Property Ratings at The Lodge at Crossroads
Pros: maintenance staff are awesome, great community of residents, convenient and pretty location, smoke free, nature, pool, nice dog park, nice quiet apartments. Carlos is a saint. Cons: Horrible “apartment manager” can be very cruel and irresponsible to the staff and residents, management/leasing office is understaffed and disorganized, no recycling, trash compactor is a health hazard, mail disappears, rent is skyrocketing (but quality is going down). Upper management really needs to get it together.
I feel like apartment reviews are so harsh. If you're that picky and particular then buy a home. Despite the sky rocketing rent costs in the area, I've really enjoyed living here for the past 2.5 years. It is very quiet, people are respectful and maintenance is great about fixing any issues. They're also super nice. Fernando, the manager of the property, is lovely. I wish they advertised more community events. (They're good about posting on Facebook but not everyone has social media.) Overall, I enjoy this place and plan on continuing to stay. It's also in a great location and within walking distance to a few shopping centers!

Thank you for the 4 stars! We appreciate the feedback and are happy to hear that you have been enjoying your time here in the community. Thank you for giving our team a shout-out and being a wonderful neighbor!
Unfortunately the apartments are not worth the rent cost, lots of upgrades needed that management doesn’t approve per maintenance staff. Office staff has terrible communication, don’t respond timely to emails or concerns and don’t answer the phone when they tell you to call instead (to avoid paper trail). Mostly college students that are allowed to leave garbage everywhere, make noise and smoke marijuana in the apartments so not family friendly. Maintenance complimented how great I kept the apartment and no issues what’s so ever with his pre-check so high anxiety over office getting deposit back since several residents mentioned they are notorious for keeping our money. Many residents are going to the media about the issues at this location and have advised me to do so as well. Keeping fingers crossed they are human and realize we’re going through a pandemic and rely on our efforts at the compliancy of their multiple rules and requirements and met all of their needs.

It's great to hear you're loving your home at the Lodge at Crossroads! Thanks for recognizing our team and sharing your experience.
It's just ok. I'm not impressed or unimpressed. The construction is interesting as I can hear every movement of my upstairs neighbors. Every. Single. Movement. Lawn maintenance happens twice a week it seems like and they use a power blower on everything including your front door and hallway so it's loud, so so loud. But at least it looks ok? As a result, its always a bit noisy between my neighbors and the complex itself. I work from home so I find these things more annoying compared to the average tenant. The parking is horrible and limited number of spots for the multiple bedroom units. But it's nice that we're so close to a greenway that is decently maintained and it's easy access to I-40.

Thank you for your feedback. Because we're unable to determine your identity in order to reach out to you directly, please call or drop by the office at your earliest convenience to speak with our community manager. We'll then do everything we can to assist you in alleviating your upstairs neighbor noise issue. We'll also meet with our landscaping foreman to ensure our landscapers avoid blowing debris toward residents' doors. Finally, we have garages for rent for $100/month if you're interested in securing a guaranteed, assigned parking spot. We look forward to working together to improve your living experience! Sincerely, The Lodge at Crossroads Team
We've only been here a few months, but in that time we have enjoyed the apartment! It's in an awesome location, pet friendly, staff is nice, apartments are nice, the property is clean, and it was the most affordable place we could find without compromising the quality of living! Sometimes parking can be a pain but overall we are very happy with our decision :)

Thank you for your wonderful review! We are glad you are enjoying your new home at The Lodge at Crossroads!
First I would like to say that Valecia is amazing! Her personality and smile brightens anyone’s day, not to mention she has that heavy New York accent. I first came to the Lodge when there was another female manager. I came recently to retour and Valecia wasn’t there, someone came from the back and asked if I needed help only to tell me to have a seat and wait for someone to help me. I thought that was odd, being that no one else was in there and she could have helped me. She went back to her office as I would assume and never came back out. Valecia came back from her tour and immediately helped me. Because of her I would rent there, but if I have to deal with anyone else other than her, I would be highly disappointed. I’m sure the lady that came out was the property manager which she was very unhelpful. What good was she? I would recommend a manager that supports their team, instead of waiting for her employees to return to the office. I felt like she was too busy and what was in her office was more important. I would reccomend this place but I wish Valecia was the manager. I’ve only dealt with her and only want to deal with her or the other young lady that sits out there with her.

I lived there for 3 months, while transitioning from Texas to our new home in North Carolina. I felt very comfortable and at home at the Lodge. Very nice place to live! Management does an awesome job, the place is nice and neat everywhere! I highly recommend the Lodge!

Thank you for the fabulous review and recommendation!! Your kind words mean the world to us!
Just want to warn you that when you move out you WILL be responsible for replacing the carpet for the next tenant! Maintenance request go unanswered and front office staff are rude when asked any questions. Rent can not be paid online like most other places and you have to watch your bill closely each month for inaccuracy. Yes, the apartments are nice but not worth the rent or the hassle of dealing with management. Do yourself a favorite and rent elsewhere.
I have lived here for a little while now. I am a current tenant of the complex and have had some issues with items. 1)My last complex was very nice at letting everyone know when things happened, no matter what it may be. They would send you e-mails quite regularly with all sorts of information, good or bad. Here, you're just another person giving them money. Which is unfortunate because the apartments are nice, the grounds are decent and the parking is great for where I am. 2)Another flaw is the trash/recycling bin. This is a large community and they only have one. Every time I drive over to recycle something it is overflowing. They could do the easy thing and contact Waste Management to have them pick up more than once/twice a week, but that would be too easy. Another option would be to have a second recycling bin. Also, seeing what people leave at the recycling location makes me feel I live in a community of morons. I've seen televisions, chairs, mattresses and much more. Many items that are beyond NOT recyclable. Again, the community as a whole is quite nice. Just some issues that are easily taken care of if anyone cared to do so.
omg where have these been.wonder size.pets ok.price is great.close to the mall and stores, every thing o nice and a pool...a pool.Sound like my new home and can't wait to move in..where do I sign?
Hello, I have lived at the lodge for a year which was last year. It is the best area and the best apartment that I have ever live. Currently I live with a frien I don't have a job to move back there but as soon as I can afford to rent an apartment the lodge at crossroads will be my first choice.
The Lodge at Crossroads is a haven for our family. After many years of homeownership, we were looking to simplify our lives. The Lodge helped us do that. We called rather last minute for a viewing and were shown the property by a friendly and welcoming employee. We were very impressed with the aesthetics of the place. Another huge benefit for us is that this place is central to everything we do. It is easy to access and we can get to work and school in just a few minutes. We have now been here for a month and a half and remained very pleased. It is a dog-friendly place that connects to the Cary Greenway and has a lovely lake as well. Our apartment is spacious with a lot of natural light. It is exactly what we were looking for.
