I was a homeowner for many years before downsizing. I love the community and staff here. The only drawback is a lack of good storage space but it’s a minor drawback. Definitely worth the look.
Our choice to move into the lofts 2 years ago has been one of the best decisions we made. We owned a home and became empty nesters. With our busy work / social lives we were never home but still had to get all the work around the house done. Living here maintenance free is wonderful. The grounds are kept very clean and neat and if something needs to be looked at in the apartment, the wonderful maintenance staff are on it quickly!!!!!! Thank you to the management staff as well for always being friendly. C&G
I’ve looked around all the areas in and around Saratoga and there is no doubt the lofts have the best bang for your buck. Large spacious 2 floor apartments with hardwood floors! Appliances are up to date and washer and drier in unit. It’s even plenty of space for two people to live in a one bedroom. Couldn’t be happier!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about The Lofts. I moved here three years ago as a single woman and will be upgrading to a two bedroom this winter. When apartment hunting ting my boyfriend and I could not find a better value than The Lofts. The location (right of exit 12 of I-87) is perfect, and the town of Malta offers just enough of everything you need. The property itself is meticulously maintained; beautiful landscaping and seasonal decor can be seen throughout the neighborhood and inside the club house. The maintenance team is beyond dependable, friendly, and always go above and beyond to help. The management is incredibly friendly, communicative, fair, and transparent when it comes to matters of business. Both teams come together each month to put on a happy hour for the residents; free libations and food sponsored by a local business or restaurant is provided in abundance. Recently, safety measures have been taken to maintain social distancing and safety during this time. The two gyms offer great options and the pool and hot tub are always clean. Being a pet owner it was important for my dog to have plenty of green space and that is most certainly my the case. The apartment itself surpasses opponents’ decor with modern decor and appliances. The garage is more spacious as well compared to the many properties I visited before transitioning from a house to communal living. Residents range in age from late 20’s to retirement, all professional, respectful, as well as social. The grilling area is gorgeous with string lights and Adirondack chairs that come le a beautiful stone has fire pit. I highly recommend The Loft’s to anyone who wants to feel safe, valued, and like they are right at home!
We love living here at the Lofts. It’s great to live right off of the highway. Quick on and off. The community around us has ample restaurants, walking trails, and the 100 acre woods right next to us is always a great place to take a hike. Thumbs up to all the staff that work here. The property is amazingly clean and is well kept up by the unbelievable maintenance staff. Thanks guys!!!!!!!! G&C
Beautiful townhouse style apartment great community and staff here to serve you at any hour. Not to mention a prime location right between Saratoga and Albany. So many amenities with in walking distance no need to get in the car. Lived here over 2 years now and have enjoyed every minute.
I've lived here for three years in the one bedroom and just signed to upgrade to the two bedroom. I moved here as a single female and fell in love with the place. It is in a great location, the apartments are luxurious, new and clean, provide a sense of safety and comfort, and the staff are friendly and maintenance is top notch! I have looked each year at other places and nothing can provide me with the same. This has been a great community to grow and live in as a young professional.
The Lofts at Saratoga is an awesome place to call home. We have been living here for over 2 years now and cant say enough about how much we enjoy it here. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Any maintenance needed is done quickly and effectively. The grounds are kept impeccably. The apartments feel more like a home than an actual apartment which is what made our transition from a large home to here very easy. Look forward to our third year here and hopefully many more.
From the community happy hour held once every month to the kind and helpful staff, who could ask for more! Oh the pool, the hottub, the music and the workout rooms are awesome! Prompt trash pick up weekly, snow removal and lawn maintenance is amazing! Just signed for the 3rd year... I have never met so many friendly tenants and dogs are allowed! Highly recommend these lofts
We have been living here for about a year and love everything about it. The staff is very attentive and the amenities are fantastic. We have never had an issue with noise and all of the residents here seem to be very friendly! The built in garages are a huge plus during the winter months as well.
My husband and I lived at the lofts for a little over 2 1/2 years. The first 6-12 months were great and then it quickly went down hill. We couldn’t decide if it was worse listening to our neighbor to the right having very loud intercourse (whose bed was on the other side of the same wall as ours) at 2 in the morning during the week OR our neighbor to the left who blasted rap music and would scream at people on the phone that he was going to kill them. We complained numerous times about both of these and many nights I had to sleep on the couch to get some sleep. We tried getting out of our lease 6 months early to buy a house but they wanted $4,000 if we did so we had to stay. We made our apt to have the apartment inspected after leaving the property manager forgot about our meeting and when I came in to see when he was coming he asked me if I was looking to rent a one bedroom or two bedroom....we closed our lease out on August 11th and this weekend we got a nice email stating we need to pay $450. $330 for a scratched stove top to which was 100% normal wear and tear as the only thing on it was pots and pans. And $120 for trash, water and national grid for the 3 weeks we didn’t have keys or access to the apartment until 8/31. All in all maintenance was AMAZING and always happy to help. But the property managers didn’t care to talk to you after you sign the lease. If you have quiet neighbors this can be a nice place but if your neighbors make any sort of noise you can hear everything as the walls are paper thin. (These weren’t neighbors over us they were to the left and right). I advised them i would be leaving this honest review since 6 weeks after we closed our lease they sent us a bill for $450. I think there are better options in Malta for the price.
Terrible management. Avoid like the plague. This place has gone downhill. Management only cares about money not residents. Don’t live here!
A great place to live! We have been here since 2016 and we are planning to renew the lease for 2019 as well! We have monthly happy hours at the clubhouse. Having a garage is a big plus, especially during winter. The location is perfect. It's close enough to Albany and you can take Uber to Saratoga Springs. Never had an issue. Extremely helpful staff, safe environment, beautiful units, friendly people. We strongly recommend the Lofts.
Our experience at the Lofts has been amazing! It’s been more than 2 years now and we love it here! Excellent accommodations, spectacular staff, nice units! They are very helpful with everything. We have never had an issue since the day we moved in. Gregg and Marty have been so helpful with the maintenance requests. Anne Marie and Michael have been great as well. We have a clubhouse with an indoor pool, hottub, pool table and 2 fitness rooms. We have monthly clubhouse meetings, which is a great way to meet / hang out with your neighbors. We strongly recommend the Lofts if you are looking for a place!
What a great place to live. The location is perfect being 1 minute from I-87 and close to everything else you need. The luxury loft apartments are stunning. The grounds are maintained daily. The staff is very approachable and accommodating. They even go out of their way to host a resident happy hour at least once/month which is a huge hit. -Adam T.
I’ve waited 6 month to write this review because I wanted to really experience what it would be like to live at the loft before jumping to conclusions. I wanted to go through the different seasons to really get the feel. Six months in and I can tell you I absolutely love living here. I love how the lofts is literally right off the highway. I love driving through the development it’s so unique especially how well lit up it is at night. I love the location, you are literally 8 minutes from the beach. You’re one exit away from saratoga with out dealing with the traffic and tourism of Saratoga. I love that my apartment has about 15 plus windows, The natural sun light is amazing. Every month they have a happy hour with local business that will bring in food which is great! Food, beer, and wine at no cost with give aways. (I almost won $100 gift card) Maintenance is excellent. Last week I put in a maintenance request at 11pm and first thing in the morning they were at my door ready to fix it. The crew here is so friendly and always looking for ways to keep the residence happy which I love. The property is extremely clean and well maintenance. You typically always have someone at the club house to greet you with a hello/ good morning. Everyone seem to love their job which makes it a positive environment. At this current moment we are experiencing our first winter snow storm which is due to start at 7pm and our drive way and walk way were salted at 2pm. One of my favorites is the free 24 Hour starbucks coffee. Do you know how much money I saved on free coffee in the last six months?? Let me repeat, Yes Free coffee!! Last thing I will say is viewing the loft via internet or picture does it no justice. You have to actually come see it in person. It’s truly a beautiful setting.
Our experience at the Lofts Saratoga has been amazing. Very helpful staff members. Always very quick maintenance response. Clubhouse is beautiful. The grounds are kept extremely clean. Overall, it has been a pleasant experience :)
The apartments are very luxurious and very clean grounds. Nice amenities. Indoor pool, pool table, Grill's. Attached garage and 2 story style apartments. office/management are great.
The loft apartments are a great location for apartments in Malta. It's close to the highway but not close enough to hear the traffic. There are fast food restaurants within walking distance. The grocery store is basically across the street. It makes everything so convenient to have things super close! The clubhouse is very nice and well maintained, also the staff that works on the property are very friendly.
Pool and a hot tub is a Mirage! If you DON'T work 9-5. It's a joke, designed to lure you in. Look..but don't touch! It is only open 9-5. If you do a CPR class and reduce their insurance premiums, you get access until 10 PM. Everything is very cheap! The floors (which are rising and coming up unglued) crack at every step! The faucets, and cabinets are the cheapest of the cheap. Very COLD downstairs, it is a cold 10-20 degree difference, and the floors are very cold since it is above garages. It's fall, a ceiling fan in the loft would have been such a huge and cheap improvement, it would have pulled the cold temperatures from downstairs and circulated it! I run the furnace fan on (on) all the time and a box fan continuously pointing upstairs to keep a regulated temp downstairs just to keep it at 69! Dirty Windows- We had an email from Paragon Management(our management company) that our outside windows were supposed to be washed 3 months ago. That never happened! I still cant see out clearly out of my loft window! I hear my neighbors talking and smell what they are cooking or "smoking" enters my apartment.

To follow please find our responses: We want you to make the most of your Clubhouse Amenities. That is why we have hired additional staff in order to extend our Pool Hours until 7pm (Check our Residents Page for exact days and times). We also offer our Heroes Program to provide residents with the opportunity to enjoy the Pool and Spa until 10pm. This program has been designed to comply with the NYS Department of Health’s requirements and has nothing at all to do with insurance premiums as you concluded. We encourage you to stop by the Clubhouse and learn more. The flooring system at the Lofts has been designed as a floating floor and is not glued or nailed to the underlayment. This allows for appropriate expansion and contraction. If you are having issues with your floor, again we encourage you to stop by the Clubhouse and we will address your concerns immediately. We have a program in place to wash the windows annually. Due to the significant amount of construction in the area, we have increased the frequency in an attempt to keep them clean from debris. Please submit a FREE maintenance request and we will address cleaning your windows again. If you are interested in having us install a ceiling fan, we would be more than happy to discuss your options. Please call our on-site Property Manager anytime between 9am and 7pm to discuss further. We have taken extraordinary measures to ensure appropriate sound attenuation. For example, in additional to the floors/ceilings being 100% insulated, we have also poured concrete on the second and third floors to prevent sound penetration. The hardwood floors all contain a cork underlayment to again prevent the transmission of sound. Likewise we have paid a significant amount of attention to our common walls. The walls are constructed in a manner to achieve maximum sound attenuation and include staggered studs, double insulation wrap, sound channel and 5/8 sheet rock on each side (typically 1/2 inch). Upon further inspection, I am sure that you will find the units to be quiet and free from surrounding noise. Again, thank you for providing us with feedback. The management is terrible and deserves a lower than one star. No grills. Dog waste. Now 7am jack hammers on a Saturday. It's not some safety issue. It is about putting profit ahead of their customers needs.
The staff both times I have been in have been great and very accommodating.
everything is wonderful and brand new, the staff is very helpful and welcoming.
