I can’t express enough my appreciation for Ms. Ongela she has been a great help to this process considering I got a complete run around and no understanding of what was going on for weeks at first. Thank you for making this process easier and always responding so quickly to answers I need and what’s going to happen next. Thank you once again.

Hi there, we are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience! Thank you for taking the time to leave us this information about your recent visit. If you ever need anything else from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by. Have an awesome day!
Let’s start with the little pros they do have, pricing for the place. As far as that goes that’s the only good thing about this place, terrible at contacting. Remodeling was a disaster, we’ve been set and ready to move since the beginning of November, only to be moved twice. After moving out utilities over to the new apartment, to be contacted and told another week to move in. Then after causing more issues. Not only have they tried to downsize us out of the deluxe that we originally pay for, they tried to squeeze us in just the normal three bedroom knowing there’s no room or change to the rent amount for us. They’ve handle this remodel unprofessionally. As well as management was able to move into their new apartments comfortably and quickly. As the residence, had to be pushed almost 4 months ahead of the set dated they signed leases for. Along with multiple damages to the apartment and in the process of this experience, we’re being told nothing can be fixed in our old apartment for us to live in this boxed up mess due to us being pushed future ahead. I will never recommend this place for anyone ever. And stuck paying for both apartments. We sadly have mold in our walls and I have a infant as well as a mother with COPD. This place is a disappointment waiting to happen.

Management goes cheap on everything but rent is going up.Residents constantly throw trash all over the place and management does NOTHING about it. Management forced everyone on property to move to a new apartment for renovations and repeatedly moved dates back in the SAME WEEK! Half of this property is privately owned so most of the people you would live next to do not live under the same rules. Some apartments have busted out windows. Office staff is rude and nobody takes responsibility for anything that happens here. While I was here my car was broken into twice and there was a murder. STAY AWAY!

I rented these apartments last year in May 2019 and my lease was up this past May and they kept promising us a new remodeled apartment. I was month to month 05/2020 and I got fed up and moved out due to them not taking action and giving me the runaround about a new apartment and kept moving the date back. The apartment I was in was gross and had bugs!!! NEVER in my life had I ever had a freaking roach in my apartment until I moved there. My ceiling fell in in my kitchen TWO days after moving in due to a water leak and I sat with a hole in my ceiling for 6+ months before they fixed it. I told them multiple times the ceiling was leaking before they tried to fix it but since I’m not a certified I was wrong and bc the guy ‘has been doing this work for 10 years’ and he’s ‘not saying I’m lying about the leak’ but there wasn’t one. I have multiple pictures of water puddles and spots on the ceiling where it was coming from. And the amounts of times we slipped and fell due to the water puddles. The neighbors smoked everyday and your apartment will smell like a bar if you don’t smoke. Windows leak horrible when it rains even after ‘repair’ and in the laundry room water comes up from the floor when it rains. Let me say after living here a year and 6 months my kitchen ceiling light was never put back up since the repair of the ceiling. They actually tried to blame me for the leak saying something about how we improperly installed the shower head to cause the leak. Um hello the shower head was there when we moved in. We didn’t even install it. I have pictures of everything before we even moved in and of move out. They never take action with the neighbors smoking or noise as I’ve complained several times. Lots of moldy areas also throughout the apartment I was in and that combined with the smoke smell, good luck breathing if you have asthma or copd! They sprayed our apartment one afternoon for the bug issue when it was 90+ degrees outside and told us we couldn’t go into the apartment due to fumes and it was conveniently after we got off work and I had groceries in the car and had picked our 3 year old up from day care after work and had no diaper bag bc it was inside. Look elsewhere before you come to this place. Since I moved they are trying to slam me with a whole months rent when I moved out being month to month! I’ve never had this happen and I’ve been renting for 8 years!! Sad excuse for an apartment complex!

Hi there, thank you so much for your positive comments about The Forge at Alum Creek! Thanks again for the recommendation, and have an amazing day!
Where do I even start. After living here for over a year and a half, and being unimpressed, we were forced to move out of our unit to move into a renovated one and pay 150 more a month in rent. Here is the incredibly long list of problems we've had in the last few days upon moving into our new unit: -We were delayed on more than one occasion within a week of moving, resulting in us living in our old apartment out of boxes for 2 months unsure of when they were going to move us, AND paying renters insurance on an apartment we didn't live in, because they told us we had to get it, then delayed us multiple times - our bath tub leaks into our kitchen. - our ceiling fan is literally HANGING BY ITS WIRES -multiple lights/switches/plugs aren't wired correctly and don't work -multiple doors that don't function properly -multiple broken windows -the paint job is terrible - the drywall mud wasn't sanded before painting, and in many places, isn't even painted over at all -our dishwasher drain hose wasn't connected, and leaked all over our cabinet. I had to fix that one myself -multiple broken windows, with either cracked glass or broken hardware, causing the windows to fall if you open them. -at least 5 damaged or disfunctional doors, which either are impossible to open, or don't close -at least 2 leaking window frames, causing water damage to the paint (maintenance keeps claiming it's from the paint running when they painted, but it clearly isnt) -the freshly painted walls are dirty and gross, covered in handprints from the renovation team, and god knows what else. -no window sills -busted sidewalk right outside front door, which has already caused a friend, who also lives in the neighborhood, to fall and injure his ankle - the carpet wasn't tacked correctly, and the tack is sticking out of the carpet in multiple places, stabbing you in the foot if you step on it -missing and damaged screens in the windows. I could keep going on and on about the issues here, or the ones that they refused to fix at our last unit, but you get the idea. I did apartment maintenance and renovation for 2 companies over the span of 6 or 7 years, and would've been fired on the spot had I left any of the units I worked on looking the way this one looks. We're extremely disappointed, and wish we hadn't even moved in here. We're paying 150 more in rent to live in a smaller apartment than the one we had, full of broken things that don't function.

Thank you for sharing your feedback here. We are glad to have you as a resident and we apologize your move to your newly renovated apartment home did not go as smoothly as possible. The delay you experienced was not acceptable and we are working closely with the renovation team so this does not occur going forward. We also strive to provide quality living and want to address the concerns you have above. We encourage you to contact our Property Manager at 614-810-8431 so we have an opportunity to make this right. Thank you.
I really should have read the reviews carefully! Started the application process online going off what the above information said . Called the next day to find out there are no apartment available on the move in date it quoted me on the company’s website . And the application fee has already cleared my checking account ??. Still waiting on a call back from the rental office . And of course I tried to check online and its frozen . I have a feeling they are going to call me back after my quote expires and I am out the application fee that cleared my bank by some miracle within 12 hours . Don’t ever do application online info on page not correct.
Management is great, maintenance is great, not when it comes to parking, it is a disaster. I've been here 4 years and I've been surrounded by inconsiderate neighbors with multiple cars who leave no space for others like me who only have one car. The description here said "assigned parking" and that's not the case. I wish it was that way when I come home with my trunk full of groceries I'd always have a front parking instead of having 3 cars from the same apartment invading my space.
Just moved in. For the price this place just can't be beat. A little dated, but hey it nice and quite. And close enough to everything but far enough for quiet. Has the best school system around!
Outside of columbus close to airbase. Quite area but very old not remolded.
far but not too far from downtown. i would recommend these
