Property Ratings at The Masters Apartments
The staff, including the property manager are extremely rude, unprofessional, and they do not care about their tenants. I attempted to address a concern I had with the property manager after they made a HUGE error on my account. I was given every excuse about why they had no responsibility for their system and was told she did not have time to address my issue and then she rudely dismissed me from her office. They do not complete work orders or the work order magically disappears. I have been waiting for repairs to my apartment for over a year. They take no accountability on their end for anything and then will threaten to evict you. Any error on their end becomes the financial responsibility of the tenant. This place is in a beautiful area but is ran like low income housing. I attempted to contact the management company, Sheehan Property Management. They did not answer and they do not even have a voicemail set up to leave any messages. The hallways are filthy. No one has cleaned the hallway in my building for months. Steer clear of this place!! As soon as I can, I am moving to a place that truly cares about their tenants. They sucker you in up until lease signing and then it is all down hill from there!
My apartment was filthy when I moved in. The pool is supposed to be open Memorial Day to Labor Day. It’s now two weeks past Memorial Day and the office staff will not give an opening date when asked. They just continue to push back the date.
Lots of park's and nature near by! Beautiful pool! Washer and dryer included! Can't beat that!
If you want an apartment that over promises and under delivers, you've met the right place to live. I have had so many issues, over pay for rent, little to no amenities that were promised, and the renovations are a joke. I highly recommend you look elsewhere.

Thank you for reaching out. We regret to hear that you feel this way. Please contact the office to discuss these concerns at your earliest convenience. We want to address them as quickly as possible.
When I lived there we had a break and saw someone else's place getting broken in to. The police were also useless in this area. Then when I moved out they claimed my dogs ruined the carpet, kept my pet fee, and charged me $800.The pictures they sent as proof were do fake but I was told we would like not win if we fought it. Please do not move here! It is unsafe and they fo not care about their residents. I only lived there little over a year before getting the heck out. They ard the worst!

We are sorry to see that you are unhappy at the moment. We want to assure you that our staff takes great pride in their ability to provide our residents with transparent service and information. We are always willing to discuss any discrepancies our residents have, and our staff will always do what they can to assist you. Thank you.
Moved out after 5 yrs and this place is a joke. They care more about how they project themselves and the appearance of the place rather than taking care of their tenants. They have no problems jacking up the rent but could care less about any issues affecting the apartments (ie. appliances, drug use or repair issues). They rarely give you a 24 hrs notice to enter your unit and make you pay double the rent when someone broke into their rent box. They blamed us for that stolen check when in fact, it was a cashier's check. Never reimbursed us for the extra rent. Stay away from this place!!!

I moved out of The Masters in October 2013. Since then I have lived in other apartments, bought a house, and went on with my life. Today (December 21, 2017), I find out through applying at another apartment complex that I "owe" The Masters money from 2013. This is the first time I have heard anything about this. Upon contacting the Masters I was told to contact the agency they use for collections. So, I contact the collection agency and they have no record of this ever being turned in. Once I relay this information back to the Masters I'm told, "Well that's good for you, but you still owe us." Even though they did not follow their own procedure for collecting money, even though they made the mistake, and even though they would have never had known about this until I brought it to their attention, this is still my problem. Their customer service is a joke. They don't care about their tenants, and lack any basic empathy when dealing with something that is clearly their fault. I was willing to meet them half way or something, but their unwillingness to budge has made this whole situation worse.
They will make you responsible for rent that was stolen from their possession even with documentation that you paid!
I've lived at The Masters for just over a month and although the complex is clean and quiet, my apartment was filthy when I moved in. Dust and cobwebs everywhere, food left on the burners and in the oven, grease on the kitchen walls, toilets that constantly run and it took 4 attempts to fix the washing machine before they decided to replace it. This place was recommended to me, I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Moved into the Masters about a year ago and it has been a positive experience. Really nice staff in the front office, easy to use website to pay rent/submit service requests. Grounds are well kept, tennis courts and playground are older and need to be redone however. Feel very safe here very quiet and family-friendly neighborhood. The apartments themselves are a bit older but have no issues with appliances. Bathrooms are quite nice and washer/dryer work perfectly and are in every apartment! Only minor complaints I have are: 1. The gym really is a joke here it is a treadmill and an exercise ball. 2. When the maintenance team enters your apartments they do not inform you what work they completed so when I come home from work, I have no idea who or why they were in my apartment. 3. Seems to be only 2 people at the office all the time so if one of the two are busy you could wait quite a while to resolve your issue. Overall, I recommend this apartment complex. It is safe, affordable, and a quiet place to live.
After terrible prior renting experience, The Masters is a breath of fresh air. The application process and move in were smooth and stress-free. Our apartment is quiet and the grounds are very well maintained. We absolutely love having the screened in patio. Would definitely recommend living here!
The apartments are nice and the grounds are kept up well. The appliances are very old, water heater hardly works; 5 minute showers at most. 2 bedroom apartments are very nice. 1 bedroom is way too small, there is no door from your bedroom to the hall that connects it to the bathroom so when you have guests over they can see straight in to your bedroom. I wont be renewing my lease for more reasons than one.
