Property Ratings at The Lanes
Living at The Lanes has been a nightmare since moving in. There have been endless delays blamed on construction, unfinished spaces/amenities, and an overall lack of readiness. On my move in day in August, I was assured that all amenities would be ready by October 1. However, only the weight room was usable (see attached photo of the pool area progress as of then). We’re now well into November, and not only are the amenities still unfinished, but there has also been no further communication from management about when they will be available for use. It seems like this property cut corners and rushed completion to save time and costs, neglecting important details in the process. For example, there is no freight elevator, which means larger furniture has to be carried up the stairs, and there’s not even a hand towel holder in the bathroom. The rushed construction also led to serious issues. For instance, my washing machine wasn’t installed with a drainage hose, causing water to spill all over my room and carpet. The “Emergency Maintenance” took over 24 hours to respond to the issue, and when they did, they ran another washing machine cycle while I was out, causing even more water to spill. Their solution? They used toilet paper to soak up the excess water and called it good. The constant noise and mess make living here feel more like a construction site than a home. The construction workers leave a daily mess of dust and paint throughout the hallways. The lack of pest control led to an ant infestation in my room. I expected much better for a building marketed as “luxury apartments.” Maybe it will be nice one day, but I wouldn’t recommend moving in here — at least until construction is fully complete. The constant noise, unfinished conditions, and ongoing disruptions just aren’t worth it in my opinion.
I just moved in in August - I was one of the very first residents at The Lanes!!!! My unit is stunning. Modern light wood flooring and open and airy kitchens + living spaces. The maintenance team is so quick to fix issues (everything is new so not much but there was small issues from the builder). The balconies are nice and the parking situation is ideal with a secure garage and reserved parking spaces. They even have electric vehicle chargers inside the garage. My dog loves the dog park. One of my favorite things about The Lanes is the location. Mission is deemed to be very safe. Everything is so walkable here - there are restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores within walking distance. Very close to HyVee, Target, Price Chopper, Walmart, Aldi, Chick Fil A + many other smaller local businesses. I highly recommend checking out The Lanes.
We have been blown away by the effort put forward with our new home. The kindness of staff, the cleanliness of the community, and so many amazing amenities to come. We can’t recommend this complex enough!
I've been living at The Lanes for a while now, and overall, my experience has been positive. There are some minor issues like the parking garage being open-aired, which causes dust to accumulate on your car, especially with the ongoing construction. Additionally, I don’t have a cable hookup in my unit, but I use the building's Wi-Fi, which has been pretty reliable. The service has dropped a few times but always comes back quickly. The single-bedroom apartments are functional, though I wish there was a bit more storage available—perhaps a storage locker like I had at my previous place downtown. That said, The Lanes has a lot to offer. The building itself is beautiful, and the amenities keep expanding every day. My unit is small but efficiently designed, and I’m very happy with the modern appliances. The staff and maintenance crew have been great—always responsive and helpful. Security here is top-notch, but not overly restrictive like other keyless places I've lived in. The location is also ideal, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, making it easy to grab a bite without going far. The exercise room is nice, and I’m excited to see what other amenities will be available soon. All in all, I’m enjoying my stay at The Lanes and look forward to being part of this growing community. There’s a special feeling about being one of the first residents here.
I recently moved into this luxurious apartment complex, and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a stunning lobby with modern decor and impeccable attention to detail. As well as the kindest leasing agent Chloe! The apartment itself is nothing short of spectacular. The layout is spacious and well-designed, with high-end finishes and top-of-the-line appliances. The windows and Modern blinds are amazing! This apartment offers cute views of downtown Mission KS, and the balcony provided the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine or coffee!!! The amenities at the complex are equally impressive. The state-of-the-art fitness center has everything I needed for a great workout, and I cannot wait for the terrace pool, hot tub, and hangout center to be complete. I have seen lots of progress since I moved in and the construction is taken very seriously and is moving along quick! Overall, my experience at this luxury apartment complex is amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a five-star living experience. I can't wait to enjoy the yoga room, cardio room, pool, terrace, grills, hot tub, and dog wash station for my pups!!!! This apartment is super dog friendly which I greatly appreciate as well! Such a nice dog park with dog poop bag stations all around the complex! Love love love living here!!!
