is definitely a place I would recommend.
