North Lauderdale is a suburban community situated 10 miles inland about halfway between Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton. This dynamic area has come a long way from its agricultural roots. This up-and-coming city is booming in development and population. Renters have an array of amenity-laden apartments and condos to choose from. Thanks to the city’s growth, locals enjoy a unique blend of international shops and restaurants. Everything from a Cuban grocery store, a Polish deli, to an El Salvadorian grill can be found within North Lauderdale’s borders. In addition to the many public parks in town, residents of North Lauderdale can easily visit the numerous world-class golf courses surrounding the city, and of course the region’s famous beaches are only a few minutes east.

Property Ratings at The Lauderdale at Hampton Pines
The management here is less than extraordinary. I just moved in and I’m the only reason it happened. I called every day for an update because there was 0 communication from the community. Not only that, they don’t answer their phone. It took calling them 10+ times a day to get an answer from something other than the voicemail. The buildings are run down and not kept up with. The apartment smells like smoke and there’s broken tiles in the kitchen. Overall, for what I’m paying, it’s disappointing. They have a coupon for a free pizza when moving in so that’s nice.

We hope to hear from you soon.
ALL MAILBOXES ARE BROKEN AND THE OFFICE HAS YET TO HAVE THEM FIXED. THEY HAVE BEEN BROKEN FOR MONTHS.

Hi there! We apologize for any inconvenience. Customer care is an absolute top priority for our current team.
The overall price of the place is decently okay for the amount of space you get. The area is in a clean place and they clean the sidewalks. The maintenance crew is a little rude and hasn't come to fix our dishwasher that has never worked since move in.

The community is clean and well kept and quiet as well
I really love this community, but there is a lot of work to be done. The phones aren’t answered a lot when I call, maintenance doesn’t get acknowledged, and the trash is piled to the rim. I understand there is new management, but even simple things aren’t fixed as fast.

Service order take too long and no one picks up the phone in the office
I get along with the staff very well. They are very attentive and caring especially Natalie. They are also very professional
Nice environment, office staff is wonderful! Natalie the assistant manager is very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous,
My experience would not be someone else's. This team has only been her a few months.
I would recommend it because of the rent cost, which is great for South Florida, however I possibly wouldn't knowing several apartment amenities were broken, old, or very worn down.
Ever since the complex changed from parrots landing it has gotten 100x worse.. the girls at the office don’t know anything.. every month they say I owe something because “they reviewed my account” I get it cleared up and. Ext month it’s the same crap. Do Not waste your time and move here.
Wild cats, ducks poop everywhere, garbage fills up outside, buildings need cleaning. Apartments could use some floor work too.
I would recommend you guys but I would definitely warn them of the constant garbage that overflows at my building..
Property is very nice and clean and the staff was great and knowledgeable. Made me feel welcome and very helpful. Awesome Customer Service*****
I've been living here for the past 7 months and i regret it my car has been broken into 2 twice my girlfriends car once. When I first moved in the community they had security who ride around the community in a golf cart, but someone stole the golf cart and destroyed and after that it got reap here. People's mailboxes get broken into by someone who lives in the community. The community was recommended to get security cameras for years now from a law enforcement source of mine and the haven't done it yet. The management changes almost every 2 months. And also these walls and floors are very thin u can hear every footstep and every shout by your neighbors. Do your self a favor and find somewhere else thats cheaper and better
Since you get to the rental office, feels a great peace, you are treated with kindness and gentleness, will report sales plans and new developments in a very enthusiastic way.
I love my apartment, it's close to work and the office staff is so friendly
I must say I am glad to meet the new manager on place. I've had an issue for years and I was ready to move out, but now I am renewing my lease. Good job Rossi.
Very clear, great space! Lost of green areas. Nice area and good maintenance.
THE APARTMENTS HAVE RATS!!! MANAGEMENT AND OFFICE STAFF DON'T CARE!!! DON'T RENT THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LIVE WITH RATS!!! Traps we set up caught 2 different rats and they're in the kitchen eating rice in the cupboard and cereal on top of the fridge. We've been dealing with this issue for 3 months! So listen to me and take your money somewhere else. I wish I could move but I'm stuck in a year lease. SO AGAIN THEY HAVE RATS!!! STAY AWAY!!!
Don't bother with this place, take your money elsewhere. My girlfriend and I have been living in parrots landing for the past six months. It has been a living nightmare; ranging from the constant broken appliances to the roach infestation, and that's not even what lead to this review. We live on the bottom floor of one of the apartments at parrots landing and the neighbors above us are complete inconsiderate, ignorant, obnoxious people. We tried talking to the neighbors who in return got upset at us about our complaints. Our next step was turning to the leasing office, which turned out to be an absolute waste of time. No thanks to the manager of the complex Donna. We visited Donna the manager here multiple times over a three-month span in follow up to our complaints. Donna evaded dealing with the situation for two months while we continued to express our complaints. Her response to our multiple visits to her office was "I left a voicemail for the neighbors" after explaining to her that we were going to need more answers to our concerns then that she finally managed to get ahold of the tenant four months later in the form of email. The upstairs neighbors submitted an email full of lies and false accusations. Donna accepted their falsified response with her only reply being to me to inform me there was nothing more she could do to assist with our grievance. I've visited the leasing office on multiple occasions over the past months to share my concerns and the neighbors ignore calls refuse an in person visit and send an email full of lies and that's the end of the mater. If you are in dire need of somewhere to live then by all means this is a place is suitable for you, but if you want to give your earned money to a respectable complex who will be there for you later down the road if necessary then avoid this place at all cost. And there is no doubt you can find better for your money; do not make the same mistake we did and settle.
This was the first place I had and when I tell you the best it was the best place..I moved out because people I was stsaying with but I would love to go back if anything.
Really enjoy living here. The rent is not too high for the value. Management is very responsive and friendly, which is rare to find in South Florida. I will definitely be renewing my lease in the next month or two.
This apartment was the best place to live in. I left because I had to move out of town for a new travel job. Very quiet, clean, and I love the staff. If I ever move back to Fort Lauderdale I will definitely come back :-)!!!!!!!!!!!-Marie
I really love the peace and quiet in my apartment home. I live in a nice neighborhood. Whenever there is an issue with my apartment i get immediate service. The only issue i have my apartment rent is too high. My husband is the only one working f right now
It's a two bedroom two bath apartment I pay $1265.00 a month, it has a balcony, and storage area, two pools. Me and my family really could use the free rent for a year it would really help us out a lot with our three kids.
I will soon be at Parrots Landing for a year & completely adore my home. Since day 1 of me moving in management has kept me very happy & informed of anything going on & changes occurring. I just received notice to renew & I am definitely renewing without a doubt! Again I want to say how happy I am & my renewal rent increase didn't even go up that much! Thank you Parrots Landing for making this my home...For now until I buy a house
The upgrades are awesome! The management staff is great!
When considering Parrot's Landing they sit you down and show you the layouts of the five different apartment layouts you choose to take. After choosing they took us to see the model which was of course very pretty, the same model they have on their website. We were brought back to the front office to pay an application fee and as well as an administration fee that ran us close to $450.00 for my wife and I; after that was completed it was a waiting game. It took about 4 or 5 days before we were told we got in and was sent a welcome letter with specifications on first months prorated rent along with having to get renters insurance. You also have the option to pay a security deposit which you get back when you leave if they find no fault with the apartment or you can get a “sure deposit” which is a little over $100.00 and if anything happens to the apartment that program gives to $1000.00 to fix; you just don’t get that $100 back when you leave.Parrots Landing is a great place mainly because they give you a washer and dryer, a patio, small storage space section where the patio is, granite imitation countertop, over 800 sq feet for a 1 bedroom, the bathroom is big, the master closet is a walk-in closet,a small den for your PC, two pools in the complex, a tennis court and anytime you need a new AC filter you can just go pick one up with no charge in the front office. Your across the street from Walmart, Publix, two gas station of which includes Racetrac, and two nice plazas; also close to coral square mall. When something happens in the apartments maintenance comes to fix the issues within 48 hours. I have had an issue before with my dryer suddenly not working, my AC vent in the bedroom not producing any air, and the water not getting hot enough in the shower; all three issues were addressed within 48 to 72 hours. They also send out emails to let you know of anything new going on that you need to know including reminding you the best time to pay your rent every month so it never shows as late. On the other side of things that can get really irritating is seeing roaches in the apartment every now and again, the fact that there is no assigned parking so first come first serve with the close up parking to where your door is, so if you have a lot of bags of grocery or anything you’ll be walking back and forth a lot; and if you have and overnight visitors its possible they can get towed by morning unless the park their car in a far section of the complex.
I have been living here for 8 long years, thats proof that its a great community to reside in.
Living here for three years now and honestly I have no issues with the apartment or staff. Maybe because I don't let things get out of hand or bother me. The apartment is well maintained and pretty much quiet (apart from those loud cars passing by on the nearby street) The rent is decent and they don't sky rocket the price each year. From the starting renting price I paid 3 years to now, the overall increase is about $75. The only thing that will make this apartment perfect is to be a gated entry apartment as a security measure but hey, maybe in the future. Will I live here forever? No! Why? Well I am planning on getting my home and start a family and I would like to be in a community that has good schools nearby.....I'm not saying the schools nearby are not good but my fiancé has the say :D
