The parking is insane with limited parking spaces. There are times it feels like a battlefield to get to a parking space before the next driver. Multiple cars take up two spaces given the vehicle size, along with the tail/front end protruding.
Let me prequel this with the fact that I generally don’t write reviews but I felt like I should in this case. That said… I wanted to wait a year to see how things went. With my youngest child renting the property. Let me validate my review… As a parent who is faced with the reality that your children will eventually “leave the nest” that time had come for our youngest to start college / work and the next chapter of their life. We looked at what seemed like a hundred properties with a few things on top of mind… First and foremost was safety with a close second being return on investment (ROI), amenities, close to all things, and lastly convience as well as access and this property has it all! The safety of the property ( key fob entrance into the building) sold me and the luxury side of this property is unreal… most properties don’t have marble entrance ways and elevators , well this one does and thank God for that on moving day… The clubhouse is beautiful, the pool, the dog park and just driving up to the property, you know it is well maintained. The staff has always been attentive and responsive to my child’s needs and that is few and far between these days and is super appreciated by parents that may be a few hours away so knowing your family is in good hands settles the mind as well as the soul. ( I say that as I my older children renting in other properties in the same area and have not had such good luck) The floorplans are laid out in a clean modern efficient manner with numerous to choose from so there looked to be something for any style one would prefer. All that said, my kid was more than happy to renew the lease! Thank you Lofts at Little Creek!

This place reeks of marijuana. It travels through the ventilation system. The vents must not have any separation. You can hear entire conversations of my neighbors through the air vents. My entire apartment fills with marijuana. You smell it in the stairwells, the hallways and elevators. The carpeting and mats throughout the building are soiled and never cleaned. The grills and outdoor areas are only open during the three months of summer. The walkways around the building reek of cigarettes and animal waste due to containers being placed too close to entrances.
Have been here almost a year and could not be happier. Amenities, people, walkability, staff, proximity to everything you could want or need. Plus beautiful apartments...well designed and appointed building., too.
My wife and I did not enjoy the management team here. The amenities are okay, but they require you to pay to use the common areas. During our stay, the complex manager was not welcoming at all. Despite advertising it as one, the management was not supportive of a pet-friendly environment. The pet fees continued to rise and the complex was sent periodical emails threatening to evict due to pet misconduct. In addition, we had a cockroach problem in our apartment. Overall, our room was okay and the location was a plus, but the current complex manager did not make our stay enjoyable. If I were to do it all over again, I definitely would not have chosen to live here because of her.
* THERE IS NO LEASE BREAK OPTION! “Death does not warrant a person out of there lease” according to management. * NOISE! I am sure this is totally normal for apartments, but geez!! The neighbors above me play music at just about all hours and I can hear every beat of the bass. I can hear everything else too - when they take a shower, I can hear (and smell) when they use the bathroom, I can hear when they WALK. I hear every footstep and every sound. Management has said “we cannot make a person levitate in there home”. No one asked you to make them levitate, but I’ll bet if there were ANY insulation or sound-proofing, I wouldn’t be able to hear normal footsteps of people in the apartment above me. * The building is not secure! The door has been propped open on multiple occasions – one time, it was propped open on a weekend night with a sign that said “come on in, the rehearsal dinner is downstairs”. One morning, I noticed the landscaping crew had left the pool gate propped open – anyone could walk right into the building. * The maintenance guys are probably one of the few bright spots at this complex. However, one day, I called the office to ask them to spray some WD40 into the keyhole on the outside of my door as my key was no longer working properly. When I placed the request, the office did not ask if they had permission to enter my unit, but when I got home, I noticed they had entered (without permission) to leave the work order on the counter. I looked at the work order and found that the person who took my request wrote “Yes” next to the space reading “Permission to Enter”. However, I had not given them permission – I was never even asked if they had permission to enter. This was obviously not the fault of maintenance, but the fault of the office. * The parking spaces are TINY! Management will say that there is nothing they can do about the parking because you are in an “urban” area. However, my issue is not with the lack of parking because I don’t actually find it that bad. My issue is with the tiny spaces, which could have been evaluated and changed during building (the developer and builder would have had some say in that). Also, because the complex is in an “urban” area, there is a lot of construction going on and the parking lot is always muddy, dirty, and dusty. I will never sign another lease without a lease-break option and recommend you spend time researching lease-break options at other complexes.

To whom it may concern: We understand your frustration in concerns to noise; You are correct we can not make a person levitate in there home; When a person makes a complaint to the office we immediately address the problem; A person wanting to move out because of noise does not let a person out of there lease that is in any apartment complex. We try our best to work with the resident as much as possible by offering a solution and it is up to the resident to accept the solution. We are so sorry that you are not happy with us, we do our best to make everyone happy here. As for your work order request if you call a work order in that gives us the right to enter the home; We can not enter with out the request. About the construction around you; Winston Salem is growing and there is not much anyone can do about that. I am truly sorry that you are not happy at all.
One of the best apartment complexes I've lived at. The leasing staff are so welcoming including the male that works there. The maintenance stuff are quick to help. I can't wait to resign my lease
I love living here. I moved here in June from Virginia Beach, Va,after searching for a home that a reminder of my life in Virginia. I found The Lofts at Little Creek using Apartments.com. This community has everything you need and more. The staff is friendly and neighbors are kind. It's located near the highways, close to fine dining and shopping. It has all the amenities you could want and more. You will never have to leave. I would definitely recommend this community to anyone.
Brand new luxury apartments with a modern chic feel! Great for young professional. Hardwoods floors, spacious 1/2 bedroom apartments.
This building may be nice and new but I am having a huge mice problem! The staff has done nothing to mitigate this which is the most disappointing part. It is disgusting and unacceptable.
