The neighborhood attracts new residents due to its convenient location and beautiful waterfront properties. The fantastic view of the New York City skyline is a major calling card for the area.

Property Ratings at The Maximilian
The staff at the Maximilian are some of the friendliest building staff that I've ever come across, they take the time to learn your name and give you a nice warm welcome when you arrive home. The apartments themselves are nice, modern apartments with new appliances and spacious bathrooms. With any New York City apartment, they could be a little bit larger. The amenities overall are pretty good, the gym is nice though it would be great if there was a space for group exercise classes. The lounge area is great in theory but I rarely use it. The roof deck is beautiful and is one of my favorite parts of the building, management should do a better job of maintaining the grill area as it quickly builds up grease and breaks. If the grill area were cleaned/maintained properly I would rate the building at 5 stars.
