Less than 20 miles east of Phoenix, the city of Mesa is Arizona’s third-largest city and is home to nearly half a million residents. The low cost of living, affordable apartments, and family-friendly environment make Mesa a highly sought-after suburb in Arizona’s suburban desert. Although Mesa sits within a short distance of Phoenix – making it the ideal location for commuters – many residents work inside the city of Mesa itself for local employers in the medical, aerospace, and retail industries.
Mesa locals take advantage of the city’s constant sunshine, whether they’re catching a Cactus League ball game at Hohokam Stadium or tubing down the Salt River. The surrounding desert landscape is extremely popular with mountain bikers, hikers, and campers. The scenery is truly unbeatable, especially in the sprawling Tonto National Forest to the northeast.
This town is rather quiet, with a focus on community and local history, rather than a bustling nightlife scene.

Property Ratings at The Link
I accidentally broke the window in the front of my apartment this morning. Called and maintenance came and removed the window. Leaving me with no window all day. Then told me that it did not constitute an emergency and would not be fixed tonight
The water doesn't work properly half the time and there are so many drug addicts around going to the laundry room at night you are almost guaranteed to see someone shooting up in there.
First roaches (ongoing), then AC out. First leak in bath ceiling, then in kitchen (origins unknown). Now sewer backup floods 2 inches of filth EVERYWHERE! All this in 12 days! STAY AWAY!

My husband and I are current residents we have lived here 2 years. Now with New Management taking over rent is going up and we will have to pay for Utilities also with a monthly pet fee. And pets must be spayed or neutered. With the price of rent going up there are no Basketball Courts,Gym for the price. No Security,Cameras do not work. Was told Gates would be fixed still broken. Cars have been Vandalized, Lots of Homeless and Drug Activity in back apartments. For Security says Manager on site there is no manager after office closes.

My wife and I moved into the Warren Properties apartment complex with our one year old a few months ago, and we're glad we did. For our two bedroom, one bath apartment with all utilities included, we pay about $750 a month. Which in Arizona is a steal because in the house that my wife and I lived in prior to this apartment, the electric bill was at least $250 a month during the summer, so it evens out nicely. The inside was refurbished recently before we moved in, the floors are linoleum from the kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, and hallway. I've never been a big fan of linoleum but it looks just like hardwood, when the grandparents come over to spend time with our son, they still think its actually hardwood. There's also carpet in the bedrooms, which are also a great size as well. The room that we have our son in is also big enough for a 2nd crib for our next son that is due in a few weeks! With mention of the kids its safe to say that the complex is pretty child friendly, most of our neighbors have young kids themselves. There's a little, but new, playground over by the pool that my wife and I take a kid to regularly, in the morning of course before it gets too hot outside. We were able to bring our dog with us, and there was a $300 dollar pet deposit fee, but the best part is that there isn't a monthly fee added onto you rent, just the one time deposit. Management is also one of the best parts of the complex. Kevin is the manager that's always on duty and definitely makes you feel welcomed when you walk around. Any issues that you do end up having, you can go straight to him and he takes care of it no problem. There are a lot of places to go nearby, mainly the Mesa River View shopping plaza, where you can find any store you could ever want, movie theatres, etc. There's also this amazing little pizza place right down the street called Zios, that you'll have to try out. And if you're a college student, Mesa Community College is about 5-10 minute drive, and ASU is 10-15 mins. All in all Warren Properties is worth coming to check out of you're looking for a place to live that gives you a bang for you buck.
