Staff is very attentive and quick to see to needs. Elevator in building F is a problem, from time to time, since there’s only 1. But overall, Watters Creek is upgrading and the Lofts has followed along. My husband and I enjoy living here!

Elevators are always broke . Pools stay green or chained closed. 2 years and they don’t open them until after memorial (blames the city) Fob systems are down and residents can’t access building. Management lies about status of property and issues. A/c issues…they blame 3rd party vendors. Nothing is considered an emergency. Mail Delivery is terrible and packages get left everywhere. No secured resident parking. Anyone can walk in, steal you car and leave. Multiple cars have been stolen. Non resident kids run around causing ruckus and trashing the place, acceding the roof and all times of night. Do not move here until the improve things. This is the 3rd management company as well.

My mother is stuck in her 5th floor apartment because the ONE elevator in the whole building has been out of service for a week. She's missing medical appointments because she can't climb stairs... and for the folks who can climb stairs, it's dangerous when it is 110 degrees outside. UNACCEPTABLE!

Working within their timeframe when they themselves were dealing with labor shortages and supply chain issues meant that neither of us could address this problem anywhere near as promptly as we would've liked. Watters Creek is beautiful and a great environment in which to live. Unfortunately, their Building F has 77 residents and one elevator. The elevator is frequently out for a week or more at a time, trapping residents who cannot climb stairs. There are disabled and elderly residents who cannot leave, nor can they "buzz in" food/grocery delivery. Lack of the security in all buildings is severely lacking.

Only one elevator in Building F and it is regularly down for at least a week or more. Tenants only access is stairway which for some is 5 flights of stairs! Carrying groceries, luggage, etc is quite the chore. Can't recommend this complex.

One of the best neighborhoods in the DFW area. Lots of restaurants, bars and places to explore. The community has really nice Gym, Game room, and Pool. Must say the really friendly staff and residents.

Worst apartments I have ever lived in. Please do not lease here you will regret it. The manager, Shelley, does not respond to any tenant issues. It takes up to a week or more to get a response from any email sent to Shelley and that is only if she chooses to respond. She is the worst manager I have ever dealt with. In most cases, you have to send several emails complaining just to get a patronizing response while they do nothing to remedy any issues. MAJOR MAJOR COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION began several months ago without any notice from management. The construction is about 20-30 ft right outside the front door of building. Basically living in a major construction zone. The dog park was moved to a vacant pasture (not even sodded) at the end of the complex. VERY LOUD machinery and equipment is used every day making the units uninhabitable. You cannot even hear the television much less carry on a phone conversation. Your unit will feel and sound like a construction zone. No one cares, no discount was offered or anything. The construction occurs seven days a week and begins between 6 and 7:00 am and many days goes until after 9:00pm. Saturdays and Sundays are horrible with loud noise all day long. The only thing management has done is inform me that they are allowed to work all day seven days a week.... that hardly seems reasonable or even legal regarding construction in front of a residential building. The Watters Creek retail developers have not made any attempt to limit the disruption or noise or any consideration whatsoever regarding tenants’ rights and quality of life. Shelley told us construction was going to take 2 to 3 months, however, it has been 4 months so far and the building has not even been erected. They wasted 4 months on earthwork and foundation work. The noise is so loud it will drive you to insanity. The fact management does not care at all or made any accommodations for tenants' quality of life serves as a measure of how much they care about you. Also, there have been several units burglarized, cars broken into and the power goes out in the entire building from time to time. One of only two elevators was out of service for a month or more. I have spoken with several tenant neighbors all complaining and miserable too. There is a high volume of people constantly moving out.

We regret that you have not been happy with your residency over the past few months and have had issues with the adjacent construction. The management team at The Lofts cares about each and every resident, and we want to make sure the living experience is the best it can be. We are working with the construction group to address and alleviate your concerns, and we have spoken with the construction superintendent, retail management and the city of Allen. It has been a difficult process but rest assured we will correct the issue as soon as possible. Contrary to your comments, the staff at The Lofts is always available to discuss concerns any resident has, and we welcome the opportunity to speak to you in person about this issue.
I will say, this is my thoughts/opinions of living here. Next major and really the most important issue, if you have a medium size dog or more, don't even bother living here. I have 2 7 month old dogs with my girlfriend that weigh 45lbs each. There is some people that have little yappy dogs that will provoke big dogs. These people think just because their dogs are small they can do whatever they want, and the sad thing is the Property management enforces this behavior. Example, I have one of my German Shepard (registered service dog btw) on the elevator or stairs taking him outside to do his business. As soon as the elevator opens, a small yappy dog runs in trying to bite and growl at me and my dog. well thankfully I have trained my dog well and he doesn't bite, but he does growl back and barks. These people complain because they are scared my dog will hurt their dog. Me being a mature adult just understands that dogs are dogs. Keep the leash on them, and quit letting them run everywhere, and go about your day. Then I get a call from property management saying I have to get rid of my baby (dog) or they will evict, and I only had 24 hours. This is hostile and unreasonable behavior for a dog that's done nothing but tried to enjoy his time at Watters Creek. I feel they have put the death penalty for my dog under the provisions I was giving. Have him out in 24 hours? Where can he go? This is his home, he's on the application. So I would have to take the day off for a hard and emotional search to find a place for him to live. They said there has been complaints about my dog being vicious. I was devastated, because this dog is family. So If you have dogs, just keep this in mind, the property management are very bias and unfair. I have recently been bite by a Jack Russel/ Terrier type of dog on the leg getting out of an elevator, but they did nothing. A week later, same dog tried to bite my leg again, the owner spilled coffee trying to hold it back. (oh and never cleaned the coffee up btw). This is proof that the property management will not take small dog threats serious, but take a big dogs growl more serious? I though I was going to let this go, but I'm not. Maybe a lawsuit should be started for types of dogs that are being mistreated by this place. If you have been mistreated by the Property Management or security please express your concerns or contact me.
The Lofts at Watters Creek is a great place to call home. The apartments are very nice and well laid out. The office staff is professional, courteous, very helpful and the Maintenance issues are taken care of quickly. The amenities are nice and It's great to live where shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. There are discounts for the residents and always something going on in Watters Creek. I truly feel like this is home.
