I recently toured this property my lease is up in December and I loved the atmosphere when I walked in the office I was acknowledged when I walked in the door, toured the amenities which were beautiful. Tristan was awesome and very convincing and then two ladies when walked both very professional and I was acknowledged again and he told me that was his managers. I have to submit my app 30 days prior but I am looking forward to move here. I forgot to mention apartments was great and I love it comes with washer and dryer full size and not connections.

Run! The management sucks! Old appliances that house cockroaches. Going into the kitchen is a nightmare and disgusting: Cockroaches on your washed dishes in the dishwasher disgust you? Then open a drawer and see cockroaches on your spoon.
There very nice people and friendly to help with any questions.
If you like to cook along side if cockroaches, welcome! You have found the place. It has been 6 months, I have been emailing, contacting whatever I could, nothing! No help! They claim that they send you pest controller, but they are not doing a single thing to get rid of those nasty pest.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the condition of the place. The management has proven to be inadequate as they not only charged me $90 for NSF but also applied a late fee on top of it. What's even more frustrating is that they charged me an additional late fee for the late fee itself. Additionally, I provided them with a money order for keys replacement, but after seven months of continuous back-and-forth, I realized they were deceiving me. When I requested a refund, they claimed that my money order had been used to cover some of my previous bills that am not aware of. It's quite unbelievable, especially considering the lack of progress made in replacing the key despite all the communication and effort I put into it.
I cannot wait until my lease is up! Living here have been very stressful and raised my anxiety! For starters the person who sold me the apt lied and then mysteriously moved away as soon as I bought the apt, then everything I said I didn’t want this apt had it. Next, I can never find parking spots near my apt. Since day one I have always had to park builds down and walk with a toddler to my apt . Which bring me to the safety factor, the gate stayed broken so anyone could come on property that didn’t live there and take up parking spaces. Next it’s literally just one set of trash dumpsters for the whole complex. so just image the filth that happens onsite. Next the management sucks . Like they all need to go to some workshop and learn how to handle working/owning a apt. Finally the way you pay rent is they way the did ages ago when cards weren’t invented. So get ready to pull ur checks out or stand in line to get money orders because that’s the only way to pay. Bottom line. I wouldn’t waste my time. (I literally could go on and on about this 1 star rating facility) but I would just invest spending that money at a more forever home like apt. Place that actually takes care of their tenants and not just worry about a check.
I lived at the west oaks a year ago i was getting letters from the office that there were break ins almost every month..and one time i woke up to noise on my balcony..it was a woman in my balcony over our window shushing a guy saying it's the wrong apartment..that was scary around 4am.. That is one thing..the other horrible thing you have to worry about every night you go home that there isn't enough parking spaces..it's a hassle every night..I'd have to park to park very far away from my apartment and walk at night carrying my baby and groceries most of the time..and the other bad thing in this place is the office especially the male there..he is very rude snd unhelpful....and the worst thing is they make you buy insurance that doesn't cover your paint and maintaining the apartment after you leave..so you buy insurance every year you are there and when you leave they chase with painting and cleaning fees..even send them to collection agencies...i already paid $500 insurance...they want another $500 to paint the place...out of their minds.....BEWARE
This apartment has a roach problem and all kind of break in! Break into peoples car, apartment. And management is not worried about their resident safety ask really don’t care.
Dont lease this beautiful building but dont care about residences staff and right worst parking space any apartment in this catergories managment dont work on your complains only after your rent check at all... WORST WORST TERRIBLE PARKING SPACE ..FOR BOTH RESIDENCES AND VISTIORS...managment wants you to be paying for parking space with roof or pay for parking garges ..... dont to care or act on your complains that is the type of management they have (only interested in your rent check every other things like parking ,security they CARE LESS ) only want your vehicle to be towed by wreckers i blame my self for leasing this apartment ..... Praying to find my way out
We’ve lived in this property for almost three years. The management at the time of our lease failed to communicate key details and consistent responses to questions...which caused a delay at move-in and different floor plan. I learned this is a theme. The maintenance crew are fantastic and responsive. The property itself is pretty well maintained. Rent itself seems on par with the current market. ISSUE: MANAGEMENT. They are becoming increasingly clever at finding ways to inconvenience residents and provide as little customer service as possible. Couple of new examples... PARKING: Visitor parking is extremely difficult, as is, while there is a plethora of parking spots available. We learned they are now seeking to place 2 hour limits before being towed. Have your friends and family Uber, I guess, to be safe. MAIL: The office used to accommodate and hold packages. We learn they are working to eliminate that service entirely. I suspect retention is not a benchmark for the owners or management. Best of luck to you!
I do not recommend this property. I've lived here 4 years and it's just not worth it. The office staff is subpar. They have horrible customer service skills. Your maintenance requests go unanswered for days. Trash is all over the parking lot every morning. Residents and their guests smoke weed in the parking lot, leaving their remnants behind. The gate is often broken. There is a letter on your door at least every quarter stating there was a crime, but just deal with it because it happens everywhere. To think they have the audacity to go up on your rent every year as if you are seeing improvements. If you ask me, there should be reductions to get you to stay.
Neighbors upstairs... constant feet pounding even at midnight, 2 am, and throughout the normal day. Just my apt, but staff does nothing. Pot smoke smell from ventillation system in my apartment from neighbors smoking pot. One Neighbour smoke pot on patio. Different neighbor smokes pot right outside my apartment on the common area stairs. Called the courtesy officer... no answer. Even when they do answer, there is never anything done excite except a note on the door of whole building. Passive aggressive notes... Rly? Elementary school is okay at best, and the middle school is very poor. Our teacher had so many normal school meetings that she was hardly in the class room. Please don't live here, especially if you have kids, or if you want to be around people who have common courtesy. Staff is nice, but useless.
I lived at the lodge at west oaks for 1 year now since 5/15 to present.... I live on the 3rd floor towards the back of the apartments.... I really do love it here, im a mother of 2 teenage girls so where I live safety is important....I have had no problems living here... Now there is a slight roach problem but I was able to get rid of them with boric acid powder.... It do flood a little in the back of the apt when it rains but it goes away as fast as the rain stop.... Now the dumpster is sometimes too full so we have to put our trash out side next to it...but this only happens on the weekends on sunday ....by Monday its all gone...the pool is beautiful... I love the trees around the apts but for some reason they are trimming them down....maybe for after winter care.... I wish they would keep them there..... I never had a problem with office staff they are usually very nice to me and my girls.... Compare to the other Apts around here I think I'm getting a fare deal..... I live in the back so parking is never an issue...its nice on the inside, I have a fire place and a book shelf.... Not a lot of kids running around outside its pretty quiet.... My neighbors are all nice... But we all don't talk much just hi and bye... The best part is my huge patio I really love it..... Now the gates are broken sometimes.... But it doesnt take to long to fix it... Havent heard of any break ins since ive been here....my least is almost up...and yes I would be resigning it...... I've had no problems so far...maintenance is there if I need them on time...... My girls and I are safe that's makes me happy....hope this help anyone researching the right apt to live in...I been there...
The location is fine. However the manager has no manners to speak. She increases the rent without any information. Not cooperative at all.
I lover the area and the property . The property is updated with new appliance and bathroom features. I have no complaints.
This apartment has cats trash and roaches all over the place and it took the building 1 month to fix our roach problem

My apartment is not the most luxurious apartment , with granite counter tops and all the other nice amenities they have today, but management make sure the complex is happy ground. Happy ground just simply means clean everyday from trash and debris, beer cans, bottles not anywhere throughout the complex, very well maintained.
