Property Ratings at The Lofts at North Penn
The thing I have loved about living here is that it's really community-oriented and there are lots of families. Kids play outside my neighbors say hi, and people actually talk to me. The far side of the property (toward May) tends to be a little more clean but I noticed that when you walk around, people will talk to you everywhere, whether they're playing with their kids or football or walking their dogs, and that's just really calming. I also left my keys in the door overnight twice (absent-minded!) and didn't have any issues with my car or my apartment on either night, so I know it's safe!
In a world this feels more and more lonely and isolated, The Lofts is so different. The managers here actually care how you're doing as a person and will ask how your day is and just take time to chat with you. They don't rush you out or snub you, and they come to the events to make sure everyone is having a great time. Yes, the events! The apartment has people do a couple events each month. Sometimes it's simple like having free sandwiches. Last year, someone came and wrapped Christmas gifts professionally - for free! Sometimes there are Taco Tuesdays or cocktail nights or more. Not to mention the neighbors are nice. You actually see them. They say hi! They grill out, wave, their kids play outside....if you're looking for community, this is an awesome place to find it.
By far the worst place I have ever moved into. Living in an apartment you expect noise and the noise level is high especially from neighbors who are loud or blast music at all hours of the night. The walls are paper thin. These apartments had recently been built and the construction is poor. The construction people had no care in the world, it looks like they just slapped things on and started building more units. There is little cabinet space in the kitchen and bathroom. The paint on the wall and ceiling is Flat paint so if anything splashes (when cooking, washing dishes, etc) there will be spots on the wall. There’s no back splash in the kitchen where the stove is, so if you cook expect oil to be on the wall. There is not good air flow circulation within the apartment. Expect to be cold all winter in one of the bedrooms or hot in the summer throughout the whole apartment. The price you have to pay is not worth it for this “newly” built apartment.
I moved her at The Lofts at North Penn about a month ago or so now. I wanted to get moved in right after school started, and luckily with their help I got in right when i wanted to. I worked with their leasing agent Joshua who was very easy to work with and answered all of my questions (i had a few) lol! I didn't have any trouble with moving in because i used movers to do it for me haha I've been through that struggle before with it being an upstairs unit...now after moving in i had an air problem in one of my other bedrooms so i used the app they recommended to enter in a work order. I'll keep this helpful with saying that even though it took them until Monday morning to come out I am happy with it being fixed right the first time. Luckily they told me it was just the filter that needed to be changed b/c of the construction being here, which made a lot of sense. The people who came out were fantastic and rang the doorbell which was also greatly appreciated! The office staff has been great and nice. After that initial hickup i haven't had anymore concerns and love my new apartment. If I knew anyone looking to move i would recommend them here. I have lived in several apartments over the years; some have been great and others not so much so i'm excited i get to live in a brand new apartment.
Both the leasing agent and property manager were so friendly. They answered all my questions and we're so helpful. They are both really working hard to make it great for the residents. I loved the solar powered security, it shows how they are really looking out for us even when the electric is out. Very cool and unique property! You can even get the garage for just bad weather and seasonal. I was surprised they suggested it and didn't try to milk me for money. They actually care about the people that live there! Love it!!!
