Property Ratings at The Lodge at River Park
The Lodge at River Park is a beautiful property with multiple trees, exercise gym, RIVER ACCESS, bark park, resort-style pool, movie theatre, and more! I have lived here for about 3-years and could not be happier! The leasing office is always helpful and responsive!

Thank you so much for your glowing review of our community & amenities! We're thrilled to hear that you've been enjoying everything we have to offer. Creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for our residents is our top priority, and we're delighted that our amenities have contributed to your positive experience here. Whether it's our fitness center, pool, clubhouse, or any other amenity, we're committed to providing top-notch facilities that enhance your lifestyle and make you feel right at home.
We have lived at the Lodge for almost a year now and have only had a few minor maintenance requests, but when we do the maintenance crew responds extremely quick and is very helpful. Recently, I submitted a maintenance request at 9 pm at night and they were there by 9 am the next morning and solved the problem right there. Thank you Lodge maintenance team!
Pet owners: If you have a pet, I would advise to not choose The Lodge at River Park as your home. Recently they required everyone to create a pet profile for pet screening which cost us $25. What they didn’t explain is that the profile would then be used to to raise our pet rent from $20 a month to $30-$50. For some reason, which they deny to explain is why my pet rent went to the full $50. I called every complex on this street and their pet rent ranges from $15-$20 a month. This complex and Harbor Group Management is not in the business of customer service with their tenants. They are only in the business to make money. I could write a book of complaints about the corporate management here, the high ratings actually surprise me.
If you’re looking to have access to a pool The Lodge is probably not the place for you. They don’t open the pool until late May, which is much later than the other complexes in the immediate area. The pool has already been shut down twice this summer for days at a time. It is currently closed and has been for nearly a week. Re-opening the pool should be a top priority since we have been experiencing triple digits daily since June and since residents are paying for this amenity.
Property Manager at The Lodge at River Park, Responded To This Review
We sincerely apologize for the closure of this amenity. Unfortunately, there was some damage done to the pool and at this time it is not safe to use. Safety is one of our top priorities when it comes to our residents. We are in the process of repairing the damage and will reopen the pool as soon as possible.
The Lodge is run by caring ownership who hires competent people to keep the complex running in an efficient way. The staff is quick to take care of any needs which may arise. Buildings and grounds are clean, pretty and safe. I have lived here seven years and I am renewing for another one. I really enjoy my home at The Lodge.

I have been living at the Lodge for over a year now and could not be happier about my decision. With close access to I30 and the new Chisholm Trail Parkway, getting around is a breeze. This beautiful complex backs right up to the Trinity Trails so jogging, biking, or walking a dog are literally right out my doorstep. Management is friendly and supportive; I have always had a quick response to any question or need. The tenants are friendly and the grounds are well kept. I feel safe as well. But my favorite thing about The Lodge at River Park is my floor plan. It is bright and spacious and feels more like a house than an apartment. I would recommend this as a wonderful place to call home.
The management staff, (especially Lace) were very helpful during our moving process as we were moving in from out of state. She kept us in the loop at all times regarding availability, things that we may like, and even took time to show the place to friends of ours in the area so that we would not have to move in blindly. Upon getting here and moving in things are a little different. First off our apartment was most certainly not cleaned prior to us moving in. It was very dirty and needed to be deep cleaned before we could move our things in. Secondly, when we got here the secure access gates were broken. The drive in one is now fixed however the trail access one has been broken for many months. Thirdly, the gym area is mainly for show as many of the equipment does not work and has not worked for many months according to other residents. Many of the answers that you get from the office staff regarding things needing to be fixed are very vague and passive in answering questions. Maintenance crews are very respectful, clean, and timely. When we placed work orders it normally does not take more than a day for it to be completed. The community is very nice and quiet. The many trees make it feel homey in the big city.
Real estate is all about location. These apartments are no exception. Located on a quiet street, between an assisted living center and another apartment complex, The Lodge at Riverpark is easily accessible without being a high-traffic area. It's close to all the major highways of the big city, while still feeling like suburbia. The neighborhood is fully developed with lots of older shade trees. With gated access to the Trinity Trails, it's the perfect location for bikers, runners, and anyone looking to take a leisurely stroll. In the Spring of 2016, a new planned development will open across the river that will be anchored by a Whole Foods and include other community aspects like an outdoor pavilion and a Zoe's Kitchen. Apartment residents will be able to use pedestrian, low-water bridges to get to the new development on foot or by bicycle. It will have the convenience of walking distance with the sound and traffic buffer of the Trinity River. The apartment units themselves are cozy and have plenty of closet space. Appliances and countertops could use some updating, though. Floor plans range from one to three bedrooms and include washer and dryer. The apartments advertise a variety of amenities to draw new residents: sand volleyball courts, pool with spa, fitness center, gated community, tanning bed, movie theater, and party area that includes a pool table. At first glance, it all looks fine. Upon further inspection you will discover that approximately half of the cardio equipment in the fitness center is out of order and stays that way. The pool consistently has leaves at the bottom, and the spa makes bubbles but doesn't heat up. The net on the sand volleyball court tends to sag, and the court itself has grass growing in it. Inside, there is only one pool cue with a good tip. The drive-thru gates are often broken and remain open, defeating the purpose of a gated community. The gate to the Trinity Trails is supposed to lock, too, but it doesn't, leaving the property vulnerable there as well. Pets are allowed and evidence of them are everywhere, even though there are doggy-doo stations and a dog park on the grounds. Management does nothing to alleviate the mess. There's also a feral cat population. Maintenance guys are friendly and respond to requests in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, they often have to be called back for the same problem more than once because the initial "quick fix" didn't last. Great location with sub-par management.
We lived here for 1 full year, and had a great experience. We had a first floor, one bedroom apartment near the pool. The apartment was very nice from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The location is just far enough from the city and just close enough to all of the shopping and grocery stores. The trinity trails right behind the apartment complex are awesome for walking, running, and biking. There is a dog park in the rear of the complex as well. The maintenance staff was on top of their game the whole time. They completed all service requests within a day or so after requested. Our service ranged from fixing our dryer to doing some pest control. The front desk staff and managers are all friendly and very helpful. We had a very easy time getting along with them, and they are cordial and speedy with their responses to our needs. They worked with us in the beginning and helped us out with some of the initial fees and costs. Our only suggestion is that they update their equipment in the gym. Some of the treadmills aren't working and there isn't any leg equipment. One of the tv's volume isn't working either. They have been informed of this but haven't done anything as of yet. The gym is overall a pretty good size and is kept nice and cold. The free weights are up to 50 lbs which is usually plenty for an apartment gym. Overall, my wife and I would definitely recommend the lodge at river park for you and your family!
The Lodge at River Park is amazing. It is extremely similar to the next door Canyons, with most of the same amenities, yet a fraction of the cost. The interiors are beautiful, I have not needed maintenance to come out once. It is a very quiet location, away from the train which is hard to get in southwest Fort Worth. The complex is right on the Trinity River and is so convenient to be able to walk out back a go for a run on the river, which I have never felt unsafe doing. Parking is never an issue, I don't always get directly in front of my apartment but it is never far. The valet trash service is great, one of my favorite amenities. Management is great too, always very willing to work with you. Now the few things I don't like.... The gates seem to be broken quite a bit, and the walk through gate at the river is NEVER locked, which is a little unnerving. The gate remote I received only works for the gates on the right side of the complex and the mailboxes are only located on the left side of the complex so that's a little inconvenient. The apartment gym is decent. Lots of arm weight machines, but no leg ones, three treadmills but only one works and is usually occupied. Those would be my only complaints, none of which are major or should deter you from renting here. I definitely recommend The Lodge! I've loved my time here and am only leaving because I now work in Dallas and the drive is terrible.
