Property Ratings at The Life at Lexington Square
They will show you a show room for an apartment. I promise this place is horrible. I lived here for 3 years, sewage lines would break and come through my bath tub and faucets. Infestation of animals outside, bugs inside, dark, depressing, and HORRIBLE management. DO NOT rent here. Also some violent crime picked up when I was on my way out.

It was an easy process to get an apartment, my apartment is bright and full of sunshine. The outside could be kept cleaner, but I am hoping this will improve once it gets warmer outside.

They are doing a good job getting this place put back together. There are security cameras and they are repaying the pavement and parking lines. They are also painting stir Wells. They have been doing a lot of work around here that has been needed a long time. I think they are doing a good job!

I wouldnt recommend this apartment for anyone with the current management in place. There is also a rat infestation, the pool hasn't been available all year, and everything in the gym is broken.

Great front office last company that owned it missed placed my rent and they really help me out getting that issue resolved
Recently relocated from 9 hours away and this was the best experience I’ve had moving. Chamari was a huge help, very patient with me and even volunteered help to help me get here safely. This has been an amazing experience!!
Like the other reviews, I can confirm that these apartments are roach and mice infested. We have asked them to address it several times, and nothing has been done. Forget contacting the owners of the property, they never answer or get back to you. This has been the absolute worst apartment that we have ever been in, hands down. People are leaving weekly because of the living conditions. Want a pool? Forget that too. It's in the middle of summer and its still empty. I genuinely feel bad for the children in the complex.

My husband and have been living here for almost a year and we have had so many problems with it. Our sinks in the kitchen and bathroom stop up with back wash from other apartments, and underneath both sinks are horrible with water damage which ruins anything you put underneath there. Maintenance is HORRIBLE. No one ever shows up, and management next answers. Bath tub is rusted with cracks and mold, and tiles falling in. ROACHES and MICE everywhere!!! We beg for them to come spray and it only happens once a year. And they are raising the rent… not worth it!!!

This is really the place to experience the real life at Lexington.,.,.,.
We were shown a staging apartment that was pretty nice, so naturally we were excited about it. We were given an apartment with holes in the walls, kicked in walls, dirty carpet, and a fridge that was not cooling and leaking, that also has a mouse and ant problem. Bottom line, I would not recommend these apartments. When trying to contact property management, or even the property owners, you will get no contact back or any communications.

The maintenance and office staff are very helpful and caring about me and my family about any issues we have in our home.
I am very pleased with the maintenance and staff here. Thanks, Cj Keyys Haltiwanger, resident
I’d encourage others not to live here. The property is unclean and poorly maintained. Maintenance doesn’t respond to requests in a timely manner and management doesn’t seem to care about the residents.
This is the absolute worst place I’ve ever lived. It should really be condemned. The ceilings leak every time it rains or snows. Nothing will stay plugged into the loose outlets. The floor is so rotten that you can feel the floor joist because the subfloor is completely gone. Maintenance is absolutely worthless. They recently changed management companies which is apparently just a way for them to avoid accountability. Even with all of the issues not being fixed, they’ve decided to increase the rent to take advantage of people even more.
Maintenance is horrible, apartments are in bad shape, open to Transient traffic, weekly break ins of vehicles, stolen packages, no privacy or security
The New Management and Maintenance Team is very professional and they did follow-up calls to make sure my requests were complete and My family and I are Very Satisfied. -CJ
I have lived here a little over a year and I completely agree with the last 3 horrible reviews. No maintenance that knows how to fix anything. Our kitchens floor was so rotted due to the roof leaking that I was scared for my 5YO to walk on it in fear it was going to completely fall threw. The bathroom has mold all over the shower area. Stink bugs EVERYWHERE. Mailbox don’t lock. They would sit our packages on top of the mailboxes for anyone to take as they wish. They had the constable put a note on my door saying they were going to tow my car due to it leaking oil— except it was not leaking oil AT ALL. The wiring in the entire apartment is totally messed up, I’m surprised the whole complex has not burned down. In order for my bathroom lights to work, you have to have something plugged into one of my daughters bedroom outlets. Not to mention ALL OF THE outlets in the entire apt are loose and nothing stays plugged in unless you tape the cord in. (Which is another fire hazard I’m sure) The roof leaks in multiple places EVERYTIME it rains or snows melting. The AC has not worked since we been here …. Finally got sick of asking for them to fix it and just bought 3 window units which increased our electric bill. The swimming pool is about the only good thing about this raggedy place but don’t get excited because it was closed more days than it was open last year so we only got to enjoy that about 10-15x all summer. Like above person said— better off being homeless or couch surfing that living in this dump! RUNNNNNNNN ?????
This place is a joke. All they care about is money. Ive watched the old property manager evict someone and LAUGH about it during a pandemic. Its disgusting. Ive went through like four property managers and it hasnt even been a year. Ive only been here for seven months. The pictures for the website are complete lies too.
The Summit at Lexington gives sleeping on the street a run for it’s money on which would be the worse situation. Writing out all the issues we had during the 9 months we lived there would be too much to read, so in bullet points, here are the most glaring issues. - Constant heating and AC issues - Standing water in the laundry room along with dryers that, according to maintenance, are “electrified and could potentially shock you when using them”. - Major damage to most balconies with birds nesting in the roof. - Complete lack of communication with management in regards to having issues fixed - Missing work due to the parking lot not being cleared/salted during the ice storm - Front door did not completely close, causing drafts that increased electricity usage - Mailboxes that did not lock, and packages not being given to residents - Being charged double rent one month and management refusing to issue refunds I would not live in this complex unless the only other option for you is couch surfing, and even then your heat will most likely work and there probably won’t be flying bugs all over the apartment. The price for this apartment seems to good to be true, and it absolutely is.
We’ve been here almost a year and unfortunately for personal reasons we have to renew our lease which I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT! Our A/C stopped working 3 times before they finally decided to get professionals out here to replace the entire unit. And because of that our electric bill shot up $100… do we get some kind of reimbursement? Of course not and I didn’t bother asking because these ppl are a joke. It takes them months to come fix things their excuses are because they’re too busy with other maintenance request but there wouldn’t be so many if they would fix things and actually know what they’re doing… There has been probably 5 different maintenance men over here and like I said it’s almost been a year…. And now they have the AUDACITY to raise the rent but don’t feel the need to fix things and make sure their tenants are satisfied. I do not recommend at all. I forgot to mention when we first moved in the place wasn’t even fully ready and they did not clean like they were supposed to. The bedroom door has a hole and that only got fixed because I said something about it. There was a patch of the carpet missing …. The previous tenant had a dog or cat the office knew nothing about it and when I asked to get the carpet cleaned again they seemed surprised when i mentioned the pet hair that I’m severely allergic to they assured me there were no pets but obviously there was it was all over our socks and on our bed sheets….. I don’t recommend it’s not worth the money
I currently live at this apartment complex and they have gone through so many different management companies in the past two years that I have lived here. In the past year, our water has been shut off 4 times with no warning from management at all. I have mold growing on my bedroom wall and window ceils. They is a major stink bug problem that they do not try to fix. Maintenance is very lazy and they do not fix anything. You can put in a request and they won’t even come and look at it. These apartments are very out dated and run down. There are cats everywhere that sit on your car and the police is always at the complex due to fighting. Look elsewhere if you can.
