Property Ratings at The Mark at Riverdale
I’ve lived here for about 8 months and we’ve went through 3 management changes. All to end up with worse management than when we started. Maintenance takes entirely to long and there’s mold on the property that there not taking care of. Not to mention extra fees and charges that they just add without warning. This complex is terrible!
Do not I repeat DO NOT!! come here if I can give them a zero star I would you are going to hate it everything they put on the website is a lie .first month moving in the bathroom Ceiling has fell .bugs have be crawling nun stop .They raise the price every month on the rent .because somebody keeps selling the apartments. Make it hard to keep in contact with the owners. The pool is a mess it’s been down sense we moved in and they have no gym the gate keeps getting hit by non-driving adults.Finally trash these people are freaking nasty nobody likes to take there trash to the dumpster I can’t wait until this lease is up. They not finna keep charging me $1,000.
We visited Gateway and toured with Ms. Stephanie. Although I am not moving until the summer I am excited about all the resident activities they are involved in.
This has one of the best properties I have ever resided in within this area. The staff and maintenance trmeam are amazing and when something goes wrong and you put in a work order it is usually completed the same day. The property is well kept and you will definitely get a bang for your buck.
We recently toured the property and we really liked it. Miss Stephanie was very helpful in helping us make sure all our needs were met. We have recommended this place to two of our close friends. It is great!

Jamal is a great Property Manager! He is very professional, friendly, and he goes above and beyond to satisfy your needs! I never had any problems here. I love this property!!!! I wouldn't chose any other place to stay. It is very quiet and clean here. I just LOVE the GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE that is delivered each and every day.
I've been living here for a few years now things have been ok,recently ran into some real issues but Jamal and his staff step in and made things work. No matter where u live things could always be better. From my experience the office staff works with u and have always gotten any of my complaints taken care of. I'm comfortable with my living arrangements at this time.
DO NOT RENT!! DO NOT RENT!! DO NOT RENT!! This place is a joke. They'll do anything to get your money, but won't fix anything in your unit. Waaaaaaaay too expensive & not worth it. Maintenance guys flirt instead of fix, office folks are either gossiping or trying to figure out how to get more money out of current tenants. Rent increase minimum $55 every year (if you renew by the first deadline),no upgrades or anything given for the increase... Pool is never clean, no playground for the children, no workout or laundry facility, the gate is the dumbest thing ever (works when it wants, prevents you from exiting or entering the property at any given time, doesn't send calls through whenever visitors come, only one entrance so the line is hella long if a visitor is calling someone,... The list goes on), the property/community is disgusting (expect to see bags of trash randomly placed on the property & all around the dumpster area, but never inside of the actual dumpster), can barely open & close mailbox b/c the entire area has been broken for over a year. Roaches & stray cats all over the property. EVERYTHING about this place is expensive FOR NO REASON!!! DO NOT RENT!! DO NOT RENT!! DO NOT RENT!!
Do not rent here. Kenya is money hungry and will do whatever she can do to keep you living here! I have rented here for two years, have never been late on my rent or given them any trouble and have seen the complex decline in quality, while the rent prices continue to increase. The gate has been broken for a year. The pool was unusable last summer. The "fitness center" has one broken treadmill and one broken elliptical. The "laundry facility" has been broken since I moved in back in 2015. My apartment was broken into January 2017 and the people in the leasing office did not care. Kenya begged me to stay after my first lease was up and only raised my rent $20 dollars. I was provided with new leasing terms after my 60 day notice was due and was told " Just like you're in the office now, you could've walked in and asked". I am currently trying to move and Kenya wont release my information to any other apartment complex. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!! LOOK ELSEWHERE. If I could give this complex 0 stars I would.
