Tucked into the mountains in the middle of the Coconino National Forest, Flagstaff encompasses everything fascinating about Arizona. It is in the shadow of the state's tallest mountain -- Humphreys Peak, and it is home to the Arizona Snowbowl Ski Resort. It is also near the Wupatki National Monument, Walnut Canyon National Monument, Meteor Crater, and Grand Canyon National Park. But while the outdoor adventures in Flagstaff range from hiking and mountain biking to snow skiing and snowboarding, this isn't just a resort city -- Flagstaff is home to Northern Arizona University, a top-ranked, public research university established in 1899.
Being home to one of the world's best universities is just the beginning. Flagstaff is also the location of the Lowell Observatory, one of the oldest observatories in the country, dating back to 1894. Considered one of the world's most important places, the observatory was where Pluto was discovered in 1930.

Property Ratings at The Lodge
I moved into the Lodge 1 year ago and it was the best decision I could have made! Have not had 1 problem with anything or anyone, the people in the office are great and very kind! When I first moved in parking was a concern but the whole time I have been here I haven’t had to worry about a park one time! 100% would recommend to anyone!

Wow, thank you so much for this incredible feedback! We are so happy to see you've had a great experience here. We appreciate the kind words about our community and hope you have an amazing day!
I am writing this review to warn others who are looking into the lodge, I know if I saw all these reviews beforehand I would have thought twice about renting here. Now I am also not making this to bash the lodge in anyway or to slander them. I am writing this to tell other renters what they are walking into. I rented from them for a year and I got nothing but issues. When we first moved in it reeked of cat urine, the mircowave didn't work, and one of the doors was broken. Now we logged all of this in the packet they gave us in the beginning to prove this was here before we moved in. Then later into out lease, our dryer broke and we called 7 times over the span of 2 months trying to get it fixed. Once we put in our 90 day notice I thought I was done with this place. But no, now they are trying to make my roommates and I pay for carpet replacement saying there is pet urine on it and that they found dog food in the carpet. Neither one of us had a pet, nor did we have pets over and the apartment had been vacant for 2 months. Just whatever you do, don't rent from here they will try and screw you the entire time.
Peaceful and quiet. Just wind blowing and sound birds chirping

Thank you for this wonderful 5-star review! We are so glad that you enjoy our peaceful community. We appreciate you and hope you will let us know if you need anything at all. Thanks again! - The Team at The Lodge Luxury Apartment Homes
Poor service and they will blame all issues on you when you move out... dont rent here there are better apartments for better prices in flag. Also their parking rules are ridiculous and will tow any car not following the rules to the letter
I had a year lease here. Probably the worst experience ever. It is poorly managed, maintenance crews don’t know what to do. Gave the front office my APS account info, but I never received any bills for 8-9 months. Now we owe a huge lump some but it’s still considered our fault. We also paid extra for A/C. But when we moved in it never worked. Call maintenance, they just told us to close out windows. We did, still didn’t work. They checked once again, turns out the whole AC unit is broken. One year in our unit and we didn’t have our AC. Asked for a reimbursement, they said there is nothing they can do, and that we were SOL basically. So think twice before choosing to live in “Luxury” apartments. Is it worth having problems with stuff in your unit weekly? Monthly? Think twice. Yeah
I wouldnt recommend living here. The intent of this review is not to slander or demean this property but to let people know what I experienced living there. The main challenges with this property are management-related. PARKING is a major concern at this complex. If you are not home by 6pm be prepared to park in the neighboring streets. Tenants often park their motorcycles in front of their cars and pull in behind them, hanging out into the parking lot aisles. Your one reserved spot will be taken by other tenants and the tow company the Lodge employs will not arrive for hours. Tenants rev their cars and race through the lot all night. Drive past the complex early in the morning, you can see cars parked in the main entry along red curbs, in "future tenant" spots, making any entry into the office impossible. WORK ORDERS are often ignored and not passed on to maintenance. An example of this is a call placed to the office regarding our neighbor's water heater, we called to request that someone come look at it as it was making a LOUD noise that really sounded like it was about to explode. The front desk told us they would call our neighbors and ask if they wanted maintenance to come look... We had to call multiple times to get them to come look and when they finally arrived he stated "oh wow this is really loud, you guys weren't kidding". The same comment was made about a clogged kitchen sink with 2 inches of standing water, we were told "oh wow it really is clogged"... as if we were making these complaints up. OFFICE STAFF/MANAGEMENT doesn't respect the tenants and talk down to you when you ask to speak to the office manager. Front desk staff do not pass on messages you leave and act like they are doing you a favor speaking to you. When we vacated our apartment at the end of our lease we had to wait 53 days to receive our deposit refund - in the state of Arizona, the law states they have 14 days to return this. Only upon threat of legal action did we magically receive the check immediately. A call to their attorney was also met with disrespect, despite having a solid foundation for legal recourse. Its clear that this complex takes advantage of college-aged tenants, hoping they wont stand up for themselves and forget about promises that were made moving in. I am not interested in receiving any response from the manager or property representative regarding my review of my time here. I am very happy to have finally received my deposit and be done with the Lodge.

Hello Stephanie, We appreciate you taking the time to review our community. First, we would like to, again, apologize for the delay on your check. As soon as you notified us you had not received it we immediately began steps to find out dates it was sent and verify the address it was sent to. Per ARS 33-1321 the move out statement and refund are mailed out thru First Class Mail and unfortunately there is no tracking the letter once its left with the post office via First Class Mail. I have reviewed the correspondence between yourself and my assistant manager and it appears that we responded to your emails and calls, most times the same business day, but if you feel we missed any of these correspondence I would ask you to reach out to me and we can review any missed items and address them right away. As I'm sure you are aware, we changed ownership and management in October and have since seen great improvement in work order response time, most work orders being responded to within 24 hours. Parking is and has been very limited at The Lodge. We are making every effort to enforce the parking policies and rules and remove unauthorized cars 24 hours a day quickly to help resolve the parking issues. We do appreciate you taking the time to review our community and would be happy to discuss any further issues you may have experienced so we can improve as we move forward. Please feel free to reach out by phone, email or schedule a time to stop by the office and I would be happy to discuss any suggestions for improvements you may have. Sincerely; Carrissa R. Community Manager The Lodge Luxury Apartments
I’m writing this review because of the complete lack of structure at the lodge. I called the office a day in advance to see if they had apartments for rent. They informed me that they had a few coming up. I let them know that we would be driving up from Phoenix on Saturday to go over what options were available and the said that would be fine. We arrived around noon to find one of their employees locking up the office. She informed me that she was the only person working and she was headed out to lunch and she’d be back in an hour. I thought this was slightly unprofessional to say we just drove 3 hours to look at their property. I took my family out to lunch, came back an hour and a half later and no one had returned to the office. Luckily I was able to sign a lease with another apartment complex but I was really disappointed that “The Lodge” would waste our time like that.

Hello, I'm the new manager of The Lodge, Carrissa. I'm sorry to hear you had a less than pleasant experience with visiting our community. I wanted to reach out and let you know we take your comments seriously and will improve based on what you have said. Please feel free to reach out to me if we can help in any other way. Sincerely; Carrissa R. Community Manager The Lodge Apartments
I lived at this apartment a few months and now completely regret signing a lease here. It's a complete bait and switch operation. When we were looking at this property as a place to move they were very friendly and accommodating. However in the last few months everything has changed. They had a open parking policy when I signed the lease. In the last month they've implemented a parking permit system. The first permit is free and they charge for the second one. My neighbor had some friends over later in the day after the office was closed and they were unable to obtain a parking permit. The next day they woke up to find their car had been towed. The overall upkeep of the property has gone down hill as well. Over flowing trash cans and garbage on the ground is the norm around here. A couple buildings down one of the tenants boarded up his window and stuck and air conditioning unit out of it, but for whatever reason management is fine with it. Needless to say I won't be renewing my lease when the time comes.

I lived at the Lodge for nearly 2 years and enjoyed every moment of it. The apartment was great with very nice amenities. The staff was very helpful and responsive whenever I had minor issues that I needed to resolve.
