Property Ratings at The Marine Residence
Having recently moved in to this property, I can’t begin to express how much we love living here! Danielle, Community Manager is awesome!! Always above and beyond to ensure you have the best move in experience!!! Maintenance is quick to respond to any requests. Beautiful grounds and relatively quiet building.
This is the 4th apartment I've lived at in Memphis, and so far it is by far my favorite. The staff are absolutely wonderful. These buildings were built over 100 years ago so they definitely have their quirks and certain kinks are being worked out as people move in. Danielle, Carol, and Barry are amazing and are so polite and always willing to go the distance to take care of any issues. 100% the best staff I've ever encountered. The owner is constantly on site as well to make sure everything is being taken of if any issues arise. There was flash flooding in a huge storm a few weeks back and all staff stayed after hours to make sure everyone was ok and all leaks are being taken care of. Again, these are OLD HISTORICAL buildings, on the historic registry, and they are being modified to live in with luxury finishes. Truly a unique place. The buildings are right on the river with the most beautiful view of the Mississippi during sunset at the park across the street. The residents are all lovely people and there is a real sense of community here. I have never had so many friends in an apartment complex before. This is a dog friendly place and that's one of the great things about it! The first resident social was a dog party!! I've met a lot of neighbors through their dogs :) As to the bad review on here, I don't understand how someone can complain about pet odors while also complaining that they are not allowed to smoke like a chimney inside a unit in a shared building...Also, don't rent a pool facing apartment if you hate hearing/seeing the activities at the pool. Common sense!
Yes the property is quiet, staff is helpful and floorplans are unique... But for the price you have no comfort! Almost everyone has a dog so that leaves pet odor?? There's a huge spider problem, parking arrangements are trash, half of our units flooded when it rain last week, and they have a no smoking policy on the entire premises! Not your patio or inside the home, Meanwhile ppl getting drunk in the pool is acceptable???????... you'd have to leave the comforts & safety of your home to have a smoke! SO PRIVACY??? WHAT PRIVACY! My first week there I was so unhappy with the choice that I purchased out my lease & MOVED before I gave them 24k for the yr..???????
