Property Ratings at The Logan
Been interested in this Community for a while. I had some questions about the affordable program. Maithy Was very helpful and answered everything. She explained the process. Five stars are not enough.
I decided to stop by Whole Foods for a few things the other day and saw what I thought was a nice outdoor area next to the store. My curiosity got the best of me and started walking in that direction and to my surprise it was the entrance to the adjacent apartment building. I was greeted by a someone who I assume is the doorman, with lots of smiles. He asked if I’m looking to rent, I said no but introduced me to the leasing agent anyway. She was very nice about it and gave me a tour. The building is beautiful and you definitely pay for the convenience. If my pockets were a little deeper this would definitely be the spot for me.
The staff is nice but the service is not what you expect for a luxury building. There doesnt appear to be any hustle or drive to get things fixed, or maybe they arent empowered by the people who can make decisions. One example of hundreds: The fire panel has been beeping incredibly loudly every 15 seconds (and flashing shstem trouble) throughout all of the indoor amenity areas since wholefoods moved in 10 months ago and they just ignore it. People report it all the time and the poor night staff look miserable. The mezzanine and coworking lounges are nearly always unusable. I used to think it was an intentional deterrent for the homeless people who want to come in at night but it's just a system malfunction they ignore. They say it's an issue with Whole Foods alarm system and theirs but after 10 months its unacceptable that its not addressed. I don't even know if it's safe. Since the roof has no heaters or shelter, the only place you can work is your appartment, and that's not why I pay for a luxury building like this. Anything you report or ask I assume now they will do nothing about. But they are friendly about it! Some new staff is awesome this summer 2022, I hope they stay and are empowered to do something about this place. There are cheaper places near by with better and more usable amenities.
My actual unit was great and had very nice finishes. I also loved how quiet it was. As for the building, it's a lemon. Things broke all the time including the garbage chutes, elevators, and neverending fire alarms. This was made exponentially worse by a non-communicative, disorganized, and unfriendly management team. If you're going to charge luxury fees, I would expect luxury service. The Logan doesn't even have passable service. Don't live here.
This place is terrible. They do not communicate with you. Email goes unanswered. They don't reply to repair requests for months. They have a terrible attitude in general. Be very careful with them. Demand written confirmation of all conversations.
This is a new building in a Fantastic location. The team is extremely helpful and very service driven. There is a Whole Foods downstairs which makes last minutes dinners a dream! The neighborhood is hip and fun to explore!
Elevator is constantly down. Outrageous fees. Constant fire alarms or issues with garbage collection. Building literally falling apart. In the six months I have lived in this "luxury" building it has had more issues than every place I've ever lived combined. Save yourself, live elsewhere.
Fire alarm will go off constantly and the elevators break down consistently. These issues have been happening for months since we've moved in and really don't think they'll ever be fixed. We will not live here again. Staff and management is very nice though!
