Famous for its ties to American history, Alexandria today remains a popular city — not just for tourists but also for those who work for the government. Located southwest of Washington, D.C., the west end Alexandria neighborhood of Landmark/Van Dorn has become a culturally diverse place for commuters to live.
Landmark/Van Dorn sits 5 miles due west of the downtown Alexandria waterfront, making a walk along the Potomac River only 15 minutes away. With the neighborhood outside of Old Towne, the close Metro line makes going downtown simple, yet residents can enjoy their local parks and restaurants without the influx of tourists.
Known for its luxury car dealerships, high-end rentals in Cameron Station, parks and diverse grocery stores, Van Dorn benefits from being a part of a community that, with over 900 acres of protected open space and a commitment to be biker and pedestrian friendly, makes Alexandria well worth the investment to live in.

Property Ratings at The Mark by solaire
There is no management in Mark, it is very dirty, there are many rats, they make excuses every day, there is no one to prevent it, they will do it today, tomorrow, and there is no action at all, I am sorry to write this. I have never seen so many mice in any apartment. I go to the doctor every day because my children get sore throats from mice.
Honestly the worst apartments I’ve ever lived in. I’ve had a constant mice issue and management had done nothing except provide glue traps and haphazardly look around the apartment for holes. Don’t feel safe living in this apartment and will leave as soon as my lease is up. Believe the other reviews and don’t make the same mistake I did!
Honestly a nightmare. Apartments are mediocre priced and have modest kitchens, but the real issue is the mice. Within the first six weeks on a lease there have been three phone calls for mice showing up to the unit, despite a relatively clean apartment. I’ve seen them congregating in overflowing garbage chutes in common hallways. In addition to this, the needs of residents are disregarded for corporate cost considerations, removing the possibility of air conditioning entirely in October. That wouldn’t be a tremendous deal, if any of the windows had screens to keep bugs out of the apartment. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to move into this place unless it is an absolute last ditch effort and the only option. It’s worth an extra hundred a month somewhere else. tl;dr mice and 85 degree apartment. Do not recommend
The apartment is fantastic for the amount you pay, and I’m very pleased with the care management gives to you. However, this community has the rudest and most inconsiderate tenants that I’ve ever had the displeasure of sharing a wall with. I’ve lived in multiple cities at multiple locations, and I’ve never seen it this bad. Stomping and dropping loud objects, music blaring so loud you feel like you’re at a club when you’re walking down the hall, it’s horrible. Let me put it this way — management had to literally mandate DNA tests of the tenants’ dogs because nobody will clean up after themselves. Rent at your own risk depending on your tolerance for obnoxious neighbors.

Roaches and something is always messed up plus utilities are high and we don’t even have a washer or dryer in the apartment
Lived here and let’s just say it’s NOT WORTH IT. There is a severe problem with Parking. Come home to late and you won’t find one! .. Mice and Critters. And the Leasing staff is no help. Gym is nice however but for this amount of money you can live somewhere less congested
My friend is moving to Alexandria and needs an apartment. The problem? She currently lives 5 hours away, which makes it very hard to tour. Since I live only about 40 minutes away, she asked if I would drop by The Mark to tour it for her and see if it was a place she would like to live. Naturally, I agreed. Since I don't actually live there, my review will be about my tour. When I arrived at The Mark, I was enthusiastically greeted by Wardell. I explained the situation to him, and despite not having an appointment, he was more than happy to give me a tour and talk to me about the various apartment options. Wardell was absolutely fantastic. He was personable, upbeat, and knowledgable. He was able to answer all questions I had and volunteered a lot of information without me having to ask. He greeted every resident, employee, and package delivery person that we encountered with authenticity. He listened to my friend's needs and wants in a unit and was super accommodating to try to find her the best deal. Truly, Wardell was a big factor in my friend ultimately deciding to rent at The Mark. The building itself was lovely. It used to be a hotel before being changed into apartments. And since Van Metre took over last fall, they have been clearly striving to make the building better and better. Everything was clean, and I could easily tell that regular maintenance is done on the property to ensure everything is in working order. There were great amenities, including a lounge, gym, yoga studio, outdoor lounge, pool, bike storage and repair area, dog wash station, storage room, package lockers, and more. The communal laundry facilities were expansive, and I was impressed with how up-to-date they looked. There are both "modern" and "classic" apartments--the modern have stainless appliances, hard flooring, darker cabinets, and upgraded countertops. The classic apartments have white appliances, carpeting, and white cabinets. While the modern units admittedly look nicer, the classic units also look really nice and are a great option if you want to save some money on your lease. I have toured 13 apartments in the past week and a half, and looked at probably close to a hundred more online. The Mark was ultimately the one that I recommended that my friend rent, as it had the best overall experience. I believe that she will be very happy in this complex. Thank you, Wardell, for all of your help!
Aside from the constant repairs, building wide water shut-offs, water damage in the apartments, heating/air conditioning problems, shady business practices of keeping security deposits and refusing to give them back, and lack of package what REALLY sets me off about this place is that they’ve reduced themselves to towing the cars of there own residents! If you’re someone who works and comes home after 9 pm, good luck finding ANY kind of parking. If they give you crap about “reserved parking” don’t bother because all of those spaces are sold out anyway. If you park next to the building, they will tow your car with the quickness, and when you go to ask why...they simply say they “empathize” with you but give you no assistance or reimbursement of any kind. Even though they KNOW there is NO parking. I wouldn’t recommend living here to my worst enemy. But hey, if you’re a fan of shady business practices and apathy towards residents this is the perfect place for you. My lease is up in two weeks and I can’t wait to get the heck up out of here!!! My recommendation, keep looking!!

On behalf of our team, please accept our apologies for any unfavorable experiences you may have had at The Mark Apartments. Van Metre took over management of The Mark in September of 2018 and we've been working to fix many previous problems. I thank you for your feedback; it is extremely important to me and the success of our team here. I would like the opportunity to meet with you one-on-one to discuss and fix all your ongoing concerns. Please contact me in the leasing office, at your convenience, to set up a time to discuss your concerns together. I look forward to meeting with you. Dan Hoke, Property Manager 571-384-5700
The building and management are going through changes. Safe yourself the trouble and keep looking. Some positives but the negatives far outweigh them. Over the past few months there have been issues with hot water. I am currently sitting in my apt feeling cold because there is no heat. There is no available overnight visitor parking. Last but not least, they seem to be having a problem with mice. As I said, keep looking.

We appreciate your feedback! Van Metre recently took over management of The Mark Apartments and we have an unwavering commitment to our customers and a longstanding reputation for rigorous standards. We're sorry about your previous experience with the former management company and we look forward to making significant positive changes so you will be happy to call The Mark home. Dan Hoke, Property Manager
I'm glad that some others experience has been great but that couldn't be farther from the truth for me. Yes they have great amenities but 90% of the time they do not work. The washing machine area for example is constantly dirty, or broken machines, the floor is flooded as we speak, and the app stopped working since month 2 when I moved in. The apartment community runs on a boiler system so when we had that heat wave in march/April.. guess what? We had no air conditioning. And when we told them they told us to open a window or use ice packs. The bathrooms have no ventilation so when you go #2, there's no way to let out the smell. The common areas are often paved with dog poop because it's supposed to be dog-friendly but the people living here do a poor job cleaning after their dogs. There are leaks everywhere and instead of replaced damp carpet, they plug in a fan. What about mold? They promised us a $200 gift card, never saw it. No matter how many times I called corporate or management. There's been a balance on my account due to their accounting error and I keep hearing we'll get it fixed and nothing ever happens. Then they just sent me a letter that if I don't pay that balance they're kicking me out in 5 days!! So we paid our rent on time and sometimes before it was due and now we get threatening letters. Also, there were days without electricity and there was no communication on when it would get turned on. I have kids and needed to bath them, we were sitting in the hallways with no water and no electricity. This is not a sanitary building. If that doesn't bother you, then you'll have a great time living here. They don't care.
I have been living here for 15 months. The first year was not too bad. Annoying that the A/C can't be used year round but I was able to tolerate it. Now I'm going through my second year. It has gotten so much worse and I know I'm changing apartments once this lease ends. 1. Not having A/C year round is a big factor. Lately when it is on because it is summer, it's not even cooling off my apartment. Multiple requests have been put in and other residents as well but nothing is being done. . 2. Power outage. Ever since they began these "final shutdown phases" there have been multiple unplanned power outages, A/C having issues, and lack of parking. 3. The guest suite is a absolute joke. You can have friends or family stay in a guest suite for 125 or 100 a night. However what they don't provide is cable, toilet paper, towels, or the essentials that a hotel would provide. So suggestion to Those who live here , don't pay for that. Have them use hotel. 4. Staff. They need to understand that we have the right to complain and voice concerns and to not give us attitude in return. 5. Club house and laundry room has nice size Tv's but no remote. They tell me there should be but that's a flat out lie because for these 15 months there has never been a remote. overall , It has nice amenities and decent apartments but this new management is not affective and this building has too many issues to be worth 1590 a month before utilities.
Here is my review of the first 60 days at The Mark. Upon arrival from a two-day cross country drive, the apartment shown to us was different from the floor plans shown as well as unfinished. The receptionist was very nice but confused as to exactly what was going on because it was her first day and had only over heard somebody was moving in, in passing, while the building manager was leaving for a sick day. They were accommodating in finding another apartment not yet finished but matching the floor plans. The apartment itself is actually quite nice with all of the new upgrades. The bathrooms are incredibly small with little available storage. We can barely hear the neighbors above or below and the hallways are normally fairly quiet. Parking is usually fine and not a hassle to enter or exit. The bike storage and dog washing room are really pretty great resources I use regularly. The staff in the front reception are normally very nice but sometimes appear to be kept in the dark about what is going on with management or other higher up details. There is no loading dock and only two small elevators that must be accessed through the front lobby, making the move in very difficult and/or time consuming. We tried to use the free month of rent but it is continuing to show up in the computer system as being owed even though we have been assured it will disappear. The $500 gift card thing for dry-cleaning has yet to be seen. Second is an issue with mail. There is a nice box system available but it does cost money to register an account with the company. The Mark themselves do not accept packages for residents. Although my Amazon order will say delivered, it did not show up at my door for another couple of days. It did take a week or two to get a key to the mailbox but that issue is cleared up now I guess. The laundry room is nice but is two dollars to wash and two dollars to dry. That is not surprising, just something I don't remember mentioned on the website before renting. The Mark seems to be filled with loads of inconveniences and issues that are allegedly being ironed out. According to the constant defacing of posters in the elevators, the issues have been going on for quite some time. For the money, I would suggest to do a walkthrough and to keep looking around. The neighbors have been really nice but all of them have more complaints than kudos.
I'm such a huge person on reviews before making decisions on things and looking at some of these reviews were scary for my boyfriend and I when we were looking at this apartment. However after doing a lot of research and we chose to live here despite what the reviews said. Yes, there were construction at the time that we moved in but it was expected because we knew that the renovations weren't done yet. Though, management has been truly amazing! They gave us multiple announcements about the construction. They even made accommodations for us during the construction period. The ladies at the leasing office have been nothing but kind to us. I really appreciate everything that they do, mind you I've probably asked more questions than most people. Amenities are amazing! The apartment is wonderful too! We are very happy with our choice and I believe that it's best to always check out the facility before allowing the reviews to push you away.
Unresponsive staff with such high turnover, so many problems and issues--I cannot wait until my lease ends. I honestly feel that the previous reviews were probably populated by Kettler. For what you pay at The Mark, you can get a much nicer apartment elsewhere in Alexandria or Arlington that is fully functional.
I applied for The Mark Apartments complex back in October 2016. I placed a $100 hold fee for the apartment I wanted. Unfortunately, I was denied because I didn't meet the requirements. I was okay with not meeting the requirements. It wasn't personal, it was business. I was told that I would receive my $100 hold fee within 30-45 days. I patiently waited for weeks and I still have not received it. It's almost 2017 and I still do not have my money. I have called the apartment complex only to get the run around for a month and a half. I spoke with Stephanie, the leasing associate, and Monica the manager, to no avail. I event went as far as to contact the corporate office and spoke with someone by the name of Jessica, who then referred me back to the leasing office. Stephanie and Monica kept saying over and over that the check was coming, but it never came. I kept checking the mailbox over and over again, still no check. Even when I moved into my new place, I still was going back to the old place and checking the mail frequently. Granted a $100 bucks, isn't a lot of money, but it's my money and according to the company's policy I was supposed to get it back. You will not receive excellent customer service from this property and they will not uphold their policies. I am beyond disgusted and I encourage you to take your business elsewhere.
I absolutely love the Mark apartments here in Alexandria, Va!! I moved here from the deep south in July and truly feel at home. When choosing a place in the Alexandria area, the mark apartments was the best option to choose from. I highly recommend this place, with its affordability, exceptional amenities, and new renovations. Also, the atmosphere is quite youthful with personable staff who ultimately do everything they can to meet your needs!!! Monica, Neha, & Serita and other staff are tirelessly working around the clock to ensure that customers needs are met! They are good people and at a phenomenal living space!!
This is the perfect place for a single person or a family of 4. Quiet atmosphere, efficient staff, and the amenities are wonderful. Moved in a few months back and was unsure at first because of the construction going on but rest assure it didn't bother me or get in my way at all. The office staff, Neha, Stephaine and Monica are available 7 days a week and the Service Techs, Jake, Khabat and Roberto can be reached 24/7. Secured doors and quiet hallways. Trust me when I say you need to stop by and see this for yourself I assure you that you will fall in love.
There is nothing like living in an apartment that is staffed with friendly and efficient individuals because no matter what when you have a care staff you will have happy residents. Thank you to Neha, Monica, Stephaine, Jake, Khabat and Roberto for always being friendly and actually listening to me when I talked. Your good work does not go unnoticed.
I moved to Virginia about 7 months ago and was super surprised that I actually found an apartment I could afford and not be in the "bad part of town". But since the price was right I just knew that there was something wrong with the place because that is how my luck is. But much to my surprise, this place is worth double what I am paying. Why? Because I feel at home, I feel safe when I enter my building, I feel cared for by the staff (Neha, Stephaine, Monica) and I feel secured with the Service Tech team (Jake, Khabat, Roberto). I know that no matter what the question is, one of those 6 caring individuals with either no the answer or take the time to figure it out for me and do it in a timely manner. So I just want to say thank you for being the wonderful people you are and you definitely make this place feel like a home.
I became a resident of The Mark in August, 2016 after a very long and exhaustive search for a quality apartment home in an ideal location. I am extremely satisfied with my decision to live at The Mark for many reasons and hope that sharing my experience will help you make the best choice for you! Location: For me, The Mark is an ideal location to live. There is easy access to 395, public transit stops right outside the building, and free shuttles to the metro. Within a 10-minute drive, you can be in Arlington, Old Town/Del Rey, and in a 20-minute drive you can be in the heart of D.C. I can’t find anything to complain about regarding the location! It’s pet friendly, too. Staff/Costumer Service: The staff here at The Mark are amazing, specifically Monica (Marketing Specialist) and Kabat (maintenance manager). Monica is always there to answer the phone or respond to an email when I need her the most! Since my move-in, I have only needed to submit a couple maintenance requests, but each one was resolved quickly and with the highest quality of service, thanks to Kabat. Living in an apartment truly requires an amazing, personable, and professional staff to make things easy and The Mark more than excels in this regard. Neighbors: The residents at The Mark are so friendly! Maybe it’s a different world (I moved from Arlington, where people seemed afraid to interact unless you are walking a dog) here in Alexandria, but people hold the elevator or door, say “Hi” and smile, and even keep noise levels to a minimum. My personal favorite part is the diversity – it reminds me of a liberal arts dormitory (in all the best social ways; minus the partying)! Living Space Amenities: Despite moving here in August, I did not get to enjoy/experience the newly renovated pool, but I’ve heard great things from the neighbors. The community spaces are clean, modern, and a great place to socialize. I enjoy having a laundry room because the machines are updated and don’t ruin your clothes. I chose to live in a renovated studio and I couldn’t be happier. There is plenty of square footage and storage, which are a must for any resident, but the renovations (i.e., hardwood floors, marble tile in the bathroom, granite throughout, stainless steel appliances, energy efficient windows) are well-done and make me feel like I’m living expensively, even though the rent is super affordable. I honestly enjoy living here and couldn’t be happier!
This is a great place for a family looking for a clean, friendly, pet friendly, quiet place to live. Perfect for anyone who takes public transportation. The Maintenance team is on top of everything and the management team is the absolute best. Thank you for making this a home for me.
I have lived here my whole life and remember when this place used to be a hotel, I must say I was very worried when my wife said we were moving in because I didn't know what to except and the day we moved it my mind changed instantly. The staff welcomed us and even walked us to our apartment to ensure that everything was up to par with the place and every little thing I pointed out was fixed by the time I had all my stuff moved in 2 days later. Love that they are professional and actually care about the residents. Shout out to the whole team.
Moved in a few months ago and absolutely love it. It is full stocked with what I needed, a pool, club house, extra storage, laundry room on site, business center, gym, bike room and pet friendly. Every morning I wake up and leave I see people cleaning the halls, on each floor, trash pick up daily, and the staff is wonderful. A great place to live and be comfortable.
I moved in about 6 months ago from Maryland and I was nervous at first since Maryland's rent is so much cheaper but I needed to move to a better location for my daughter. Found the Mark online and moved in with 1 week, and even though my spouse was very suspicious on how fast we moved, we all are very happy we did. It is a great location, perfect for public transportation and all the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Shout out to the office staff who handle all my crazy questions. Thank you Ms. Neha, Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Monica.
From the moment I walked in 6 months ago, I felt special and taken care of in a way no other apartment building has ever made me feel. I was welcomed with smiles and professional individuals. From the property manager Ms. Neha all the way to the cleaning staff, always smiling and eager to help with whatever I needed. A great place and I recommend it to all.
This apartment has everything you need. Moved in a few months ago and have used every amenity it offers. Pool in the summer, club house for my daughters birthday party, bbq grill on Sundays, laundry room every week, business center when I need to get on the computers, and large tvs when I want to run away from my wife. Love it and I highly recommend it.
I moved here in July of 2016, so very recently. From the moment I walked into the building the staff was extremely professional, friendly and helpful. Tina and Neha went above and beyond to make sure I felt completely comfortable and at home here. I choose this complex because the studio apartment they showed me (which is the modern) was the biggest bang for my buck. It was soooo much bigger, up to date and even CHEAPER than anywhere else I looked in the same neighborhood. My kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, a deep sink, everything is full size (that isn't always the case in Studios), and the countertops and cabinets were beautiful. The apartment didn't have any carpets YAY!!! I find carpeting gross :) On top of it all my entire outside wall is lined with huge windows. I have complete control over the heat and air conditioning, it works amazing. The shower in may bathroom has great pressure and I never feel confined even though it's a studio.
I will start by saying, "don't rush in just yet". The apartment: Starting with the kitchen, the simplest way to put it is; it's ugly; the flooring is stained laminated tiles which comes out while you are moping or just walking, the cabinets, the stove and the fridge are also stained. The Kitchen is big, but the way it is designed it does not fits a small table without blocking a door or an appliance, also it has many cabinets, but these are small and awkward positioned. The rest of the apartment is carpeted, it was new when I moved in. It has an spacious living room and a separate dining room, which I turned into a closet due to the lack of closets space in the rest of the apartment. The bathroom was also stained when I moved in, including the mirror. The bedroom is small, which is consecuence of bad designing because there is a lot of wasted space in the apartment, I have a queen bed, a night stand and a dresser, it looks packed. The apartment is very warm, you can not control the temperature with the thermostat, because it will always be higher than what you programmed it to be. The building is under "renovation" at the moment, but looks more like under "construction". There is not much to say about the building, there are no amenities, except for the hardly ever working laundry room. The building has mice and cockroaches, probably because unconscious tenants leaving trash bags on the halls. Other tenants have found mold in the vents and there was a sign (by the construction company) that read "Danger: Asbestos" on the first floor. The staff seems friendly, sometimes, except for their lack of time, they will ask you to wait 15 minutes until they finish whatever they're doing when you stop by for simple things like pick up a package or pay the rent, because they put all the focus on getting new tenants and are not concerned about keeping the current tenants comfortable (they are short staffed). There are a couple places at walking distance, like supermarkets, a mall, restaurants and bus stops, the train is 30 minutes away, so that is relatively walking distance. I moved here because the rent was cheap and the website shows cool amenities that were suppose to be ready by last Spring, then last Summer, then this Fall and now they are suppose to be ready next Spring, but I hardly believe they will ever be finished. My rent ends next winter and they offered me to renew with more than 10% increase, which is not worth it.

Hello, We apologize that your experience at The Mark so far has been less than favorable. However, this review does not paint an accurate picture of this property. There is an exciting conversion underway to rehab and refurbish an older neglected building. And the contractors involved with the renovation abide by all OSHA and other health requirements at all times. Claims of excessive and pervasive mold and asbestos are grossly exaggerated. We have many residents who are pleased and proud to call The Mark home, and we look forward to revealing the final amenity spaces by year's end. We thank everyone for their patience. Please contact the management office to further discuss any concerns. Regards, The Mark and Kettler Team

DO NOT MOVE INTO THE MARK. The building used to be a hotel and they are currently renovating it to be "luxury" apartments. I have lived through the entire process of renovation and it has not been a good experience at all. So far we've found out that there are mold in the vents, asbestos, trash on the floors and pest (I have caught two mice so far in my personal apartment and have heard from other neighbors on other floors that they've had cockroaches). Kettler took over the project in April and they have been far from helpful to the current residents of the building. It is hard to write all the stories in the past 6 months into 1 review so to summarize it: I've had packages that are delivered according to USPS tracking # that have not been found (since they do not have a good mail process), we got charged a trash fee because someone left trash bags in front of our door and management told me that I needed to get in the trash bags myself in order to prove they were not mine, I was working from home one day with my pjs and a random worker from the construction just walked in my apartment without even knocking on the door and without notice before hand that they were going to see my apartment (I was wearing a long t-shirt -no bra or pants.... girls you get my point), found out 2 weeks ago that the fire alarms don't work after the entire fire department came in because a neighbor smelled an electrical fire, etc. On top of it all, we just got notice that if I want to extend my lease, they are increasing my rent by 15%. The entire building is useless as it is under construction (meaning that it is loud noises all week long and half the time we don't get hot water). And do not get me started on the kids running in the hallways or riding their bikes... That is completely another issue. In conclusion - do not live here. If you are just looking for a cheap place to live - don't trust it either... They start increasing rent/utilities without a day of notice.

I don't even know when to begin. I try to keep my peace around this place because it is "new" but today was the straw that broke the camels back. Since I've been here there has been two management companies. The first one was horrible the second one...not too far behind them. I moved here Dec 2014 and I am counting down the months until my lease is up. From not being able to control your air and heat (which they abruptly changed the cost of, they are going to keep adding a extra $15 to your utility bill monthly. If you are at $100 this month it'll be $115 next month, $130 the next and so on) to the air condition barely working, to living somewhere that has been under construction since December, to the dead mice in my apartment, to still having hotel keys to enter my unit...it's really just a mess! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone at least not right now. Horrible experience so far!!!! Oh and there are no washer and dryers in the units...and the laundry room has all washers and dryers THAT DONT WORK! Great area, horrible building. The maintenance team is the best part of living there but they can only do but so much with a building that is falling to pieces. They're friendly. Everything else I hate! BEWARE they will try to sell you on the new amenities and new construction that will be completed at some point in 2016 but please do not forget just because something may look good doesnt mean it is good. The cosmetic changes will not fix the rodent issue, water damages, nor the Asbestos problem. Imagine walking up to your apartment to see a sign stating DANGER DO NOT ENTER ASBESTOS CAN CAUSE CANCER. Scary, right? And the leasing office seems to think this is no big deal. They are trying a new tactic to raise the rent of current residents $200 more than what we currently pay so that we can all move out and new people can come in, hoping to leave better reviews for them. And I will tell you...there tactic is working because I WILL NOT be coming back to this place. They couldn't pay me to live here actually. Save yourself the time, energy, and money...move somewhere else.

I was considering The Mark because I was in love with the packaging on their website but for the tour it was terrible. It had previously been a hotel that is under reconstruction and being flipped but it's it looks inhabitable in the meantime (Asbestos found in one apt, OSHA called, mold and current residents moving out, the whole nine). Only 3 floors of the entire building have been renovated while the rest looks decrepit. On the tour, the leasing agent seemed nice and knowledgeable but had to say what my apartment would look like by piecing together what we had seen in the apartments that I had toured. She didn't return any of my calls or emails after my tour when I actually DID want to be contacted because I was still interested at the time. That us really sloppy and inattentive. The prices will be too expensive ($1400) if the entire building looks this terrible and it's only 3 floors that are good; doors still have the hotel swipe key. It's just a work in progress and the residents who live there should get a discount so they can move up to the renovated apartments at no additional charge.

This place was good at the beginning, then the company was sold and everything changed.

Mold, asbestos, mice, roaches in the elevators... None of the amenities advertised actually exist, trash in the hallways, gas leaks, faulty emergency system and they about 20 residents with face masks desperately trying to leave and who warned me before I even made it to the rental office. Don't do it unless you can equally afford wearing a hazmat suit.
