Property Ratings at The Manor/The Manor East Apartments
I regret to say that my experience at Manor East Apartments has been disappointing. Shortly after moving in, my heat was cut off, leaving me without proper heating. I was also required to empty my entire kitchen, pantry, and under my sink to address a pest problem—only to later discover mice in my unit. The overall upkeep of the property is lacking. The grounds are not well-maintained, with trash scattered throughout, pet waste left unattended, and even hazardous items like chicken bones that put pets at risk. Parking is another major issue, with vehicles that have expired tags taking up valuable spaces and some residents using a Vespa to "reserve" their spots. For the price and expectations of apartment living, I had hoped for a better-maintained and more professionally managed community. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves the living conditions for residents.

Very good people in the leasing office, 5 star for them but a Horrible place to live in. They just cut the water supply without any notice, more annoyingly right before we need to get ready to go to work in the morning and when we call them, they don’t answer the call. It happens very often. Theres cockroaches everywhere and recently seeing bed bugs and mice. Pest control people came several times but the problems were never fixed.
The Manor maintenance staff (currently Charles, supervisor; Denny; and Saul) are always prompt to respond, conscientious about any work that needs to be done, and cheerful when you meet them around the property. Their professional approach and standards are an added benefit to the experience for Manor residents.
The apartments are nicely located and have fair pricing. The biggest issue is the pests; the apartments are infested with roaches and we've even gotten many mice. The apartments fumigate but it doesn't make much of a difference; they crawl in from the doors from other units. Not worth it ! Currently moving out for this reason.
The management team was very responsive to complaints concerning disruptive behaivors of another tenant. The maintenance team responded quickly and professionally to repair water damage on the ceiling and on the carpet. Due to the corona debacle, I cannot comment on other amenities, as they are closed.
The staff here is EXTREMELY RUDE!!! If you care about your hard work money's worth you will look else where. Sylvia is unwilling to help, rather she is most certainly unprofessional and cannot hold her composure well. When a paying customer is unaware it is the duty to 'take care' in explaining than to lash out in anger. The staff here is continuously disrespectful and I cannot underestimate their unwillingness to help or show care. Not only am I disappointed year after year with their attitudes but I am certain this will be my last lease here. The staff gossips about tenants. It is unreal and unprofessional. What happened holding high standards and taking pride in delivering service? It is more important to take the money or to build long lasting reputation and relationships? The place is boded with cheap materials and on top of outrageous pricing, outrageous service and I cant stress enough the unwillingness to help anyone.
