Nice and secure which is good for city with such a high crime rate. Apartments is nice and well maintained. Has a Pet Spa to use which is not advertised.

We love our furry friends at The Lucie! I'm glad you are utilizing the pet spa and be sure to let us know if you have any recommendations of items we can add to it. We like to keep it fully stocked.
The Lucie is not a secure building and i can surly tell you that if you do not have a key you can still get in. Maintenance guys are great. Leasing staff great as well as manger but the capabilities the owner allows staff to foresee and take appropriate action to is not acceptable. “Too much money” “we can only do what we can” ‘still waiting on parts” too many excuses if you ask the residents.

I love it at the Lucie. However, the last few months the conditions on the 3rd floor have changed. The trash area is sometimes a disaster. Trash just thrown in the room. The smell of drugs is getting really bad. Yelling and fighting in apartments. The employes and service is wonderful.

I really love living at The Lucie. In the hot summer heat the pool was a very refreshing and relaxing way to spend my days off or after work. They kept it very clean and well maintained as well

Lots of area for improvement. I wish it would be cleaner and safer. The staff lack consideration and do not in-force parking regulations or lease agreements.

The lucie is a great apartment complex! however, Package delivery is disorganized; if this gets fixed, this would be the best place to live at
Property Manager at The Lucie, Responded To This Review
Hello- your feedback matters and we are definitely taking steps to address this for residents. Thanks again for letting us know about your experience.
Raishawn and Janee are amazing. From the tour, application process, and move-in everything has been perfect. Even after two months of not seeing them, they remembered my name. I’m impressed - I lived in my last apartment community for five years and each time I spoke with them they had zero clue who I was. Appreciate you both and the apartment is great!
Property Manager at The Lucie, Responded To This Review
We're glad to hear our team members went beyond expectations for you! They are truly assets to this community, and we'll be sure to share your kind words with them!
The building management can change policies at will. In the Lease agreement it says "Only 2 guests allowed" in the pool and community area, but to receive a pool pass everyone needs to agree that only 1 guest is permitted. Sounds like a small change but goes with the fact that the building management believes they can change rules set in the lease at their will. I had electrical issues in my kitchen for nearly a month after move in requiring the swapping of multiple breakers and outlets as kitchen appliances such as my microwave and refrigerator would turn off without warning. Following these issues I have also has issues with the wifi in which the contracted wifi service White Sky does not solve the issues that exist. No other internet service provider is allowed as the lease requires us to pay the apt complex for service with whitesky, Lastly building management is horrible with communication and repairing building accesses. The main front door has been sticking shut for weeks not allowing access into the building, this requires residents to walk a significant distance down south haven street near the volo courts to access the building when the concierge is away (which is frequent). The garage doors have been broken for several months starting in January which required one door to be continuously open, and the community did not post additional security for the month it was perpetually open. Following that, when one door was fixed it took several additional weeks for the second door to be fixed making it inoperable for several months. It was repaired but what seems like a few weeks later it is broken again and has been for more than a week. Just recently one of the elevators was shut down since it is broken, and the management company has not said any information about the elevator being broken, when asked I was told "there are 5 other elevators that are operational." This does not signify that the management company is eager to fix the broken access to the building, nor do they pass along information. Oh and the delivery drivers, when asked say "This is the worst package room I have ever seen, how does anyone find their packages in here." The package room which is supposed to have all packages scanned in (they frequently are not) does not have a decent sorting process so very often there are hundreds of packages on a single shelf with nearly a hundred more scattered around the ground with no actual notice if your package arrived or did not.

Hello - The amenities are what make The Lucie special and we want our residents to enjoy them. For this reason, outside guest may be limited at spaces such as the pool so that as many of our residents can comfortably utilize the area. In addition, we understand it’s frustrating when things break but our team makes every attempt to resolve as quickly as possible. Thank you for your comments and feel free to contact our office at any time to discuss further.
Todos son muy amables y las instalaciones son muy amplias para que la mudanza sea sencilla.

Hi, we are so happy to receive such a great review about The Lucie! Many thanks for taking the time.
My fiancé and I have been a resident at the Lucie since August 2023, and our time here has been far from what we expected. From the day we moved in, our appliances in out kitchen kept short circuiting. If we used our dishwasher, then our fridge fuse would blow, if we used our microwave that fuse would blow along with our fridge. We called multiple times and had maintence come out to check, we were told many different things, one Greystar employee even told us that "this whole building was built wrong and we have this electrical problem in over 100 units here" After 3 months of calling almost daily they fixed the problem, which is a positive however it should not have taken this long and I know other residents still are dealing with similar issues. On top of that, the Lucie has no concern for resident safety. While it is expected that there is crime while living in the city, many residents choose apartment complexes because they tend to be more secure and safer. That is not the case at the Lucie. Over the last week we have had 5 cars broken into and someone was even able to break into the apartment complex and attempt to break in to apartments. When residents reached out to the Lucie about this they gaslight the residents and basically said there is nothing they can do and these events did not happened. Many of us residents have asked if they will install cameras to ensure safety and they have told us that they will not be doing so unless they are required to by law. They also said that there will be additional security added to the premises but we have yet to see one other than the concierge that is here after hours at the front desk not around the building. This Greystar community is a money hungry cooperation that does not care about their residents safety or well being. I DO NOT recommend living here.
Property Manager at The Lucie, Responded To This Review
Hello - it's truly upsetting to hear that you have not been happy in your home. However, we are encouraged by the steps we've taken to minimize future issues. We have our electrician actively addressing the breaker issue in affected apartment homes. Please contact our office for more information on this process. To address the uptick in crime in area, we’ve made the following adjustments: installed stretch steel fence plates along our fence where it was compromised, hired overnight security and housed an onsite courtesy officer. Our team will continue to work diligently to work through any issue our residents are experiencing.
I do not recommend living in the lucie. I have live here for 6 months. In the time I’ve lived here we have had cars stolen from the garage, numerous cars broken into, and people breaking into the building and attempted break ins to apartments. In the last 8 days, we have had car break ins every night. Management does not care to help, when we complain they dismiss us and say there is nothing they can do. They do not have cameras in the garage and there is not a garage attendant. There is a giant hole in the fence by the garage, clearly how people are breaking in. They covered half of this fence with “secure” fencing, and then left the rest not finished (which just lead to more break ins this week. Seems like a very easy fix but the hole has been there for weeks. I’m not sure what our $125 a month goes towards. The gates in our garage are constantly stuck open. Even with the recent crime, they are not lenient with breaking your lease. I am a single woman and I moved here because I thought it would be safe…. Now I cannot walk my dog after dark, have to clean my car out every day so it’s not a target, and I have to look both ways in the halls.

Do not live at The Lucie. I have lived at The Lucie since July of 2023 and in my 4 months of being here several cars have been broken into in the “secure” garage and multiple attempts have been made to break in to peoples apartments. The management does not care at all. I parked and locked my electric bike at one of The Lucie’s bike racks outside the building where there was cameras and it was stolen overnight. When I asked for the footage, the management said they did not have video evidence of the crime and they did not care to help me at all. I will say that there is bike parking inside the garage but, of course, that is an additional fee. There has been large police presence at the apartment due to criminal activity inside one of the units — obviously this made me feel unsafe. When management was asked about this, they had no explanation. Please do not be fooled by the nice amenities. Go live somewhere that has a few more years under its belt and more issues worked out. I’m sure The Lucie will deny all these claims.

Thank you again for taking the time to let us know your thoughts on the community. We hope you have a great day!
The Lucie has all the luxury of a New York penthouse for a fraction of the price. Having come from a history of predatory leasers, I was legitimately dumbfounded at how transparent, supportive, and selfless the Lucie team is. It’s simply the best building in all of East Baltimore.

Thank you for your amazing feedback and high rating. This means the world to us.
I do like how the apartments are new . My leasing agent was super nice and very informative. It’s just the noise level the walls are super thin , I can hear everything that my upstairs neighbor does . I’m considering breaking my lease because I honestly can’t deal with how hard he/ she walks.

The location and amenities are top notch but the staff handling our tour and questions sealed the deal. No doubt the place is well-run was very important. Having bells and whistles is meaningless without good folks in charge!!

I enjoy living here so far. There are minor things I’ve noticed that weren’t apparent before (hot water issues and plug not working in the bathroom, or connecting to the wifi through Alexa or Google home). But these are very minor details that aren’t a huge deterrent but a minor inconvenience. Everything else about this place is truly amazing and I love it so far for my first time living in an apartment complex!

Hi there, thank you so much for your positive comments about The Lucie! We look forward to having you with us for many years to come!
I looked at many apartments within the city before deciding upon The Lucie. I felt the price was affordable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the amenities blew me away. I enjoy being in close proximity to a shopping center which means I don’t have to travel far. I also enjoy the various type of events that The Lucie hosts to keep residents engaged! Overall, my experience here has been great despite small issues there were resolved. Lastly, I must say that I like the resort feel of the space. I don’t feel like I’m just in an apartment building - it feels exciting to explore and when walking to the conference rooms, gym, or game room.
