Greenville, MS is a rural town that has plenty of Southern hospitality to offer its residents and visitors alike. Its located in Washington County along the Mississippi River Delta. It in fact bills itself as the Heart and Soul of the Delta, mostly because of its connection to blues music. Rent for many apartments throughout the region is very affordable for the city's size.
Greenville, MS is perhaps most known for being the birthplace of Muppet's creator Jim Henson. The city is proud of its connection to one of the biggest titans in the history of television and has sought to turn the connection into a tourism business. There is a Kermit the Frog museum in neighboring Leland that attracts people from all over the country. You can get a look at some of Henson's early work with Kermit as well as some of the original Muppets that were used by Henson himself. Henson's childhood home is also a popular choice for drive-by tourists.

Property Ratings at The Mark
We signed a one-year lease during a transition period after selling our home. We have enjoyed our stay here, & have had no issues. Management has been great and easy to work with. They are responsive when there is a need, & they watch out for their tenants. Property is well-maintained, Pest control is scheduled regularly. The location is great, and we’ve had great neighbors. We definitely recommend The Mark!
Have nice little apartments for a good price. Friendly staff also
I've lived here for three years and in that time one of the bathrooms hasn't been functional for at least half that time. I have repeatedly asked them to fix it and they dont, it's ridculous and if they do fix something it immeditly breaks again. Every year without fail they will raise our already too high rent about fifteen more dollars. A two bedroom is about $780 a month minimum for a very outdated apartment with only one working bathroom apparently. It is very outdated here, the appliances are laughable. The manager is nice enough but the rent is far too high and the matainence staff sad. This needs to be fixxed immeditly.
I have lived here for about a year now and have found it an exceptional experience. I cannot recommend it enough. It is a bit pricer than other apartments in the area but new carpet, floors, appliances, etc. and conditions of living are much better than anywhere else in Greenville! Management does a great job of keeping the property clean, safe, and anytime I have had a problem (only once in a year) the manager, on her vacation, immediately had a company come and fix the problem immediately! The same day! All of the tenents are quiet and since I've been here, in a year, not one time was there crime or even felt unsafe. I get home late at night sometimes from my job but have never even seen anything suspicious. Can't recommend it enough and I am really a tenent, not paid to say this...lol!
GREAT place to live! Love my apartment and feel very safe and comfortable. Office personnel is always very friendly and helpful, as well as makes certain that when I need something taken care that it is handled as soon as possible. Wouldn't want the job of trying to keep this many people happy all of the time. Thanks for all you do! You are much appreciated. #notgoingnowhere Karen Coleman
I was very impressed by the professional staff. Office manager was willing to stay late to show the apartment and even offered to come in on her day off. The property was very clean and the apartment was very nice. Fresh paint, new counter tops, and stainless steel appliances! Best apartment complex in Greenville!!
The apartments are OVER PRICED for the conditional living! Most cabinets and appliances are out of date! The rent should be a lot cheaper but it is constantly going up!
Terrible management. Overpriced units. Really surprised people continue to live here. This is new management. And rent is continually going up. I would recommend looking elsewhere. For the high end price you should get something a lot nicer. Very dated appliances. Terrible linoleum flooring in kitchen. Mostly all units have old cabinetry with dated countertops. Does not equate to the price you are paying. Good luck in your apartment search!
Property Manager at The Mark, Responded To This Review
At the Mark, we work extremely hard to meet and exceed all of our residents expectations. Since the management change in 2015, we have began remodeling units with stainless steel appliances, updated counter tops, flooring, and fixtures. It is our goal to be Greenville's premier apartment community which is evident in the fact that we were just voted best apartment community by the Delta Democrat Times. We strongly encourage this resident to come by the office and give us the opportunity to show what we have to offer.
The Mark apartments are very nice & spacious! The pictures are good, but I would advise you to schedule an appointment to view the apartment. The appearance looks much better in person! The staff had excellent customer service & assisted me in any possible way. I felt very welcomed! They have truly won me over versus the other apartments listed in Greenville, MS. I think I may have found my new home.
