The Lofts was over priced for its location relative to school. Many of the treadmills in the gym did not work and you could not pick up your package if the front desk was closed. When I first moved in, my room did not have a bed and some other furniture that was supposed to come with a "fully furnished" apartment. The couch had blood on it from the previous tenants so we had to get it replaced immediately. The lock on all doors is controlled by an app on your phone so it's difficult to let friends in or even yourself if you don't have your phone. Some of the door locks are broken so you can get inside the apartment without the app which defeats the purpose of having the a secure digital locking system. If your apartment faces the main pool, be prepared to go to bed with ear plugs as the apartment weakly enforces the 10pm closing rule. The security guard will sometimes kick people out (which you will hear happen) but he goes home after his job is done.
When I moved in the apartment was dirty and there was mold growing on the AC vents and AC unit in the utility closet. There was also a lot of junk left by the previous tenants. My room was also very dirty and we had to completely clean it. The walls were freshly painted, but the carpet was stained and had hair/food bits all over it. Having lived here a few months, the internet does not work and there are fees every month for an app called Chirp which is required to be able to get into the building (if it can connect due to the poor internet everywhere). The hallways are gross and there is water that leaks through the ceiling when it rains. The parking garage is nice to have, but it is too narrow and it is dangerous to turn the corners because people fly through and there is not enough room for two cars wide. Also, there are motorcycles at all hours of the day in the parking garage revving their engines and making loud noises. Whenever there are issues, the management/staff either aren't able to fix it (ex. the internet) or they pretend that they want to fix it and end up not doing anything. I would skip this one, especially since they are raising the rent by almost $100 per month and not fixing any of the issues that already exist.
The staff is always so friendly and the bus stop is such a great convenience right outside of the building. The maintenance is fast working and a great help to anything needed.

They don’t care about keeping the property clean. The hallways always stink because of the trash. I NEVER see them clean the hallway floors, which make it a living nightmare to live here. Not to mention the constant dog barking that they do not care about.

I will have to be brief to save you the read. All reviews previously were done by staff. This complex is barely afloat. They provide the bare minimum to avoid legal conflicts. They have “lost” lease agreements that they promised $xxx off rent. No message you send to the management is dealt with. When they say “We will take care of it”, you can believe they won’t. In fact, as I’m writing this, I’m looking at a mess of plaster the maintenance has left without cleaning up. Terrible place to live, you can do way better for significantly less money.
I lived here for three years, and management is the absolute worst. The only competent person ever on the phone was Marshall, the new guy. Also, Mallory was at least attempting to help, whereas new management is incredibly incompetent and useless. For some reason, their phone lines never ever pick up, and I've been waiting for a $300 reward card that I never received for over a year now. Nobody ever sends an email back or responds to them. Ever. The space itself is nice though, hence why I'm giving it a single star. Also, maintenance people are nice and helpful.
THIS IS THE WORST WORST APARTMENT TO LEAVE IN! THE NOISE IS SO UNBEARABLE. even the front desk management makes a lot of noise! its suppose to be no pet apartment but they have dogs everywhere that bark all day. also dogs owned by the staff workers themselves. your complaint are never taken seriously. is so dirty. maintenance never do their work. i can't wait for my lease to up this summer so i leave this hell hole. you ask to speak to a manager they will never call you back. they target international students. the management always play loud music disturbing the whole community. my friends and i have decided this is the worst place to live. ALSO ITS SO DIRTY! TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT.

To be honest, my experience with the lofts was terrible, the management is just a never-ending bunch of clowns, the attrition rate is amazing with a new face every week. The manager hides in the office doesn't want to engage with people. Communication is zero. STAY well away from this shambles you won't regret it. Moved in to a dirty apartment with sunflower seeds, hair, and ketchup packets everywhere. A portion of my bedroom carpet is missing (I've lived here 9 months and they never fixed it). Pools are always dirty. Gym equipment is regularly broke. Printer never has ink. Wifi is horrible. Management are rude, uncaring, and extremely unhelpful. Mold in bathrooms, cockroaches, and a broken AC constantly. The management will treat every situation as if you're lying and will be condescending. They ignore emails and are overall such a pain to deal with. The management is my main upset with this place.
The Lofts is a great place to live!!! I chose to live here my freshman year and I loved it so much that I renewed for my sophomore year as well. The new management is awesome, and they are super interactive with us residents! Lots of free food (Olive Garden, Chick fil A, Pizza, Whataburger, Sonic, Starbucks, etc) and fun activities!!! They are renovating everything, including the gym, pool, study room, movie theatre, and several features around the complex. They give great deals and rent is fairly reasonable for what you get. (Electricity is a separate bill from College Station Utilities) My room is bigger than any other student living in C-Stat, as well as my bathroom & closet (they are huge!!!) We are on bus route 27 and it's super quick to get to campus. I love the Lofts!!! You need to live here!!!!!!
This has to be the nastiest place I have ever stepped foot in. The hallways spell like urine and vomit is on the walls. My son walked in his apartment and there was food left on the counter tops and dirt all over the floors. This was nothing like what they originally showed us. Very disappointed.
Management turnover is unreal. The front desk acts like everything is a chore. You can expect to wait a while to get anything fixed. People park in reserved spots that they don't pay for. They only care about getting people to sign and push marketing way too hard. Once you live there they don't care anymore.
I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone even my worst enemy. Upon move-in nothing was actually clean, there were doors missing off closets, lights without fixtures; it seemed like no one had even checked the place. The gates to the parking garage are broken about every 2 weeks, the "secure" door from the parking garage to the first floor was broken all of 1st semester. My roommate had her back windshield busted while parked here, the security is all very much a lie. A parking garage can't be secure when you can literally walk right in. Our apartment had a mold issue in the 2nd story which was not fixed for almost a month which is highly unsafe. During the first month of school they stopped supplying paper for the printer in the business area but didn't email us just wrote a note next to the printer, we have now been waiting 3 weeks for ink in the same printer. While the CA's who work the front desk are nice and helpful, management is AWFUL. Do not ever expect to be treated like an adult or for anyone to care what is going on. The Wifi never worked 1st semester and while it was fixed close to finals this past week it has been just as bad as it was before. The hallways, stairwells and elevators are always trashed and smell disgusting. Although maintenance is efficient and good at their job they smoke right outside of our front door. The cost of living here is way too high for what you are going to experience and have to deal with during your lease.
I signed at the lofts this past year and boy do I regret it. The staff can be rude and not helpful at all. We had a cockroach infestation (30 ) we had to call the terminator every week for three months, I even found one in my bed. Lots of things that needed fixing. Place gets dirty so fast because of their air vents. For a week, the fire alarm went off multiple times throughout the night and still goes off randomly for periods of time and you just have to sit in your room until they can get someone to fix it and turn it off. Wifi is awful. Those food places below aren't even open.So frustrated for how much we are paying. Never coming back. The only semi decent thing about it is it's location to HEB and it's loft style setup.
