Koreatown is a vibrant LA neighborhood fille with hidden gems, bars, eateries, and a collision of cultures. As the name suggests, the atmosphere in Koreatown is heavily influenced by Korean culture. The neighborhood is a favorite destination among foodies city-wide for its endless selection of authentic Korean restaurants, but the community has a much more diverse character than that: the broad range of cultural influences is exemplified in landmarks like the synagogue and contemporary art gallery of the Wilshire Boulevard Temple, the Latin fusion cuisine of Roy Choi’s restaurants, and the popular German/Korean/Hawaiian tinged gastropub, Biergarten.
Although the area is a hot spot for LA residents’ day trips, Koreatown is known as one of the best places to live in LA. Most locals rent their homes and enjoy parks, coffee shops, and stores within walking distance of their apartments.

Property Ratings at The Langham
I lived in the Langham in 2013 and stayed over a year. The building is nice and I always felt safe, but unfortunately many of the units have a bedbug problem. They are disgusting and nearly impossible to get rid of. There is also no ac or parking, not worth it for the price
I was looking at everything this complex has to offer and it is definitely a good deal for the price you pay. All the amenities and utilities included make it a very peaceful and easy to deal with one payment price for the place. Although, Keep in mind that Apartments.com has to correct just a little detail here where the "Efficiency Unit" is showing that it has a kitchen, when after I spoke to the property manager they kindly said that they would report it to the website but the Efficiency Unit does NOT include a kitchen, it is the Studio Unit that does so just thought I'd throw that out there. Other than that, this is a great place to be!! Hopefully their Studio availability opens up soon!! Happy Hunting!!
I really want to move in here. The location is perfect, super close to public transportation and the pool is a huge plus. I love the floor plans, they're versatile and easy to work with different furniture arrangements. The price range is also affordable. Once my lease is up I'm definitely moving into this building.
i was wondering if they still had the roach problem that they had 27 years ago when i lived there. First review was they have a bit of a roach problem. Long story short...sprayed apt on Halloween way back in 1988 because we noticed a few bugs. When we got back that night after trick or treating i went up to air out the place and have not seen anything like it since. Anyone remember creepshow back in the 80s? the roach episode? I think the roaches were the stunt doubles for the movie. There were still Thousands that were alive on the walls after. Needless to say we lost everything we owned and moved out. Guess they never did evict the bugs. But on the other hand...the roof swimming pool was cool.
This apartment is great, great location safe location, close to everything downtown LA, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica it's. The utilities are free there is an up to date work out facilities, they accept animals and a roof top pool. It feels glamorous. Down sides rent isn't cheap though I have rent control but even with that they are over priced to the standards of what a studio should cost, and there is no parking through the building you have to pay a separate 100 dollar fee for that with the nearest parking garage, street parking is next to impossible. Also they have a cockroach problem the on site works try to take care of it but nothing has help its something you kind of have to accept sadly. The last little problem is the floors a concrete with paint over them (not hard wood like they advertise) so pair is easily scratched and scuffed. Over all I like it but with the cost is more than I'd like with means I won't get to stay very long sadly.
I LOVE THE OLD FRENCH APARTMENTS VERY EUROPEAN LOOKING I THANK THE STYLE IS BEAUTFUL AND THE STAFF IS HELPFULL AND NICE. PS GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO CAN.T WAIT LIKE ME
I have lived here for over two years and love everything this building has to offer. It's a well-maintained 1920's art deco environment that brings the feel of old Hollywood to life. It offers a surprisingly nice gym on the first level, coin laundry, a beautiful large lobby with a grand piano and fast wifi, and a rooftop pool with a perfect view of the a Los Angeles skyline. All utilities are included which is a huge plus. The building staff are super friendly and fix any issues in your apartment promptly. The property is located right in the heart of LA, nothing is more than 20 minutes from here (downtown, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Santa Monica, etc.) not to mention how much is in walking distance alone (grocery stores, banks, tons of restaurants, bars, malls, etc.). Whether it's your first LA apartment or your 20th, this will most likely be your favorite. It's been home of celebrities like Ronald Regan and Ellen DeGeneres, and has been the shooting location of a wide variety of films. It's a beautiful place with a lot to offer, I recommend checking it out in person - the building WILL sell itself to you!
I've lived in 3 different buildings in koreatown, and the Langham is by FAR the best place of them all. The building is gorgeous, and the rooms are beautiful. I love the Art Deco feel consistent throughout the place! The pool is an incredible spot for a view, and they recently updated the gym, which is awesome. We have dogs, so the dog run just installed is also a huge plus. We've recommended this place multiple times to friends, and they've come here on our recommendation and been extremely happy, too. An easy five stars.
I sent in to the contact part of the website to ask about the apartments and no one responded to me? Ok that's fine, it's not like I wanted to live there anyways?
Not the same price on the ad. $150 over ad price. Very disappointing
