Property Ratings at Lexington Ridge Apartments & Townhomes
Literally the worst housing available in Mt. Pleasant. Constant noise, whether it is dogs barking, people screaming, neighbors music and hitting walls, or junker cars with their stereo as loud as it can possibly go. Office treats you like a child no matter how old you are or how long you’ve lives here, and doesn’t even try to resolve any issues that are brought up to them. Live literally anywhere else and you’ll be far happier.
I have absolutly nothing good to say about this complex. They allow the existing units to break down and then charge ants for routine wear and tear that should have been fixed as routine maintnance, while somehow still being ablebto build brand new units. Nearly everyone in the office will talk to you as if you are a child, using names like kiddo and sweetie in such excess it is ridiculous. There is no way to break a lease and they are only willing to work woth any extenuating circumstances (such as a roomate leaving unexpectedly) as far as it takes to ensure they get paid; all while showing very little regard for their tenets well being and even saftey (we were charged 100$ for a lock change after expressing concerns for our well being due to them allowing an unauthorized person to continue having a key). If you have a therapy animal do not specifiy this is the reason if avoidable because they will ensure that the window sticker (indicating there is a pet in the household) specifically states that it is a service animal, announcing to allbor your neighbors that it is specifically a "service" animal whether you want that known or not. All in all I would never live here again nor recomend it to anybody that has another choice.
I lived here for 3 years, the apartments are okay, the value is great for what you get, although they recently switched their "free internet" to a small company that is absolutely terrible, the connection is often so weak that you cannot load a webpage. They also used to provide free cable for all rooms, now you only get it for the living room. The furnished furniture is very terrible, don't even bother with it, probably older than I am. Otherwise the office staff is very friendly but you will get jipped on the security deposit.
Good residence. Laundry is free, which is great for college students. If you are looking for a quiet place for your family to live, this isn't it. It's college living. If you're in college at CMU, this place is clean, cheap, and great.
