Property Ratings at The Lindley
I moved out a while ago (thank GOD!!!). This rent was a blind rent (so partially my fault). Management is SUPER DUPER nice before you rent and up until you sign the lease. After signing the lease, expect radio silence, even if you have concerns or reach out. The sound that comes from your neighbors upstairs is disgustingly disturbing. In the 12 months of living there, I could hear EVERY single step from my neighbors living above. There is no elevator and 2 washers and 2 dryers for the entire building. Something I also was not aware of until many months after I moved in was the fact that many units are rented out via AIRBNB so there are always strangers coming in and out and I will say, not all of them were nice. Definitely a safety concern. I would only live here again if there were no other options. OH and you pay for heat because it is electricity not gas. Good luck if youre living on a higher floor because there are No elevators either.
I just moved in to this building on a 6 month lease. Unless you are renting a unit on the top floor, please know there is considerable noise from upstairs units. Building was renovated but has no noise abatement. There is very loud noise of boards and nails rubbing against each other. I was excited to move here as it is nice and a good location, but the hours of extremely loud squeaking floors have ruined it for me. I wanted to share this to make any future tenants aware in case you are planning on sleeping, working from home, or just relaxing.
