Would recommend because maintenance is quick to respond and the building has pleasantly trained personnel.
I love the staff, the apartment, and the views. I feel there could be more in way of amenities (roof access or a similar outdoor area access would be great, I know the building has areas like this that aren't accessible).
This has been my BEST living experience in the past 10 years of living in Los Angeles.
Don't think both elevators have ever worked at the same time since I have been here. The front door only opens from one side to enter the building. The blinds were pretty filthy and in poor shape. (Still waiting for this repair request to be completed)
Please repair the second elevator. There are two but only one seems functional so the wait is anyways protracted.
I highly recommend this apartment community to my friends and coworkers it's a great place to live the building is immaculate staff are fabulous
yes
The apartment community is well maintained. I particularly enjoyed my unit, perfectly situated in the community. The only detracting factor would be downtown living and the overrun of homelessness, public/visible drug use and mental health issues that play out in the immediate area.
Response by management of building is "tepid" - especially after last year's flood of the apartment, as yet they have not responded to any of my request for assistance with the company they contracted
Safety of the area makes it less desirable also not having a safe clean area for pets to walk.
Everybody is ALWAYS ready and willing to help with a smile. Thank You!
The overall Management is great. Enjoy the fact management is always on the premises.
The lack of parking, the windows are terrible - you can hear everything on the streets & they let in cold air.
The only thing that would be improved in my experience at this community would be a way to better insulate the apartment from outside noise.
The only very serious problem is the late hour noise made across the street on Spring and not being able to peacefully sleep. I would not be able to recommend any real friends or family for that reason although i have accepted it . All else is a pleasure at the Lofts .
I've been here one day and love it already! Excited to be here.
It is a surprise to be so comfortable in a loft with huge windows.
I would recommend this apartment community due to it's safe and clean environment.
Diversity of neighbors, friendliness of staff and neighbord... would not: no storage space (small closets, no bike storage), outdated windows and appliances, would not wax floor of our apartment (we have a dirty looking painted floor).
Great location and management team makes it a great place to live
Living at the Loft is one of the best DTLA apartment community for affordable space and square feet! The security is exceptional, like none others, always available 24/7 and receive your packages. Maintenance is always available at your request. I personally have never had any concerns with the staff, for they have been professional out of the 4 years I've lived here!
I would recommend this apartment, due to the friendly and responsive staff. Cleaniliness and ease of living here.
I'm not sure yet. I think the lobbies of each floor could look better, they and the inside of the elevator look very beat up. The rest of the building where leasing tours are directed look great so this is a disappointment.
Building itself is very cool. Lack of parking and back alley activity leaves continued cause for concern. Parking costs are much higher then staff quoted.
THE LACK OF RESPECT BY THE EMPLOYEES OF LOFTS AT SECURITY is beyond miserable. There is a constant cycle of employee turnarounds, The leasing agents are rude and disregard your status as a PAYING tenant. The Manager, Logan, consistently sends emails out daily acting as a college dormitory advisor. Lost packages for many due to mishandling boxes and/or leaving packages in the front lobby while the sometimes non existent front desk receptionists are M.I.A get it together. this place is horrible
We felt this was very attractive five yrs or so ago and pleased to show our guests around. Now-the area is changing greatly and its dispelling to see more homeless on our street.
I was once told I would get a 500 credit for referring my friend . They lied and gave me 100. So the personnel constantly lies .
This is a great building but I'd advise my friends to consider whether they'll be bothered by the number of homeless people in the vicinity.
It took a month and 4 maintenance requests to have the moldy leak that was dripping onto my bed fixed. The neighborhood is what it is but your security was apathetic at best. The apartment was OK but the windows need to be updated with double panes and further insulation to block gaps between the window and the window frames. I don't know why you guys installed bungee cords in the gym but they cut space and only added an instagram friendly element rather than functionality. The garbage chute was broken even after being replaced and leeched the smell of trash into the hallway. The update to the lobby that added ultra white lights made it feel like I was coming home to a convenience store. And then... the elevators. 47 Days over 2 years one or more of the elevators was broken. Maybe, just maybe, it might be time to replace them with something that doesn't need repairs on a weekly basis. I have yet to receive my security deposit. You may think you can charge downtown luxury prices but the cheap workmanship of the cabinetry and the infrastructural problems with the building need serious work. I will never live in a Simpson building again.
YES! Good location, attractive lobby w/concierge and love Dina's paintings on the walls. However the "backyard" needs work- lots of cigarette butts, papers etc ...across from pkg lot to the door.
I love the front Desk concierge. I feel this is going to be a safe and secure environment. Management is always gracious. Burton and Kanika were amazing!
elevators are broken a lot, a/c breaks a lot, laundry amenities leave much to be desired, utilities rate is pretty high
Great location, decent price, decent amenities. Need to double check the management on documentation. Not much of a community, but some nice people live there.
The apartment is a great value in the current real estate market. The only downside is that it takes a particular type of person who will want to live in DTLA.
The atmosphere of the staff and other residents is very warm, inviting, and makes me feel like I am part of a community not just someone leasing a space in the building.
The lack of rooftop amenities is a reason to look elsewhere, but pricing and location are wonderful.
comfortable and close to everything I need! everything is walking distance and management is quick and responsive. can't complain!
